Over the years I have passed this little road stand countless times and they were never opened. Welp... holy cow was I lucky to pass by and I saw they were opened. I steamed them simply with Old Bay seasonings in the Steam water. Look, I have probably 100 experiences buying crabs from a roadside stand, so I think I know what is good and what is just so-so. These crabs were so succulent that I was giddy. The crabs were easy to get out of their shells, and the meat was super sweet. The Jimmies were accurately sized. Wow. Delicious. The desserts as well as a wide selection of drinks are all made in house and it shows. We brought our own beer & wine - I think Fortescue is a dry town. Hubby had his usual 7 and 7. The pizza was truly one of the best I've ever had. The place was packed at...literally 4:25 PM on a Friday. We were lucky to get a hi-top table. The last one available. We ordered a personal pizza (Gino's Favorite) and at 12 inches, was way too much for the two of us. Thank goodness we like leftovers! We will definitely be back here again, and a bit earlier to experience Happy Hour at the bar. Bruce says that many of the delish-sounding pizzas on their menu are available by the slice during Happy Hour, making it a bit easier to decide which one is your favorite!
