We had interviewed several contractors and chose Creekside Pro Construction, and we're glad we did. This positive impression held true throughout the entire project, reinforcing our confidence in Creekside Pro Construction. Working with Barak was a truly positive experience from start to finish. He consistently demonstrated excellent communication skills, actively listening to and addressing concerns throughout the project. Barak's patience and timely estimates made the entire process smooth. The project was completed on schedule and within the agreed budget. Thank you Barak and Creekside Pro Construction for getting us back in our home before the holidays.

Update after the company's response:…read more For transparency, I am adding screenshots from the signed contract and project email correspondence. The contract (Quote #3975 - $150,000) clearly includes upgrading the main residential electrical service to 200 AMP and installing the awning above the ADU access door as part of the project scope. These items were presented in the company's response as if they were additional work, but they appear explicitly in the signed contract. I have also included an email dated Aug 20 from the project manager confirming the project was "on track for completion in 3-4 months." The project ultimately took around 6 months to complete. Additionally, the electrical work referenced in their response included an EV circuit, which is typically required for new construction and ADU projects under the 2022 California Electrical Code. This is a standard code requirement rather than a discretionary upgrade. These screenshots provide context for my experience during the project. Throughout the build I frequently had to verify measurements, coordinate ordering timelines, and raise planning questions that would normally fall under project management. The on-site crew worked hard and treated the property respectfully, and I appreciate their effort. My review reflects the overall experience managing this project as a homeowner and is shared to provide transparency for others considering a similar project.

Between the initial estimate and the final days of the job ending I changed my mind and added a few more major areas to this project and the crew accepted my changes and adjusted their schedules to still accommodate my current project while still keeping any new client jobs to start on time. This was very important to me that they were very flexible with my changes. We really appreciated their recommendations since this is their expertise and their help really made our changes come together. Our project consisted of electrical, plumbing, roofing, painting, flooring, interior and exterior doors and windows. We would definitely recommend this company!!

He's worked on multiple projects for us since 2001 First on a 1927 Berkeley house that needed major work due to water/rot damage, where Manuel and his team calmly brought the whole back wall and corner down to the studs and then strategically restored the framing and all the details. We replaced 15+ windows. A huge undertaking that was really just another day's work for them. We were able to feel safe and calm, because they knew exactly what they were doing. Their work was just beautiful. Recently, they have spent the last few years helping us, on-and-off, to remodel a Bay Area home with 4 sets of French doors, skylights, vaulted ceilings, electrical, heating, plumbing, a large wrap-around 600sf deck, outdoor arbors, kitchen appliances, gas, and 160 linear feet of fencing with an additional 3ft retaining wall (9ft total height). We hired Four Piers for the job and were so glad we did. The team was able to start right away and everything got done smoothly and relatively quickly considering the challenges with the stormy weather. The roof looks as good as new and the new fence, paver patio and steps are even better than what we had previously. The Four Piers crew was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They also gave us a very fair price, which allowed us to stay within the insurance company's budget. We will definitely contact Four Piers again if we need any additional work done to our house or outdoor area. We are thankful to Four Piers for helping us turn a challenging situation into something much nicer in the end. We look forward to enjoying our new outdoor space!

She dictated that following day's appointment is canceled. It was only after I asked twice, is when she shared why, it seemed like a drag to communicate the reason. She proceeded to start booking alternative days until I reminded her that my wife and I are both working professionals with small children and that weekends are our only available time together. This fact was clearly articulated by me during the initiall call to book the onsite appointment. Ironically, the initial employee who booked the call insisted that my wife and I should be home together. As I attempted to check our busy calendar (and narrating my steps), Wendy began repeating and mocking me about being busy; "so are eveyone else sir, so are everyone else...") and then hung up without getting a response from me! Wendy, you are the front face of the death of modern customer service/business etiquette! A contributing factor to the overall poor perception of general contractors and top of the list for creating negative revenue for your organization.

I've kind of been procrastinating on this review simply because it won't be short! Ha! Initially…read moremy husband had one of those 'Honey Do' lists that included remodeling our front bathroom. C'mon, how difficult can it be? So we do the demo and find old damage to the framing of the shower and dry rot. Okay I agree we need to call in the professionals. We found Premier through the Diamond Certified booklet and gave Richard a call. When I explained what we wanted Richard said could take on the job immediately and he would provide an estimate. I thought the estimate he came back with was high since we had already done all of the demo. Including getting the beast of a tub out. All I wanted was a frame-less shower, tiled walls, floor, and paint. How can that cost so much? But we needed the bathroom done and they could begin immediately. More about that later. Richard promised the job would be done in two weeks which made us happy since we only had one to use and even with only two people it is tough. Richard came by every morning during the project to check on the progress. Federico and Angel were friendly and arrived early each morning and worked late into the day. They were even 'cheerful' while they worked laughing and chatting with each other. No grumpiness here. At the end of each day I took pics and was very impressed with the progress and how it was all coming together just like I imagined. About the finished bathroom. We really could not be happier. The tile work in the shower is impeccable. They tested the water tightness overnight before beginning to even lay down the shower floor. The floor is sloped so the water will drain properly and not puddle. They added a light/fan combination that wasn't there before and moved electrical outlets to accommodate fixtures. I felt really bad for Federico because he had to go into our attic on a very hot day to hook up the exhaust fan which we did not have before. They even had to shave off the bottom of the original door since the tile floor was higher than the old vinyl floor. My only caution to anyone who uses Premier is to get the shower door factored in early in the project. Like day one. It affects everything including tile and paint. Premier does not do the shower doors which requires getting a bid and conversation from a different contractor. We would have definitely made a few different decisions if we'd talked to the glass guy upfront. Getting back to the cost. We did have to pay for the tile and other materials. I will say that based on the level of effort, the quality of the work, and the finished product, that both my husband and I felt like Richard had underbid this project and we ended up with a product that could/should have cost quite a bit more. Am I complaining? No, we just felt like we were committing a crime. We now have a 'showroom' quality bathroom for the cost of a standard bathroom that will last for the life of the home. All on time and on budget! Thank you Federico, Angel, and Richard! I'll be calling for the other bathroom but please underbid that too! =0)
