This is a very authentic Mexican restaurant. They do not make their own tortilla chips, however, which is just as well because normally I overeat those and have no room for my entree! My husband and I both ordered the beef burrito and I was pleased with the freshness of the burrito ingredients and noted that it was not loaded with a bunch of shredded cheese. We ordered ice tea and it was fresh brewed and refreshing. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful. We would definitely return and try some more of their menu offerings. I was pleased to see on their menu too, that they served menudo on Saturdays as well as tamales. I would definitely return for that and give it a try.

The food is overpriced considering the meh quality, but clearly the owner knows tourist options are fairly limited due to the relative remoteness of the location in the area. If you are looking for a "fancy" restaurant in Broken Bow, this is probably the closest to one we saw during our weekend stay, but it falls far short when even compared to basic restaurants in the relatively close by big city of the DFW Metroplex just a few hours to the South West of the area. Stick with camping food. Whatever you bring to town to cook in your cabin / Air B&B will probably be better than what they have here.

The chips, cheese dip and salsa dip was good but the fajitas were dried. We waited a long time for our food imagine if we were hungry then we had to wait for the tortillas after three minutes I asked the cashier about the tortillas and she had an attitude instead of getting the tortillas that was waiting for the server to give us. My personal opinion is that they were serving a party group and neglected us. The service was not good at all;-( read more

Place is neat, service is definitely good, they give you what you want. The problem I have here though happens to be the staff's expressions. They look grumpy and there are times you just dont want to see their faces. Why are they like these? Not paid enough? Hahaha.. Come on guys, SMILE! Lol! Food was good though. I like it.
