I cannot believe what a truly terrible business this is! I bought a Groupon for this place for 3 treatments. After repeated calls to even get an appointment, I was finally able to secure an appointment and went in for my first microderm abrasion. When I arrived I waited a long time to be even acknowledged. They do not have a person at the reception desk so clients just have to wait for someone to appear. I was asked for a tip even before starting and I told her no. These were the last words she spoke to me until the end of my appointment. The woman brought me upstairs to a room that was far too brightly lit. I was not asked if I had any concerns with my skin and I found this really odd. I have had many facial treatments and have ALWAYS been asked this. The entire "treatment" consisted of a cleansing, some sort of sticky crap being left on my face for 15-20 minutes at which time the woman left the room. She finally came back and wiped all this garbage off and said I was done. I went downstairs and she again asked for a tip. I told her there would be no tip for such poor service. She actually argued with me. They asked me to pay the taxes for the Groupon, which is normal. I did not even do that. I left and needless to say I shall not be returning for my other 2 treatments. These people do not know what they are doing and are terribly unprofessional. Do not waste your money at this place. I doubt they even have the proper traing as Estheticians. read more

AVOID this place!! I callled over and over to try and make an appointment and left lots of messages and they never return calls. The staff members are quite unprofessional. I went in for a facial and was left waiting alone in the reception area for 20 minutes before anyone even came to the area. I should have left. The facial itself was terrible. It basically consisted of the woman cleansing my face and applying something that felt really sticky and then left me alone in this horribly bright room for over 15 minutes and then came back and wiped all this crap off and then declared me done. This was the only thing she even said to me. She did not even ask what kinds of skin problems I had which I found really odd. I was rushed in and out. I did not feel well treated from the moment I walked in. I will not be returning and would advise people to spend their money at a real salon/spa. These people do not know what they are doing and I really wonder if any of them have the proper qualifications to perform any of these treatments. read more

I want to share my experience with this place. 2 years ago my friend recommended me this center as a very good place to have your skin care done, so I brought my teenager son there(he was having strong acne problem). He is now so goodlooking, you would never guess he had something like that before. This place is a place where you can find professional, careful treatments according to your needs. Now I go their regularily to keep my and my son's skin in good condition. I mean it is not that fancy place as other very expensive places you can go and spend your money. Here you go just to do treatment and relaxation while you do that, and it all done very professional way on newest equipment, with big care. I never had problem with booking, always book in advance. I went for my first of 3 microdermabrasion treatments. the location is a little hard to find but not impossible. I showed up on time and stood there while the two women at the reception area spoke ?Russian and basically ignored me. My "consultation" consisted of the woman telling me I had rosacea. I already knew that and the fact that she had told me that led me to believe she was familiar with various skin conditions. She told me that because I had rosacea she would not be able to do the microdermabrasion but for an extra fee she could do another treatment. She led me upstairs and in a fairly open area under very bright lights. It was not the most relaxing experience I've ever had. The treatment was okay but nothing spectacular. I won't be returning. It did not seem to be the most professionally run establishment. read more

My favorite spot for the last 3 years. Selection of products and services - nice surprise for those who always look for more advanced technologies in welness/fitness therapy. I normally go for all benefits provided with my company: massage, osteopath etc. But over it I take laser therapy and other cometical procedures - always served on time. Quality is on the high level and owner is constantly looking for modernization of her equipment, which has been taken care in perfect condition. It's absolutely pleasant, tastefully decorated and calm environment, that relax me right the way once I enter the door. I am definitely going to stay their devoted customer. Completely agree with Leona D. I tried over and over to get an appointment at this place and when I finally was able, I regretted it. I went in for a massage and it was terrible!! The staff was really unprofessional. I was hurried upstairs to a room that was so bvright I felt like I was in a stadium. Not what I would call relaxing. A tip was expected and asked for before I had my massage. I have never encounterd this brfore EVER and found it ridiculous. The massage was not good in every respect. It was rushed and the woman took a call on her cell phone. I could not believe this. I most certainly did not leave a tip and when I tried to bring my concerns forward, the staff were not interested. I agree with what Melisa had to say. I have never had such a bad experience in my life! This place purports to be a spa. Nothing could be further from the truth. I went in for a green peel facial and it was the absolute worst treatment I have ever had. The room was horribly bright and not remotely relaxing. I was left on my own for the majority of the treatment, the only words even spoken to me were "okay, we done now". It was made clear that a tip was expected and when I declined, I was berated by the staff. Really???? Please, please, please, DO NOT waste your money here. Go to a spa where they treat their clientele with respect and dignity. You will not receive it at this awful business. read more

I just had my first massage with Marina and it was excellent. I hardly ever get massages, but my neck and shoulders were really in pain and my friend recommended "La Vie Wellness center", so I decided to go. She was really awesome and I felt like she understood exactly what my body needed, and knew just how to work each area. Frequently when I get a massage I feel kind of worried that the person will move on to the next area before I feel an improvement--that was not the case at all here. I felt much taken care of. These women are both knowledgeable and highly skilled at what they do. They've also rewarded my loyalty with offering me special deals to keep me as a client and I'm sure they do the same for others. I am a client of La Vie Wellness salon for about 4 years. It is a perfect place if you want your facial done with up-to-date spa products and technologies. My favourite treatment is jet-peel, which I do on the regular basis. It refreshes and re-juvenates your skin and makes you feel and look younger! Massage therapy is also of high quality there. I am a scientist and I love to be effective in life: at la vie wellness center I've found a paradise. Everything is clean, efficient and top of quality. I've also tried the new laser for hair removal: fantastic. This is a step up in my life as I have tried the old laser. The new one is super efficient and fast. As a researcher I do not have time waste and the new laser is 5 times faster so I do not have to spend 1 hr for my legs. I really do have to recommend this place!!!!! read more

I've been coming here since before my graduation. There are obviously hiccups in every small business, yet my mother and I have been pretty content since! Upon walking in, it seemed alright. They recently put in a Eurowave Machine ( I think it's called?) and since my recent weigh gain, it's been helping me slim (with trying to maintain a healthy diet and excercise, haha) most notably around the buttocks. this place was awful! i went in for a massage and was real disappointed. i do not think the woman doing the massage knew what she was doing. every other place i have had massages at lots of places and the person doing the massage asks what aches need working on but this place just wants to rush people through. the room was so bright and i could not relax at all. i felt the staff was rude and not professional. won't be coming back here again. read more

I been going for massage therapy in this location since February 2013. I find them polite and always greeted you when you came in. They always find a way to find me a spot for my massage. II tried new product line called eminence available at La Vie Wellness Center. It feels great! I had four slimming body wraps. Effect is fantastic! My skin is way tighter and smother! Plus the products contain only handmade organic ingredients! I would recomend everybody to try it. read more
