I'm 48 and have Breast Cancer, the combination of medication and recent radiation therapy has made my skin dry and dehydrated with enlarged pores. My old skin care routine is no longer effective so I sought out professional help and booked a skin consult here. Well they cancelled on me twice, then finally when I had my initial consultation the esthetician didn't ask me anything about my skin or my skin care routine or the products I was using, nothing. I explained to her what I had just been through and how it affected my skin and asked how I should care for my skin. Her response was: "if you are on cancer medication you can't have laser". "But overall, just looking at you, your skin is saggy and you looked tired". "My professional opinion is you should get filler". No Joke, that was her response. Really? Omg, I just had half a breast removed and went through radiation therapy, of course I'm tired! I felt like crying and stormed out. Who treats someone like that? I went in trying to feel better not worse and I left feeling just awful about myself. How unprofessional, tactless, cold, insensitive, inconsiderate, unfeeling, thoughtless, uncaring, callous and cold-hearted. I understand that part of an estheticians job is to upsell the client but really, have a little common sense and use some discretion. Just because you have a job to do should not mean that the client is unworthy of consideration or respect. read more

I purchased a buy 5 get 1 free deal. Management changed before I got my final treatment, and now the new owner (Nicole) is refusing to honor the deal or provide a refund. Nicole told me she would look into my file and would call me back the next day. She mentioned that due to the change she does not usually honor packages previously purchased since she has to incur the expense that a previous owner received revenues for. Her reasoning made no logical sense She did not call in the time frame indicated above so I tried to follow up multiple times. I had to call at least 15 times as she proceeded to ignore and avoid my calls for weeks. Nicole was unethical and unprofessional. She has no appreciation for customer loyalty, takes no accountability and handled this matter poorly. Skin and body has changed their management a few times and I can see this trend continuing in the future with this type of ownership. To anyone reading this, please be cautious before prepaying for any services with this company. Chances are your money will not be recouped if management changes once again. read more

I went to this place twice and had an appointment to go for a third. They phoned me to tell me that the person I had my appointment with was having "personal problems/issues" so they would have to reschedule me. As someone who understands privacy law, I was appalled at the idea that they would call all of her clients and divulge this sort of information. To make matters worse- the only personal problem that their employee was having was that she had fallen victim to them terminating her employment without notice or just cause. I told them that they needed to be professional and look into the legal rights of past and present employees. I don't support businesses that think they are above the law. I also don't support anywhere that does not treat people with kindness and dignity. There are a thousand other places just like this one. read more

I was observing how the other ladies are doing my friends' and they were all taking the time to scrub. I haven't had spa for years so there's no way that there's nothing to remove. I did not want to ask or complain as I did not want her to feel humiliated as everyone would hear for sure. It couldn't be possible that she forgot as she should be trained on how to do it and should take time to give an excellent spa experience. The place is very clean, modern, and comfortable except for the manicure section which is isolated and so tiny, it does not feel comfortable.

Not happy. Paid $1600 to have dark circles removed from under my eyes. When I left I noticed that one eye still had a bit of darkness and after 2 weeks I still had a dark circle only under one eye. They suggested I spend $600 more to fix the issue. They were not friendly or helpful. During my check up the doctor said that first she did see the darkness under one eye, and then after I said I was not paying $600 to fix it she then said she didn't see what I was talking about and it looked fine to her. The product should have been distributed more in that area. I would never go back as I feel they are dishonest. The doctor even made a jab at my eyebrows that were just done and said they were "not pointy enough". Who asked her?? They could have had a client for life, and now I'll never let anyone I know go back there. Save your money and go somewhere more professional. read more

This review is for skin & body solutions, but especially for the sweet lady Justine martinson. She changed me alot with the skin treatments (with ematrix/ dermabbrasion). She is really professional in her ways of treatment & i can feel it she cares for her patients in the follow up care too. She is honest, helpfull & knowledgeable & sweet as a person too, really nice personality. Its my personal experience, i was new in skin treatments zone, like i have never been to laser or anything before too but she gave me courage & ways to handle the temporary awkward changes on my face that has to happen for the face treatment too. Everything went perfect.as she said... Amazing!!!! I am a bride to be and my bridal party planned a surprise spa date with them and some of my family and closest friends. Nicole and her team did and amazing job. The service was excellent! The experience was incredible. Every employee was friendly and professional. They set up breakfast refreshment and champagne punch. The place was decorated. What a truly amazing and memorable experience! If you are looking for a spa this one is amazing! If you are looking for a cool bridal shower or girls day/night out this is the place to do it at. This spa is amazing, the attention we received as a group was outstanding. The spa was booked as part of a bachlorette party and it was more then we could ever ask for. The bride was in her glory. The spa is very luxurious and make you feel pampered relaxed and refreshed. I had a facial fire and ice done, and a spa pedicure. I have been to the spa twice - the first time for a bridal shower and I had a facial which was amazing. Everyone from the bridal shower enjoyed their services and the owner Nicole organized it really well. The second visit was for eyelash extensions and eyebrow tinting, which looked fantastic and I received a ton of compliments on. The staff is very professional and friendly and the place is beautiful.
