I wish I had seen this site before I contacted this salon. Now I understand why people leave them negative comments. Very rude and unprofessional staff. On September 1st, I sent an email to schedule epilation and asked for the price. They answered me the same day that they could not determine the exact price because it ranges from $125-$350. They made an appointment for me to come on September 9 and then they will tell me the exact price and that I can do the first treatment on the same day. In the evening after work, I saw the email and replied that September 9 suits me and that I will come at the scheduled time. The next day, they replied that I had 4 hours to respond to their email, but since I responded after a few hours, they already made an appointment with another person, and they can only receive me on September 16. I wrote to them, why didn't they tell me that, why didn't they mention the 4-hour deadline for an answer. I asked for a conversation with the owner or manager, to explain to them how unprofessional they are and that this way of doing business is zero. To this day, they have not deigned to answer my email, nor to allow me to speak with the owner. It's a shame that they do so unprofessionally and unorganized. It is unfortunate that such persons are paid for such irresponsibility and discourtesy. Firstly, they don't even know the prices, and secondly, they can't come up with the dates when and how to make an appointment. After my negative rating, the owner sent me this email: "This is the owner. I signed off as the owner when i picked up the conversation 3 emails ago. And if this was my staff you were speaking to this way i would not be so polite. Threats are not welcome here and because of these threats, you are no longer welcome here. Your barrage of 1 star reviews on Google speak volumes to the abuse you hand to businesses. Move on with your search. We will no longer respond to your communication." read more

I recommend this spa to every single lady I discuss my eye brows with. I go in every 3-4 months to work with the eyebrow Goddess Leanna! Seriously won't let anyone touch them except her! Such a friendly and welcoming place! Even kid friendly! My 2 kids are kept busy for my few mins of me time with colouring and books. Run by moms and for moms. Seriously! Go see them! read more

The staff at off the Hook Laser and Spa are extremely unprofessional the staff was asked for a simple quote / estimate for electrolysis and the staff couldn't even do that right the owner Leanna is rude and offensive and outright lies then about what happened. The staff is extremely unprofessional and can't even follow the most basic instructions. Avoid this place they are just horrible! The owner is horrible and refuses to take any responsibility for what she has done and how she has messed things up in this situation. The owner is childish and irresponsible. Over all this business is horribly run and you should avoid it!!! read more

The location is really convenient - right downtown St. Albert. It's in the professional building (think - Cajun House) on the second floor. There is two hour parking in the front lot, or lots of street parking available as well. The rooms where the massage takes place are very strange me to. They are nice and big which is nice - I hate feeling cramped. But they are very bright. The blinds stay open, which lets in a lot of natural light (don't worry, the windows are dark so nobody outside can see in), but it leaves it much too bright and I felt a little exposed. The massage was very good though. She asked the right questions and checked in on me throughout to make sure the pressure was not too much. Prices are reasonable and the staff are all very friendly. The online booking tool is incredibly easy to use and very convenient.

Been going here for almost 2 years now, never had a bad experience. Adrianne is very knowledgeable, friendly and a very professional technician. Jen at reception is always pleasant and any cancelled appointment is never a problem or when I need a urgent one she is on top of things. Lastly, the owner is Leanna is absolutely amazing, she is generous and supportive of the local community. The prices are fair and the service is excellent. I go to Off The Hook for laser and have for a long time. They are impossible to beat. I recently decided to try to re shape my eyebrows(I had a really bad experience while on holiday) the lady who did my eyebrows was absolutely awesome!!! She took her time, and explained things to me. It was not a rush rip rip job.There was tweezing, cutting, and total perfectionism. So I just want to say if you want a perfect eyebrow, go to this place. I've been going to see Adrienne for the last 2 years when I first started getting laser hair removal. I live 30 minutes away and have many options to go and get my treatments done but I can't give her up! She's very knowledgeable and makes me feel very comfortable in being in the most vulnerable position for getting my laser treatment done.
