The location is really convenient - right downtown St. Albert. It's in the professional building (think - Cajun House) on the second floor. There is two hour parking in the front lot, or lots of street parking available as well. The rooms where the massage takes place are very strange me to. They are nice and big which is nice - I hate feeling cramped. But they are very bright. The blinds stay open, which lets in a lot of natural light (don't worry, the windows are dark so nobody outside can see in), but it leaves it much too bright and I felt a little exposed. The massage was very good though. She asked the right questions and checked in on me throughout to make sure the pressure was not too much. Prices are reasonable and the staff are all very friendly. The online booking tool is incredibly easy to use and very convenient.

The massage room was beautiful with dimmable lights . The entryway to the business was gorgeous. There was also complimentary water and candies. You can opt to add a steam for $30 and shower there as well. My hour massage was a full hour (maybe even a few extra minutes) - I hate being shorted on a massage. They offer direct billing (even though my insurance is a jerk and won't). There is a receptionist to greet you and wisely asked if I would like to use the washroom while waiting. I was recommended this place by a few coworkers. My favourite massage therapist is ill and can no longer work. I booked an appointment with this place and was told to book with Kara. Done. First of all the massage started 15 mins late. She took me to my room and had me wait on the bed for that long before she came back. Within 5 mins of her starting she asks me about me sex life. I was very stunned! She didn't even apologize or backtrack, she was totally serious about it. She then proceeds to share inappropriate things about her own and goes into explicit detail. I really didn't know what to say or do at that point so I froze. I went in for a 45 min massage and came out 80 mins later due to her constantly talking and not tracking time. I even told her I had to leave soon in hopes that she'll speed up but didn't happen. It wasn't until I got off the table that she clued in that I needed to leave. The good thing is that she didn't charge me extra but that's about it. She also did not know how to properly navigate her own computer so tracking insurance took forever too. I am still in utter disbelief with my experience. I have never ever experienced unprofessionalism to this extent. I'd understand a bit better if I were a long term client and friend however, I was a FIRST time client. Sad thing is this is one of the owners. I have spoken to a few people who have been there and have said they aren't surprised and have had similar experiences. I guess she does this normally. A former employee of the business also said they are very unsanitary and do not change the bedding in-between clients or sanitize the place. YUCK!
