From the moment we walked in, we were met with an unwelcoming attitude, almost as if our presence was an inconvenience. After waiting nearly 20 minutes for a cup of coffee, my order was made incorrectly. When I politely asked for some cream and clarification on what I had received, I was met with an immediate eye roll and an attitude that was completely unnecessary. I also want to make it clear that we did not visit during a busy or overwhelming time. There were only two customers in the establishment, myself and one other person. So the lack of hospitality and the lengthy wait were even more disappointing. Here's the thing: I can overlook a bad cup of coffee. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What I can't overlook is poor customer service, especially when a customer is simply asking a polite question. I would have gladly accepted the worst cup of coffee with a smile and a kind attitude over a perfectly made drink served with such blatant annoyance. Unfortunately, our family won't be returning or supporting this business again. It's disappointing because a little kindness and basic customer service could have made all the difference.

It would be nice if there were set times posted when it would be. The employee was very apologetic and directed us where another coffee shop was, which also sold ice cream. Win win. Hopefully next time we can try the dessert.

The food is overpriced considering the meh quality, but clearly the owner knows tourist options are fairly limited due to the relative remoteness of the location in the area. If you are looking for a "fancy" restaurant in Broken Bow, this is probably the closest to one we saw during our weekend stay, but it falls far short when even compared to basic restaurants in the relatively close by big city of the DFW Metroplex just a few hours to the South West of the area. Stick with camping food. Whatever you bring to town to cook in your cabin / Air B&B will probably be better than what they have here.
