La Vague. HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED It was a wonderful find. Informal, authentic deli. I ate every meal there over several days after discovering it. The waitress / counter lady was so genuine, helpful and funny.. The osso buco looked delicious, but I did not get there early enough when I returned. I settled for a traditional chicken cooked in cider dish with delicious sauce with bits of apples. and Au gratin potatoes. The unusual combination salad of mango, avocado and tomato with a delicate champagne vinaigrette was light and fresh. I enjoyed it nightly!!!! They also offer a wide variety of terrines, poached salmon, mini pizzas, and a delicious assortment of salads. Dessert was limited to burnt creme but who can complain about that. Many neighborhood people stopped in for "to go" items and a little early evening chat. With just a few tables, it was truly a personal dining experience. The lovely lady and the chef helped me with my French and spoke a little English. A good time was had by all!!! I laughed and laughed. read more
