We quite enjoyed our experience here. I'd say it is a little pricier than other places, but it is a nicer restaurant so it makes sense. This was probably the most expensive meal we had while in Valencia.
Service was great. It wasn't a busy night so there was just one server for the few tables that were there, and we were the first ones of the night. We ordered the Seafood Paella first since we knew it would take 20-30 minutes to prepare. Like many places in Valencia, the paella price is per person. We were a group of 5 so we ordered a 3-person portion. Note that you cannot order just the paella, they also require you to order apps. We got scallops, razor clam, octopus, and cava sangria. While waiting, they brought olives and bread with a tomato dip. I tried to ask whether the bread was included but I guess they pretended not to understand and just answered with something else. Not a big deal as I expected them to charge for it anyway, but still -1 star for the dodginess lol. It was just 1 euro/person.
The scallops were yummy drenched in a delicious garlic sauce. The razor clams seemed slightly overcooked but it was still good. The octopus came on a bed of potatoes, but the octopus was extremely salty, even when eaten with the potatoes. The paella was delicious and our server came by to make sure we got the best part - the socarrat. read more
