They were quick in response, got here between the time they advised me he would get to my house. I requested tv mounting got quoted a good price. Then got charged something different due to using different nails. I like being advised before hand of any possible add charges so that's why 4 stars. Just wanted to get my tv mounted right away so didn't really make a big deal. Took approximately 15min-20min. read more

OVERPRICED! AND POOR JOB Absolutely terrible experience with LA Tech guys. They screwed up my walls and charge more than Geek Squad. They act like they can't hide wires in the wall so they have an easier job. Call Best Buy before using these guys. read more

LA Tech Guys are the best!!! They are professional, friendly, kind, and extremely attentive and detail oriented. I guarantee that you will not regret booking them. I called on a Sunday evening and they returned my call within an hour and came out to my apartment the next day. They were very respectful and offered to remove their shoes inside the house. They helped me mount my 55" tv as well as install my Ring floodlight camera on my patio wall. They did a superb job hiding the wires and asked me for my input every step of the way. They even helped me hang my wall mirror when I asked last minute. Can't speak highly enough about these guys. I will definitely be referring them to my friends. read more

I requested a quote to mount a 65 inch TV on my drywall on a Saturday (just after Thanksgiving). I really appreciated that I had a response within just under 10 minutes. The price quoted also was the best out of all who responded. It worked out that I live near enough that after an hour, he arrived (earlier than he initially estimated too). He asked how we wanted our TV positioned, took measurements, assembled our mount, found the stud, secured the mount on the wall, placed the brackets on the TV, and my TV is up secured on the wall all in the span of 15 minutes after he arrived. LA tech guys came in professionally and on time. Their attention to detail and promise to follow through with each of my request made for and a great experience. I felt like they were listening and understood my vision and were patient with me as we measured and marked each spot for each hanging project, television, or other projects I threw their way as they were going. They were willing to negotiate and we're very competitive on pricing compared to others in our area and we're available next day for my project. Take a look at the photos of the lanterns they hung for me; I needed help both with the laser to find the perfect metal as well as assistance with measuring a zigzag formation to get the desired effect. Saro and Alex did a great job mounting my TV, Soundbar and surround sound speakers. They worked fast, mounted everything evenly and had all the supplies needed. They were able to help with a tricky install - surround sound speakers with a receiver in a different room. Highly recommend -- fast and friendly! From scheduling the appointment to hanging the TV, Saro and the team made it easy! After a few texts, Saro showed up same day and had the TV mounted. Saro took time to understand the exact placement we wanted and provided guidance based on the TV and mount type we had. These guys are great! They not only hung up my flatscreen but some months later I was having problems with my surround sound and they sent their A/V guy over same day and he did some troubleshooting and even google research to find the software in my brand new Samsung was messing up the HDMI audio out. I hired LA Tech Guys to mount a 65" TV in the living room, a 49" tv and a large mirror in the bedroom. Saro was very responsive from the start and only needed about one days notice. They arrived on time and the project lasted about an hour. They also offered cable management and that was a plus because cables can ruin a perfectly mounted home entertainment setup. Just moved to the area and was looking to get my bedroom tv setup. They answered immediately and were able to get someone out within an hour and arrived wearing masks and offered to remove their shoes. The whole installation took about 30 mins and asked throughout the process if I was ok with height and positioning on the wall as well as if I wanted to hide the wires (extra $20). Overall great service and would definitely recommend read more

I recently contacted Mar Vista Security and Intercom Systems about upgrading our call box. My…read moreinitial plan involved spending around $3000 on new hardware and installation to go from land line to cell-based, plus dealing with an ongoing monthly bill of over $50. But Jack turned that around completely with some fantastic advice over the phone. Instead of pushing for an expensive upgrade, Jack recommended switching our land line provider from AT&T to Spectrum. This simple change would save us over $300 per month without needing to touch any of our existing equipment--and he didn't charge a dime for the consultation! We're talking $30 a month for a business landline with Spectrum versus the whopping $360 we were paying AT&T. Thanks to his pointer, Spectrum is coming out tomorrow to handle the switch and finally rid us of that overpriced service. What really sets Jack apart is that he was the only one out of several companies I contacted who actually suggested this smart solution. The others either ghosted me or tried to upsell unnecessary work. Jack's honesty and willingness to help, even if it meant no immediate business for him, speak volumes about his integrity. If we ever decide to upgrade the system or add cameras in the future, Mar Vista will be my first call. Highly recommend--5 stars all the way!
