We stopped in during the grand opening after a show at Turntable. The staff greeted us right away. The decor catches your eye with bright, festive colors that create a fun atmosphere. The chips and salsa stood out from what you typically get at Mexican restaurants. The salsa had a subtle spicy kick that woke up my taste buds. We ordered the Nachos Locos for our meal: grilled steak with jalapeños, topped with a generous amount of melted cheese. This dish delivers on flavor. And it was perfect for us to share. They weren't serving beer or alcohol during our visit, but I respect their decision to open their doors and start serving customers. I'll be back for a margarita!

This is a place for very good basic Mexican fare - tacos, enchiladas, etc. Everything we had was a step above many of the local places. I had a lunch combo with a crunchy taco and an enchilada. Ground beef was flavorful and not dry (a pet peeve for me at lots of Mexican spots). Enchilada sauce was tasty. Hubby had Arroz vaquero, a dish with chicken, beef, shrimp mushrooms and cheese sauce over rice (see photo). He said it was very tasty. Flour tortillas were fresh and appeared to have been made in house. Fresh chips and salsa. We will definitely go back. I think this will be our go-to for basic Mexican fare. Next time, we'll try the margaritas and guac

We tried this place for the first time and LOVED it! The food was hot & fresh, the complimentary salsa and chips were incredible, and the service was great. Reasonably priced too. I definitely recommend. We will be back!

Great food, great service and downtown ambiance! A nice restaurant to sit outside or enjoy a cocktail inside.

After dinner at The Dining Room at RH, we were looking for a place to go for a night cap. Specially…read morea place within a mile or two that has a full bar. Naturally, I pulled up the Yelp app to search for something open nearby for recommendations. Turns out Delicia is one of my friend's boyfriend's favorite restaurant in Broad Ripple. They both frequent the restaurants in that area as they live in the neighborhood so that's definitely saying something and I can see why based on the vibe and atmosphere! We were only there for drinks (which were amazing) and they were definitely worth making another trip for. I ordered the "Pulparindo" which is slightly spicy tamarind vodka, fresh mango puree, raw sugar simple, lime juice and a yummy tajin rim. I would have had more of it wasn't last call when we placed our order. Another popular choice was the "FIRE 'N' Ice" made with el charro jalapeño infused reposado tequila, hibiscus I basil I habanero reduction, tres chiles infused ice ball. Beautiful presentation with all the drinks. Our waitress was great and attentive. I also really liked how I felt instantly in a better mood in that space and I will be going back again for dinner soon.

The service was quick and staff were friendly. We LOVED the queso and Johnny Cakes for appetizers. Everyone's meal was delicious and well portioned. The ingredients feel fresh and intentional with every dish. Overall, I wouldn't consider this restaurant a "must try" but a very solid option! If you're in town and looking for a more upscale experience with a Caribbean/Spanish cuisine then I would recommend this spot.

It was a cool-looking restaurant and felt like a cozy spot. My food came out looking amazing, and it tasted great. I got the Mac n Cheese Donuts and the Grilled Crispy Chicken Burrito. My issue was mainly with the service. From the time my friend and I were seated, it took 15 minutes for us to be greeted, and we had been sitting there for more than 20 minutes before we received our drinks and had a chance to order our food. This was during the early afternoon with very little foot traffic, so I personally don't see why there was such a delay in what could've been a smooth experience. I also asked for a to-go box but was never brought one, so I had to leave my leftovers behind in order to walk to work and make it there on time. I would try this place again, but maybe next time I would sit at the bar to make the interaction quicker and easier.

WOW! This is my new favorite restaurant!…read more I grew up in Southern California; Mexican food is comfort food. As a new(ish) vegan, I was resigned to cooking my own, whenever I craved Mexican food... but at Tlaolli, I was spoiled for choice! I ended up trying the hibiscus taco (clever, creative, with a wonderful melding of spices and a punch of bright acidity), the tofu mole taco (smoky and creamy, with well-balanced spices), and the Nonono tamale (no meat, no dairy, no gluten), which was roasted poblano peppers and soy chorizo with black bean paste and corn masa (a bit dry, but super flavorful and great chew). And there was housemade tamarindo, which I have always loved, and it wasn't over-sweetened, which I loved even more. Tart and bright and refreshing! His Goatness the Hubbins got a mixed platter of vegan tacos (I was proud of him), and dad got meat items, which he enjoyed (the owner let us know all meats are all natural, with no hormones). And we all shared salsa and chips, which was smooth and well-flavored, with lots of spices but only mild heat. (I could have drunk the stuff.) Atmosphere is intimate and cozy, with a few tables inside the colorful cafe and a few painted picnic tables outside. Everything is clean and tidy, including the restroom. Service was friendly, sociable, and passionate about the food they're creating. Seriously, I love this place. Can't wait to try more of the vegan menu options! (I fell on my food so fast I totally failed to get pictures... but the pics at https://www.tlaolli.org are accurate!)
