It's a go-to spot for a lot of farmers and people who work in the ag industry, and the location is easy to access. The drive-through also makes it very convenient, especially when you're trying to grab something quick during the day. The only downside is that they close early, I believe around 4, so you have to plan ahead. Overall, a solid four stars. Sorry, I forgot to take a picture this time, but I'll take one next time and update the review.

8/10 I ordered the…read moreSupercharger and the Belair, and overall both sandwiches were solid, filling and generously packed. Starting with the Supercharger, this was easily the standout of the two. It's loaded with roast beef, bacon, turkey, ham, salami, pepperoncini, tomatoes, red onions, gouda cheese, and chipotle aioli on a ciabatta roll. They definitely don't skimp on the meat, which makes it super satisfying. The combination of the soft ciabatta and cheese worked really well together and balanced out the heaviness of the meats. My only complaint is that it could've used a bit more sauce, something like extra mustard or mayo would've taken it to the next level. Still, a strong 8.5/10. The Belair was decent but didn't quite hit the same level. It came with turkey breast, bacon, gouda cheese, spring mix, tomatoes, red onions, pepperoncini, and chipotle aioli on fresh sliced sourdough. Ours actually came with American cheese instead of gouda, which slightly changed the flavor profile. It was a good sandwich overall, but noticeably drier, especially with the sourdough, so it definitely needed more sauce to bring everything together. I'd give it a 7.2/10. Service was fast and efficient, which I appreciated. The ambiance stood out too, it has a cool retro gas station vibe that gives the place some personality and makes it feel unique. Staff was friendly, and the overall experience was smooth.

We finally got the chance to check it out. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The Prunedale Market is located along side the highway 101 freeway in the small town of Prunedale. It just takes a few long right turns to get there. Parking is easy and accessible out in the front parking lot. From the front, the market does not look like a popular BBQ spot. It looks like a simple small market store to grab quick snacks and drinks. Once inside there is a BBQ and deli section to your right. A small dining area is to your left. The decor is old fashioned and quaint. The 2 gentlemen greet you with friendly hospitality. We ordered the Tri tip sandwich, half slab of ribs which includes 2 potatoes and a cup of corn chowder. The pit master/owner Martin, who use to work for Original Joe's, was kind enough to also include a quarter chicken leg, a sausage, and extra ribs. It was so much food for our party of 3. Everything was delicious and hearty. The Tri tip sandwich was scrumptious with the flaming Fritos adding a nice crunchy texture and kick with every bite. The ribs were juicy and smokey. Potatoes complemented very well with the rest of the meat and chicken. Corn chowder was so tasty and creamy. I did not know corn chowder was that good. Overall we enjoyed our experience at the Prunedale Market. The staff were super nice and accommodating. They even offered for our son to grab some free ice cream to go. We politely declined. The prices were very reasonable. All that food fed us for the next 2 days. Lol. We hope to be back when we are in the area with other friends and family.

My son really enjoyed his Caesar salad wrap. He said the wrap itself was incredibly soft, the croutons were crunchy, and the chicken was warm, tender, and flavorful. The Caesar dressing was spot on with just the right amount. He usually adds extra dressing to Caesar wraps, but this one didn't need a thing. The service was excellent. We originally asked about the Caesar salad wraps since we didn't see it on the menu, and the cashier kindly let us know they still make it, which was a pleasant surprise. The dining area is in the back of a bodega/liquor store, with a countertop where you can dine at. I saw the "Mediterranean food" sign up, so I had to try it, given so few options on the peninsula. The majority of the menu is Mexican fare, so come here for that too. The lamb slices were the star of the show, they were made and cooked perfectly. A little crisp, very meaty and savory. The rice was made like traditional Mexican rice and the salad was made before my eyes, with radishes, cucumbers, broccoli and other vegetables. It's pricey for halal food, but worth it.
