We loved this little place in Willits. The service was excellent and the bread was refilled and served hot I love warm bread! The dips were delicious they were Basil pesto, Extra Virgin olive oil, their house made red sauce Sugo Sauce and balsamic vinegar. We were half way through the bread and dips before I took those pictures. We were getting into the second round of bread when our entrees came. My husband enjoyed the Spaghetti with Creamy Pesto! My mother-in-law loved the Penne with Creamy Pesto! The creamy pesto was different from others I've had more of a buttery pesto not a white sauce pesto it was very fresh and light not heavy!! I had the amazing Rosa Sauce, which is the Sugo sauce mixed with Alfredo loved love loved it on my fluffy creamy cheese ravioli which tasted homemade!! All Pasta was topped with Fresh Romano Cheese it was perfect and I didn't need to add anything more very balanced and flavorful!! Love that they also serve Frey Wine. The atmosphere is basic; plastic red and white checked tablecloths and giant tv. Could be upgraded for sure but go for the food!! Gluten Free options available like Gluten Free Gnocchi and Chickpea Pasta. Plenty for the meat eaters too. We made a point of getting the pasta selections this time because we don't have a sit down Italian restaurant in our town anymore. But tons of Pizza options. I'm a huge fan of sauces and pasta as you can see from other reviews. We're definitely going back for more soon!! It's a small restaurant so if you have a large party you might want to make a reservation.

We've been looking for an authentic Italian restaurant in our area for quite some time and this restaurant is really a little hidden gem . The owner/chef came out and talked with us and asked how we liked our dinners and my Sicilian husband raved about his delicious raviolis topped with freshly made Alfredo sauce. And I really enjoyed the cannoli dessert topped with savory cherry sauce. The waitress was so friendly and very attentive. We enjoyed the whole experience very much! We will definitely be back soon!!

We arrived on a Saturday night and the place was fairly busy. The host was very kind and respectful. I ordered a Caprese salad, which was ok. The tomatoes were fresh and the cheese tasked ok. I was a bit disappointed, but it wasn't a fancy dish to begin with The pene also tasted a bit unflavored. The bread that comes with Pene was good. Overall, it is an ok food and a good place to eat. Nothing to complain.

I was invited to try this place by a friend who heard great things, looking at it from the outside I was skeptical. This is a prime example of 'Don't judge a book by its cover'. There was ample seating with some interesting pictures and art. Our hostess Terri greeted us with her Long Island accent and I was instantly transported back to my youth. She was forthcoming, open, honest and knowledgeable about the menu. The meatballs were giant and hearty, full of flavor. The bread was perfect and came with great dipping sauces. The Sugo with extra artichoke heats was a big hit. I chose penne Puttanesca extra spicy and I cannot rave enough about it. The only thing I missed was the cannoli, which I will break my no sweets diet. I'll be back to try the pizza too, Terri said it was the closest to a New York pie you could get. Give this place a try.

This place was AMAZING! We went for pasta dinner before a half marathon at Avenue of the Giants. They brought us great free bread while we waited and the plates of pasta were huge and all delicious. We got puttanesca with meatballs, arrabbiata with sausage, and shrimp scampi. The puttanesca was especially good. Everything was made to order. Our waitress was phenomenal and very attentive and funny. After the meal the chef actually came out to talk to us and asked who had ordered what and if we had enjoyed it. We weren't going to get dessert but ended up splitting a slice of cheesecake which was also so delicious. So glad we stopped here! We had an awesome time! FYI there's a credit card surcharge so pay cash if you can!

The last slice 3 were taken home, 1 made it back...good stuff.

Could i get pasta con sarde at la siciliana? what about pasta with puttanesca sauce? sicilian food is better than that from any other part of italy. i guess my question is 'do you provide food with anchovies?' i've eaten there two or three times

Using this outside entrance saves walking down a couple long hallways if you went in the main entrance. See photo for hours currently posted on the entry door. We could have timed our arrival better if we'd known this. Food: Very tasty food, well prepared and presented. Very fair prices. Two complete meals are available to choose from for lunch and dinner, typically one with meat and one vegetarian/vegan--appx $8. We had today's vegan choice which included stuffed zucchini blossoms (really, and wonderful!), rice pilaf, and a great tossed green salad. A sheet was available listing the choices to be served each meal for the month. Evidently, a salad bar is normally available as an option, but it was not set up when we arrived right at the start of the dinner hours. It would be nice if the monthly menu sheet were somehow on line so those of us not normally in the hospital could check what is offered any specific day or meal (in case what is offered does not appeal to us!).

I went about 8 months ago and the waiter that took my order, brought me the wrong ramen bowl. It was still delicious, just unfortunate that he wasn't really listening. And then I went a few months ago and was disappointed because the waitress had just received multiple to go orders and she told me I would have to come back. At the time I was a bit frustrated and decided I wouldn't go back. I'll be honest I was a bit hangry. I just got in town and gave it another chance! So glad I did! I ordered the Tonkatsu ramen. Delicious. Savory. Exactly what I wanted on a rainy dark day! I've also had the Ford Ranch Filet mignon ramen, which was also savory and warming. I didn't have the experience of too much chimichurri. I always get the spice bomb. I'm glad I went back! Still my favorite place to go to when I get into town! Thank you!!!

Shocked to find something this good in Willits. Could not tell it was open though. There is no "open" sign and the light on top of the door was not obvious. I spent 30 seconds peering through the window, and apparently the server was waving at me, but I could not see inside. I only happened to try the door which was unlocked. I'm not saying this as a boomer. I've lived in a lot of places and eaten at a lot of restaurants. Give it a shot, you will not be disappointed.
