GREAT PLACE FOR A DRINK AND A SHRIMP COCKTAIL! This place is a tough one to rate. There are lots of great things about this restaurant... yet, it can be hit or miss depending on the visitor. The service, drinks, and cocktails were all great! The ambiance is overall nice with the exception of the live in-door mariachi music with the musicians still connected to a GD amplified system blasting everyone's ear drums with sounds over 100 decibels. Bring ear plugs if you do not want bloody ear trauma and are visiting on a Thursday/Friday (or whatever day they have live music). I thought it was absolutely ridiculous that a live band, in such a small sized restaurant, be connected to an amplified system. The volume was horrendous! Yup, not for me obviously. So, I ate, drank, and scrammed outta there as fast as I could to try and save my ears from experiencing irreversible hearing damage. read more

It usually always has people in there even on a Tuesday or Thursday, but the food is pretty good and I think it's a great deal to get a Michelada with some cooked shrimp on top and free chips nice waitstaff and they're pretty fast. I have gone multiple mornings at 8am to have breakfast, like their hours of operation says open at 8am , and they are closed still, or even one time on a Saturday they said no chef in yet to cook so idk if this is always the issue but if yes they should change their hours of operation on their door to say open at 10am not 8am. read more

There is absolutely no reason why this place shouldn't have more stars. The restaurant is beautiful, the service is on point, the kitchen is even more on point! The food is amazing! I was invited here by my nephew and his girlfriend for late night drinks. The ambience was totally casual but you can make it whatever you want. We had just came from a high school football game (my husband is a coach) so we were super casual. But others were dressed in date attire. They had a trio singing popular Spanish songs. They pretty good in my opinion. The service was great but we had to wait until in between songs to make our orders or point on the menu but we didn't mind. This place was a vibe! My son has seen this business a few times and has been curious about it for a while. I am glad I brought him in but as we walked out her said "I think this is more for adults". The food was decent for a spot that is more of a bar. My chilaquiles were dry and half of the tortilla chips were missing sauce. The egg was perfect though. We came on a busy night with a big group to celebrate our graduates. The staff was super accommodating & to the other graduates celebrating as well. I also ordered the chilaquiles which I got a craving for and they were so filling. Honestly the food can be shared with two people since it's so much. I loved all the food and would love to visit soon. Service was great. The servers were so attentive and had such an amazing attitude. I only come to this place for the food, it is amazing! However, the service is just ok if you're not a male with $$. You cannot ever have a conversation because the music is so loud, and thats not even when the live bands are there, it is impossible to the hear anything anyone is saying including the waitress. The atmosphere is pleasant and suitable for families, their menu has a "kids menu" section. One of the things I noticed first was the cleanliness. No mess anywhere especially on the floor of the booths (a typical location to find messes). Our server was very polite and offered us drinks and an appetizer (warm fresh chips & salsa) right away. She returned several minutes later to take our orders. I had the "Guerrero Style" Shrimp Tacos. 3 spicy shrimp tacos on corn tortillas with melted cheese and pico de gallo. They were excellent! You only get 2, and it's a soft shell doubled up. But the toppings were overflowing and I couldn't really eat it like a taco. Used a fork for my second one. They were definitely filling, tho. I ordered the michelada of course and it was nice and spicy but it was so big I couldn't drink all of it to myself so I shared it. I also got ceviche and it was amazing!
