Not sure about their 15-minute service pledge. It took them at least that long to take our order for dinner. And the guy didn't come by to check onnus unless we flagged him down. I started with the halloumi cheese sticks and a glass of merlot. The cheese sticks were about half the size of an average mozzarella stick, but they were pretty good. The Merlot was mellow and smooth... much like how I felt after a few glasses of it. For dinner I ordered the chicken schnitzel any side of spinach and kale. The veggies were completely unseasoned.... nothing that a little (ok, a lot) of salt couldn't remedy. The schnitzel was delightfully crispy and perfectly cooked, and topped with fried capers (which were great, and I hate capers!) but again, no seasoning. For dessert I ordered the lemon tart (which, strangely, was delivered with my entree). It was the perfect balance of tart and sweet, and otherwise a great way to end the meal. Great food; painfully slow service. Only dine here if you have time to kill. read more

Quick stop here in transit to Denmark. Good over medium eggs, bacon, potatoes, and tomatoes. I wasn't crazy about the sausage. It had a "gamey" taste that I didn't like much. The service was good. My waiter was friendly and got my food out quickly. The atmosphere was nice and they played great music as well. Overall, a decent spot while you're in the airport. read more

We're looking for a quick bite in Heathrow Airport. We don't expect much from an airport restaurant. We all ordered hamburgers. My youngest twins ordered the kids menu burger. It was 5 pounds. Very reasonable. I ordered the burger. It was good and flavorful. The food was very much American with fries. The fries were crunchy. I saw someone ordering the steak. For 24 pounds, I don't think it was worth it or very appealing. Stick to the burgers here and it should be a four stars. I can't vouch for anything other foods here. For Thinsulin readers, there's plenty of green light choices. read more

My latest discovery in the New Terminal 2 and until further notice, my fav dining spot in the entire terminal. My colleague had the La Salle Burger, I had the club sandwich. The burger was, by all accounts, very good. The Club Sandwich was nothing less than spectacular. I washed it down with a glass of the house Sauv Blanc - not brilliant to be honest but I'd happily forgive anything for the food. Definitely worth a visit. read more

This is a aesthetically beautifully designed restaurant with a stunning back bar. I never expect too much from any food service in an airport environment. But I must say they did a spritely job. I had eggs, grilled tomatoes,mushrooms, potatoes, sausage and toast.Simple enough but tasty and served quickly and hot. The staff were very pleasant and sincerely wanted to be of service. It was a treat to grab a nice bite to eat before a 16 hour flight. read more

The food is okay, not the best, but good. So two stars? I hear you ask! Well..... The service is unfriendly to the point of being rude! The staff don't seem to treat each other particularly well, the bus boy was the only one who asked about our food, and smiled at us. When he dropped some plates the other staff just looked at him and carried on chatting, none of them seemed to want to help him or clean up the area to make it more pleasant for the guests. Honestly I left before ordering dessert, even though their menu looked amazing because of the poor service!! I only tipped because they share, otherwise I wouldn't have, and that would have been the third time in my life not leaving a tip which is saying something!!! Personally I wouldn't go there again. Looked like a nice place but looks are deceiving. Terrible cut of badly overcooked steak and basic fast food frozen fries at a high price. Too lazy clean table or to wash cutlery, only butter knives available. Bad even for airport standards, 1 star would not come back. read more

It's a great restaurant for me, service is good and the atmosphere is as fancy as you can ask for. Good to relax here before that eye draining flight. I was amazed with the food portions, it's a bit pricey but it's worth it! I tried the La Salle Burger with foie gras, the truffle mayo is WOW, it has real truffle bits. I'm a bit of a mayo hater but this was just outstanding! It's worth the visit especially if you're in T2. Not bad at all. It's good for business visitors and families if you're tired of the same luxury airline lounge you get, I like walking around airports and this restaurant is particularly close to a lot of gates. They also have tv's inside and near the restaurant which allows you to check your boarding gate. Take note, it's particularly French cuisine but it also tastes very English somehow so I'd say this is a hybrid restaurant. read more

Usually my husband and I do not have a chance to eat in an airport as our layover is usually not that long but today it was. I had a hamburger that was cooked very well and my husband had A French club sandwich. The waitress was very attentive and the pricing was competitive. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes. Not only was I not served I was not even acknowledged Not a hi, good morning or I will be with you from the two bartenders. Both walked by me a few times and served others who came in after me but were sitting closer to where they were standing and talking. Reviewing based on the fact that it is an airport restaurant. Far better than those in the US. Great options and attentive bartenders. Beautiful atmosphere and very welcoming. Food (duck with new potatoes and peppercorn sauce and the king prawn salad) were very good for airports. Not wonderful but very good. Well priced... duck under $20 at an airport seems unheard of so it's well worth the price! Drink sizes are great for the price! read more

I quite liked this place. Although it's pricy (as is all airport food) I was satisfied & don't feel I was ripped off for the price! I had a angus beef burger topped with duck. Chicken liver terrine with rye & caraway bread and vegetable chutney was excellent. That deserved the stars. Took 8 minutes for anyone to come over, 2 more minutes and I would have left. The place wasn't busy btw at the time. Wondering if I got seated in a deadzone because I see the waiter roaming around having a chat with the other staff but hasn't come by to check in even once. Really too bad because it's in a great location. Been waiting for someone to come by to pay my bill. Sigh! The people behind the bar seem pretty good but alas I'm not at the bar. :-( read more

Service was way too slow for an airport restaurant. One table near us left before their food arrived and we waited 20 minutes for our daughter to get her meal after we received ours, then we had to go ask for it so we could eat as a family. By the ti.e her meal arrived ours was cold. read more

We were able to use a coupon for a rather cheap and filling breakfast here before our flight back to the US. Both orders of eggs benedict were quite good, although mine came with spinach that was a bit tough and hard to cut. The flavors were there though. As with all airport food, without a coupon, the food is a bit pricey, but it's not unreasonable. I would definitely go there again if I have the chance. read more

Seems like they are out of everything. Ordered a cheese plate, and it was served without any biscuits or bread. Finally they brought me bread after a request. They were out of biscuits. They were also out of peppermint tea. This is on top of a long list of things they announced they were or of when I arrived. Not recommended. Service was indifferent and a bit slow. read more
