Whose idea was it to turn this place into a music venue!? Absolute genius! This is a great addition to Tucson!! Attended a Halloween event and it was an absolute blast. Outdoor area is nice and cozy with lots of seating. Bartenders are friendly. Drink prices are reasonable. Bathroom was clean. So happy to have this in Tucson now!!!!

First time here. Chapel transomed into a concert venue. Came here for a candlelight concert and it was nice. They have 2 bars inside drink costs average about $15. They have street parking all around, or you can advance purchase to park onsite ($15.58 cost when I did it).

    Fabulous acoustics

La Rosa is a new, welcoming live music venue in Tucson. The Benedictine has been transformed without losing the architectural character of the space, and the programming has been solid. The acoustics are fantastic, and there really isn't a bad seat in the house. For most shows, the front and patio bars + taco bar open 1.5 hours prior to the show. Service is quick and friendly. David Slutes & team have created space our community will enjoy for years to come.

Love this venue. I can leave a concert there and not have my ears ringing. It is so smartly designed. There's plenty of room to mingle and not be smashed up by people. The lighting is great and the staff are nice.

What an amazing and beautiful venue! Since it used to be a church, the acoustics and lighting projections are just perfect. They have 3 bars (one called The Confessionary, a cute one-person bar), a front bar with a balcony, and a spacious bar- patio in the back. They also had a taco bar in the outdoor patio. The bathrooms are gender-neutral, a very clever touch! Great place for events.

MIss Olivia and the Interlopers is a great local band! Find them and become a fan for sure.

WOW! This is an amazing new music venue for Tucson. The venue is wonderful for any and all music I have seen here. Been open 4 months and I've been 4 times now. The cocktails at the bar are tasty and so unique so that is also great. They now have a restaurant next door and allow you to come and go btwn the two places which is very nice. I've yet to try the food but I sure will soon. Great bar staff too!

If we could give 6 stars to this new venue, we would. Honestly, it's now our favorite spot to enjoy music. It is gorgeous. Stunning. And there is absolutely NO bad spot to stand! Recently, we saw two of our favorite bands, Bay Ledges and LEISURE. The show was sensational and the sound was epic. Also, because this was a former monastery, the architecture allows individuals to roam in and out of the main room, venture to the multiple bars, bathroom, and feel extremely comfortable. The patio bar is beautiful and quintessential Tucson, with beautiful desert-western decor. We invited a big group of friends to this show and every single one of them was so impressed and planned to buy tickets to many more shows. Also, every person we interacted with, security, bartenders, and employees were friendly, considerate and outstanding. We are SO thrilled this new venue was created in such a breathtaking, and historic spot. So many unique and outstanding bands are scheduled, we can't wait to head back.

Fantastic venue!!! Much better than the last mass I caught there. Went to see Miss Olivia and the Interlopers and wow what a show! The music was fantastic, lighting was wonderful, and I even got in for confession! Everything was wonderful except the pizza out on the patio, a few of us got sliced and we were not fans. Maybe they were sitting too long but they could have been better, but as far as venue... 5 stars!!

Be-a-U-tifal. This is a church converted into a venue space. I saw the Format just this week and it was amazing. Fantastic acoustics and atmosphere. Really friendly staff. They also have lots of beverage and food options, and a good size outdoor courtyard and bar. And bonus, good bathrooms. If you know, you know.

I am overall very pleased and impressed with my first trip to this new venue called La Rosa. I had heard good things and I am glad sing its praises as well . This is a beautiful new venue to join Tucsons vibrant scene, and it is housed in the historical Benedictine Monastery off of country club. I got to see the beloved local turned national duo of Ryanhood and it was just stellar. It was a seated show and we did general admission but were still comfortable and had no problem getting seat. There are two bars and although a little bit of a line.. still friendly service and reasonable drink prices. Two of the house cocktails (Neon Prophet ..delish btw) were 13$ each . Note that it is a cashless establishment! Nice patio, plenty of restrooms and good security around. Also note that parking is tricky, while there is some on site and encouraged to pre purchase , watch for signage in the neighborhood to avoid a ticket. We chose ride share and that was easy. Also their website is easy to buy tickets on and it seems like they have lots of great shows coming up! I'm definitely excited for this new hot spot! And don't miss on the tacos out back!

Super cute bar amazing staff from the point of check-in to the bar. Mainly cocktails, beer and wine. You might see a couple of small plates of nuts or olives nothing major. The vibe was ridiculously cool absolutely loved it. The music was amazing. We were considered preferred customers with our tickets and asked to sit at the bar. No questions asked the owner/manager even said, "The bar is probably better place to sit! " Awesome night out thank you so much. This was a treat!

I was disappointed that I didn't hear more Christmas music, but I guess I should've went to the Charlie Brown Christmas show for that. The performers were extremely talented, and the host did a good job too. I got a hot chocolate, which was okay, as well as the mixed nuts, which were also okay. My large party also tried the popcorn, and it was a bit stale. I was saddened to see that there are no longer charcuterie boards on the menu, leaving only and truly "small bites" that don't really hit the spot. The chocolate covered pretzels were the only thing I ate, which I would order again. I really like the century room , I just hope they make revisions to the menu to really make it the whole experience!

You know you have escaped the evil clutches of the heartless, money-grabbing mainstream industry…read morewhen a venue freely lets patrons walk in with backpacks full of booze and distribute it with their friends. I usually keep to just flasking it to Solar culture, but the lax, BYOB closed-container policy creates a unique house party concert vibe without the hours of standing around while your friends try to make their music equipment work properly. Although its not to far removed from such an experience since Solar culture is primarily an arthouse, doesn't have the greatest soundsystem and setup you will ever see, and I think for the most part the workforce and performers are as high as the patrons. I have dealt with a share of long waits between sets and all-to-average sound from Deerhoof, Voxtrot, Architecture in Helsinki, and the like. You also might have to bring a pair of binoculars to a show if you get there late to a packed house because of its awkward long and narrow build. There are great views of the band because of the raised stage, but once it gets past half capacity you might have to barter your way up closer with some of the cans of PBR you have in your Jansport. I was also permanently mentally scared by this place when Death From Above 1979 canceled their show there the day of. They never came back, and now they are gone. I can't help but think of how excited I was for that show (more then any other to date) and how heart-broken I was whenever I think of this place. *goes to cry beneath his desk*
