We are staying at GSLE for a week, we eat at La Roca daily for breakfast and had dinner this evening - dinner as great !! Food was served in an elegant presentation and quick service - breakfast is hit or miss - we typically get reservations everyday but it can still take over an hour to get food - this week the breakfast has been good but service is spotty - Elaint is great - as a breakfast server!!! Ambiance is nice and the best views!

Came here for dinner one night. The restaurant is beautiful with a gorgeous view of the water. The place was pretty dead. We were the only ones for close to an hour. The service was good. Prices were mixed. Some of the meats seemed way too high, but other items were reasonable. Started with the skirt steak appetizer. It was "ok." Some of the ingredients didn't seem to mix well. For dinner I had the fresh catch of the day with a pea puree. It was excellent! All those ingredients blended very nicely and made for a tasty dish. Highly recommend! Wish we had saved room for dessert but overall I could see us eating here again.

I thought this place was just alright. We came for dinner. We had reservations in advance. It is located on the Grand Solmar property, which is kind of out of the way for anyone in Cabo since it's "lands end". The service was wonderful. The atmosphere outside was lovely since you can't beat the beach and the waves. As for the food, I wasn't such a big fan--esp for the price. - We got bread w different salsas to start. The bread was just okay. Salsas/spreads were nice though. - They gave us a mushroom amusebouche, which was also just okay. (Sorry. I'm not a downer... I think bc I come from a very metropolitan city where food is life, my expectations for food are very high.) - Beet salad - this was interesting. Some pieces of beet were incredibly salty. And then some pieces were really sour. And some were incredibly salty and sour. The flavors were inconsistent. Each bite was kind of filled w anticipation of fear that it'd be a bite of saltiness or intense sourness. We couldn't finish it bc it was just too overpowering. - grilled cheese starter- this is literally 3 triangle slices of cheese in green sauce served w 3 tortillas. The tortillas were great. The rest of the appetizer was meh. - jumbo shrimp: this came w 6 pieces of shrimp, a slice/scoop of goat cheese, and your choice of mushroom, asparagus, or veggies. I opted for mushroom. The shrimp wasn't huge, but it wasn't small. It was like eating butter garlic shrimp at any other restaurant. Mushroom was okay. I'm not a fan of goat cheese, so no comment there. - charcoal catch of the day - this was tuna for today. It was... (Sorry) just okay. Kind of dry. I also came here for breakfast. - The bagel and lox was not bad. The salmon was very overpowering but the bagel was good. - stuffed chili was ... alright. Again, nothing spectacular. - Squash enchiladas: tasted like a normal enchilada. - tacos mananero: I thought this would be tacos, but it's actually like your standard breakfast burrito. Pretty good and filling. One of the better breakfast dishes. - fresh fruit: pineapple, melons, papaya, and blueberries. This is a must. For health and digestion. Lol. - eggs motulenos style: this was actually pretty good. Nice crispy tortilla below and eggs w yolk to pop on top. - coffee: good - papaya smoothie w milk: this tasted like Lucky Charms cereal blended into milk. So it was yummy but it didn't feel healthy or detox-y. Hahahaha. So overall... 3 stars. 5 for view and nice service. 2 for food/taste and 1 for cost relative to food for dinner. 3 for breakfast food/taste and cost.

The food pictures show the amazing presentation. We loved everything given to us. I can't complain at all. The view is impeccable. The service was amazing. Since dinner was delicious, we came back for the buffet breakfast. Both time, prices were reasonable. It really doesn't hurt that you could literally feel the ocean breeze on your face.

Service is fast ocean views are perfect and quality of food is perfect we were in awe of how good the flavor and details were in the food. Staff was so attentive and we would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back just because this restaurant.

Food was delicious and scenery was stunning. We stayed at the resort and we routinely visited this restaurant. Ocean views, staff wears a mask.

Breakfast with friends - chiliquilles in front.

I've eaten here probably 6 times (breakfast and dinner) and I've never been disappointed. A solid meal with a great atmosphere.

I've been to Cabo many times and this restaurant has exceeded all expectations! Please visit and ask for Alexis (the best waiter you could hope for)- not only was he insanely knowledgeable about the menu but he was extremely attentive and offered great suggestions! From the Ceviche de Pescado served on a homemade tostada to the Ahi Tuna served on a bed of collared greens, the food was beyond amazing! Best Mexican food hands down. The wait staff was vey amicable, made you feel like family! I highly suggest this restaurant, you won't regret it!!

Roasted Grill & Bar was an absolute highlight of our recent trip to Cabo! We planned one evening…read moreout for dinner and landed on Roasted in downtown Cabo, and we hit the jackpot! The evening we dined here it was raining, and while that is normally not significant, Roasted is partially open-air with the middle of the restaurant having no cover, so the rain was pouring in and effectively closed 60% of the place. When we arrived, the hostess and owner were apologetic and offered to rebook us, but we aren't quitters and a little rain does hurt us...but they also had a table near the entrance that was covered, so we decided to take it and enjoy our evening. Best decision ever! We started our evening off with a few cocktails paired with shrimp ceviche, queso fundido with chorizo, guacamole and an assortment of salsas. Once we ate through all this goodness, we tossed in our main courses of short rib, octopus, imperial shrimp and tampequena's. Finally we rounded out our meal with a few desserts consisting of cheesecake, chocolate flan and key lime pie! Everything was cooked to perfection, plated beautifully and absolutely delectable from first to last bite! The tampequena was my order and consisted of flank steak sided with a chile relleno and quesadilla...all of my favorite things as one meal? Sign me up! The desserts were delightful with all of us non-flan people being converted after trying the chocolate flan! Ownership put the desserts and a round of tequila shots on the house due to rain, which is more than they had to do. We were beyond thankful and appreciative. Service was phenomenal as well. Our server, the hostess, owner and food runners were all engaged, friendly and helpful. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous! The lit tree in the middle of the restaurant is a centerpiece and a perfect anchor to the decor and vibe. Overall, Roasted was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time, and definitely the best one we had while in Cabo. Do yourself a favor and come here! We definitely know we will be back!

The restaurant was packed with locals when we went -- always a great sign. Cash only, so come prepared. What We Ordered Chocolate Clams (Cooked) You can choose raw or cooked -- I went with cooked and it was delicious. Very fresh, no fishy smell at all. One thing to note: every seafood dish comes topped with garlic. I'm not a fan of garlic and didn't know ahead of time, so I rinsed it off with hot water -- still amazing. Calamari Fresh, tender, and very well cooked. Seafood Special Combination Fish and squid were excellent. Lobster and shrimp were okay, nothing too special compared to the others. Price & Value The prices here are unbelievably cheap. * 6 chocolate clams = 285 pesos * Waldorf restaurant: 2 clams for $48 USD * Another place we tried: 2 clams for 340 pesos After eating around Cabo, this place clearly stood out for both quality and price. We couldn't even finish everything and packed leftovers back to the hotel. Total bill for all dishes: around $100 USD -- incredible. Overall Huge portions, super fresh seafood, local vibes, and unbeatable value. If you're anywhere near Cabo San Lucas, this spot is a must-visit.

I should have written down what kind of chips they buy, because they were tasty. Very crunchy and really nice corn and toasty flavor. Frozen margarita had really good flavor too. For the mango one, it had mango puree for a base, which I think was much nicer than just flavored water. Garlic grilled shrimp plate was tasty. Shrimp enchilada was ok, but not really what I was expecting. Guess we've been eating Americanized enchiladas this whole time. This dish was a warmed tortilla topped with small shrimp, tomato, and bell peppers.
