This is worth the trek to get to! We walked from the cruise ship terminal to Isabel and we were not disappointed!! Sure an uber would have been easier, but we thought it would be closer than it was. Everything about Isabel made us happy! The service, the drinks and all of the food...amazing!! Everything was fresh and full of flavor. I did a little happy dance at the first sip of my paloma, first dip of my chip and guacamole and definitely with my first bites of the tacos!!! Super cute little spot on a corner, only a handful of tables. Possible for large groups but might take up majority of the space, unless their upstairs patio is useable - which we did not explore. I bet the views are great! We have been dreaming and talking about Isabel since we left! Highly recommend!!

I felt like steak and ordered the flank steak, veggies and beans and chips for $27. Steak was good but the carrots were still hard. They had a saxophone player that night. Service was friendly, a quaint little restaurant walking distance to our hotel. Nothing to write home about.

Great service! It was very welcoming to have live music and the owners actively engaged. My mother in law loved the mahi mahi. Next time, I'll have a drink on the rooftop.

Super cute and quint restaurant! The owner was there and made sure everything was perfect. There was live music playing and it was the best guacamole we had in Cabo! Definitely will stop here next time we are in town!

We came here 7 years ago and loved it! We came back today and we're not disappointed! I had the shrimp enchiladas with red sauce and my husband had the flank steak. Both dishes were amazing! We will be back again for sure. David, who I think might be the owner, was super nice and we had great service.

Cutest little restaurant. Live music, excellent staff and really inexpensive. We had a lovely Easter brunch here and will definitely be going back! Everything was delicious

My $40 shrimp entree with 6 proves of shrimp. Felt more like an appetizer than an entree.

Ok, I feel bad giving this place 3 stars because the service was SO good, and I want to support small local businesses, but I have to leave an honest review. This place was 5 stars on Yelp, and after reading the reviews, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, other than their reviews exceptional customer service, the food fell a little flat, due to lack of flavor, and mainly because for that you get, I felt like the food was way overpriced. For context, I had just stayed, and dined at, the restaurants at a luxury resort (Garza Blanca), for 4 days, before I came here, and I thought because this place was away from the marina (therefore, less touristy), the prices would be lower and the food would be more authentic. I ordered a crab soup that was on the menu (and it's my fault for not looking at prices when I ordered everything), and for $14, which is crazy for a small bowl of soup, with hardly any crab in it, and just heavy on the cream, it's way too much. I ordered a chicken and vegetable, clear broth soup, for my son, that was recommended and off the menu (so I didn't know how much it was), and that also was $14! Luckily, my son really liked the soup, but it was still overpriced. Even at the resort I stayed at, soups weren't that expensive. For my main, I ordered the shrimp scampi, and the server was nice enough to make it a half and half, so I can try the scampi version and the Mexican style, with chili and mushrooms (which I liked better, flavor wise), but for like $40 something dollars, you get only 6 pieces of shrimp, a small side of steamed veggies (like 6 pieces) and a tiny scoop of rice and like a sprinkle of fry coleslaw mix. That's outrageous. I would I've rather ordered the whole snapper for that price. Again, my fault for not checking prices, but that's ridiculous. Even in the states, they don't charge that much for 6 pieces of shrimp, slathered in a pool of butter and so bland in flavor that I needed to salt it and use hot sauce to give it some flavor. The people that left all these reviews saying that the scampi was really good must have really bland taste buds. Or, maybe the chef just under seasoned my dish that day. Either way, I was going to go back for breakfast, because I was initially so excited about this place and because the servers were so nice, but after my dinner experience, and how much my meal came out to, I didn't end up going back again.

Beautiful atmosphere with lights, plenty of tables, and clean bathrooms. The seafood is so fresh! We ordered the crab meat tostada, aguichiles, ceviche, grilled octopus dinner, garlic shrimp dinner, and fresh grilled fish (Acapulco style) for 2. The dinner plates cakes with a side of rice and steamed mixed vegetables. Everything was so fresh, delicious, tender, and so flavorful. As a group, we couldn't come to a consensus on what each of our favorite dish was. We each had our own favorite. Crab meat was sweet, garlic shrimp was buttery, grilled octopus was so tender, aguichiles was so citrusy... I can go on and on. Ask for fresh tortillas. Also don't skip their margarita. Strong, citrusy, and generous serving. They accept USD or pesos. Also strolling musicians will come by your table asking to play a song. Some will tell you the price up front others will expect a tip at the end.

The restaurant was packed with locals when we went -- always a great sign. Cash only, so come prepared. What We Ordered Chocolate Clams (Cooked) You can choose raw or cooked -- I went with cooked and it was delicious. Very fresh, no fishy smell at all. One thing to note: every seafood dish comes topped with garlic. I'm not a fan of garlic and didn't know ahead of time, so I rinsed it off with hot water -- still amazing. Calamari Fresh, tender, and very well cooked. Seafood Special Combination Fish and squid were excellent. Lobster and shrimp were okay, nothing too special compared to the others. Price & Value The prices here are unbelievably cheap. * 6 chocolate clams = 285 pesos * Waldorf restaurant: 2 clams for $48 USD * Another place we tried: 2 clams for 340 pesos After eating around Cabo, this place clearly stood out for both quality and price. We couldn't even finish everything and packed leftovers back to the hotel. Total bill for all dishes: around $100 USD -- incredible. I should have written down what kind of chips they buy, because they were tasty. Very crunchy and really nice corn and toasty flavor. Frozen margarita had really good flavor too. For the mango one, it had mango puree for a base, which I think was much nicer than just flavored water. Garlic grilled shrimp plate was tasty. Shrimp enchilada was ok, but not really what I was expecting. Guess we've been eating Americanized enchiladas this whole time. This dish was a warmed tortilla topped with small shrimp, tomato, and bell peppers.

The evening we dined here it was raining, and while that is normally not significant, Roasted is partially open-air with the middle of the restaurant having no cover, so the rain was pouring in and effectively closed 60% of the place. When we arrived, the hostess and owner were apologetic and offered to rebook us, but we aren't quitters and a little rain does hurt us...but they also had a table near the entrance that was covered, so we decided to take it and enjoy our evening. Best decision ever! We started our evening off with a few cocktails paired with shrimp ceviche, queso fundido with chorizo, guacamole and an assortment of salsas. Once we ate through all this goodness, we tossed in our main courses of short rib, octopus, imperial shrimp and tampequena's. Finally we rounded out our meal with a few desserts consisting of cheesecake, chocolate flan and key lime pie! Everything was cooked to perfection, plated beautifully and absolutely delectable from first to last bite! The tampequena was my order and consisted of flank steak sided with a chile relleno and quesadilla...all of my favorite things as one meal? Sign me up! The desserts were delightful with all of us non-flan people being converted after trying the chocolate flan! Ownership put the desserts and a round of tequila shots on the house due to rain, which is more than they had to do. We were beyond thankful and appreciative. Service was phenomenal as well. Our server, the hostess, owner and food runners were all engaged, friendly and helpful. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous! The lit tree in the middle of the restaurant is a centerpiece and a perfect anchor to the decor and vibe. Overall, Roasted was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time, and definitely the best one we had while in Cabo. Do yourself a favor and come here! We definitely know we will be back!

From the street it looks like a little hole-in-the-wall, the kind of spot you might almost miss if you're busy chasing fancy marina restaurants. But step inside and suddenly you're in on the secret. Open air, flags hanging everywhere, signatures on the walls from travelers who clearly had a very good night, and the kind of energy that says dinner might get a little rowdy. Now let's talk shrimp. Big, juicy, swimming in garlic, lime, butter, and Baja attitude. The kind of seafood that makes you stop mid-bite and look at your table like, "Yep... we picked the right place." If you love seafood with a Mexican twist, this place doesn't mess around. And then there's the legendary Bulldog drink. It's tequila, beer, citrus, and just enough mischief to make the table louder after the first round. Order one and you'll understand why people start signing their names on the walls like they just joined a Cabo fraternity. Bottom line: this isn't just dinner. It's a little Cabo adventure wrapped in garlic shrimp and cold drinks. If you want quiet elegance, go somewhere else. But if you want flavor, personality, and a story to tell later... pull up a chair. Killer line: Some restaurants serve food Maro's serves memories with a side of shrimp.

I have been coming to Maro's Shrimp House since I found it, probably on Tripadvisor at the time,…read more way back in June 2016 and we make it a must on every trip to Cabo. Even when I was in Cabo on a cruise ship last Friday (11/28), had to hole up in my cabin on my laptop and work a half day (until 11am), missing out on my family's morning excursion all with a 1pm last tender call to get back to the ship... After my wife, mother-in-law, daughter & son's excursion with well reviewed Real Baja Tours (which I arranged separately instead of through the ship), all but my son were dropped off back at the ship as they wanted to skip out on the amazingness of Maro's. Yeah, I KNOW!! CRAZY!! The driver was nice enough to drop my son off at Maro's afterwards and the timing couldn't have been more perfect, just a few minutes before their 12pm opening time. Even though, we were a few minutes early, they gladly seated us right away. And very surprisingly, we were the only ones there for a good 20 minutes. From our very first visit in 2016, it is quite clear that the only things you need order is the shrimp and lobster which are fantastic...and THE BULLDOG (basically a giant schooner of margarita with an upended Coronita standing on its drowning head)...well, no Bulldogs for the boy. Service is very efficient and the friendly staff (despite not knowing too much English, except Maro himself, of course) is very attentive to any calls we had for refills of GARLIC WITH BUTTER (soooo much garlic, it was fantastic) & my dear, dear Bulldogs. Speaking of Bulldogs, they keep track of the most Bulldogs drunken in a sitting. I believe the current leader had 22...which is a superhuman feet because I was feeling quite FINE (read: tipsy) after my two. Also speaking of Bulldogs, on a visit in 2024, my kids, one friend of theirs and I witnessed a server giving 3 ladies a lapdance when they ordered one to share. Now that's service! Lol. Having told the staff we had to get outta there at 12:30pm, they delivered our wonderful meals very promptly and after first giving us totopos (tortilla chips) with two kinds of delicious salsa (well, a salsa and a pico de gallo). We each ordered the 1/4 kilo of lobster and 1/4 medium shrimp for $24.95 USD. (Note prices on the menu are conveniently in USD.) This was more than ample for one person but we prodded on and thoroughly enjoyed it, as always. With each plate, they serve the seafood with a very tasty rice pilaf and some pieces of squash or something I still can't figure out and after 2 Bulldogs, I completely forgot to ask about. They also give you a piping hot cup of that GARLIC WITH BUTTER served over a candle to keep hot which is brilliant. There is nothing worse than eating your giant platter of lobster and shrimp and the butter starts getting cold and becomes gluey and gloppy. That stuff is so good, we asked for another cup (and unlike American restaurants, it was free). On our visit in 2024, we actually got to meet Maro himself, took a picture with him, printed and framed it at home, brought it with us on the cruise and mounted it on the wall to the right of the L.A. Dodger flag, naturally. Since there wasn't any room left to write something with a provided marker, I added my DK to the bottom of the UCLA Bruin flag hidden near the back to the left. Oh, while you might think this place is a dingey dive by the look of the joint with its millions of marked up mostly collegiate flags lining the walls and rafters, the food makes it absolutely worth a visit...or two while you're in town. So save Edith's or Hacienda Y Cucina for the evenings (unless you want what I suspect would be a super fun & roudier crowd in the evenings). HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Wow, that's a David K 4x HIGHLY RECOMMEND so ya better go!
