This is worth the trek to get to! We walked from the cruise ship terminal to Isabel and we were not disappointed!! Sure an uber would have been easier, but we thought it would be closer than it was. Everything about Isabel made us happy! The service, the drinks and all of the food...amazing!! Everything was fresh and full of flavor. I did a little happy dance at the first sip of my paloma, first dip of my chip and guacamole and definitely with my first bites of the tacos!!! Super cute little spot on a corner, only a handful of tables. Possible for large groups but might take up majority of the space, unless their upstairs patio is useable - which we did not explore. I bet the views are great! We have been dreaming and talking about Isabel since we left! Highly recommend!!

I felt like steak and ordered the flank steak, veggies and beans and chips for $27. Steak was good but the carrots were still hard. They had a saxophone player that night. Service was friendly, a quaint little restaurant walking distance to our hotel. Nothing to write home about.

Sad I didn't take more pictures but the food was yummy. Food was super authentic. We were the only people in the restaurant for a while. Everyone was super nice and they had good music playing. Seems to be family owned!

Great service! It was very welcoming to have live music and the owners actively engaged. My mother in law loved the mahi mahi. Next time, I'll have a drink on the rooftop.

Super cute and quint restaurant! The owner was there and made sure everything was perfect. There was live music playing and it was the best guacamole we had in Cabo! Definitely will stop here next time we are in town!

We came here 7 years ago and loved it! We came back today and we're not disappointed! I had the shrimp enchiladas with red sauce and my husband had the flank steak. Both dishes were amazing! We will be back again for sure. David, who I think might be the owner, was super nice and we had great service.

Cutest little restaurant. Live music, excellent staff and really inexpensive. We had a lovely Easter brunch here and will definitely be going back! Everything was delicious

My $40 shrimp entree with 6 proves of shrimp. Felt more like an appetizer than an entree.

Ok, I feel bad giving this place 3 stars because the service was SO good, and I want to support small local businesses, but I have to leave an honest review. This place was 5 stars on Yelp, and after reading the reviews, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, other than their reviews exceptional customer service, the food fell a little flat, due to lack of flavor, and mainly because for that you get, I felt like the food was way overpriced. For context, I had just stayed, and dined at, the restaurants at a luxury resort (Garza Blanca), for 4 days, before I came here, and I thought because this place was away from the marina (therefore, less touristy), the prices would be lower and the food would be more authentic. I ordered a crab soup that was on the menu (and it's my fault for not looking at prices when I ordered everything), and for $14, which is crazy for a small bowl of soup, with hardly any crab in it, and just heavy on the cream, it's way too much. I ordered a chicken and vegetable, clear broth soup, for my son, that was recommended and off the menu (so I didn't know how much it was), and that also was $14! Luckily, my son really liked the soup, but it was still overpriced. Even at the resort I stayed at, soups weren't that expensive. For my main, I ordered the shrimp scampi, and the server was nice enough to make it a half and half, so I can try the scampi version and the Mexican style, with chili and mushrooms (which I liked better, flavor wise), but for like $40 something dollars, you get only 6 pieces of shrimp, a small side of steamed veggies (like 6 pieces) and a tiny scoop of rice and like a sprinkle of fry coleslaw mix. That's outrageous. I would I've rather ordered the whole snapper for that price. Again, my fault for not checking prices, but that's ridiculous. Even in the states, they don't charge that much for 6 pieces of shrimp, slathered in a pool of butter and so bland in flavor that I needed to salt it and use hot sauce to give it some flavor. The people that left all these reviews saying that the scampi was really good must have really bland taste buds. Or, maybe the chef just under seasoned my dish that day. Either way, I was going to go back for breakfast, because I was initially so excited about this place and because the servers were so nice, but after my dinner experience, and how much my meal came out to, I didn't end up going back again.

The restaurant was packed with locals when we went -- always a great sign. Cash only, so come prepared. What We Ordered Chocolate Clams (Cooked) You can choose raw or cooked -- I went with cooked and it was delicious. Very fresh, no fishy smell at all. One thing to note: every seafood dish comes topped with garlic. I'm not a fan of garlic and didn't know ahead of time, so I rinsed it off with hot water -- still amazing. Calamari Fresh, tender, and very well cooked. Seafood Special Combination Fish and squid were excellent. Lobster and shrimp were okay, nothing too special compared to the others. Price & Value The prices here are unbelievably cheap. * 6 chocolate clams = 285 pesos * Waldorf restaurant: 2 clams for $48 USD * Another place we tried: 2 clams for 340 pesos After eating around Cabo, this place clearly stood out for both quality and price. We couldn't even finish everything and packed leftovers back to the hotel. Total bill for all dishes: around $100 USD -- incredible. Overall Huge portions, super fresh seafood, local vibes, and unbeatable value. If you're anywhere near Cabo San Lucas, this spot is a must-visit.

We then enjoyed the table side Caesar Salad made fresh which was absolutely phenomenal then served fresh sourdough bread with a garlic butter. Then the Coconut Shrimp appetizer was stunning and delicious! Along with the Imperial Shrimp as the main course! Plus, live music and blanket ponchos at every seat for added experience. From the street it looks like a little hole-in-the-wall, the kind of spot you might almost miss if you're busy chasing fancy marina restaurants. But step inside and suddenly you're in on the secret. Open air, flags hanging everywhere, signatures on the walls from travelers who clearly had a very good night, and the kind of energy that says dinner might get a little rowdy. Now let's talk shrimp. Big, juicy, swimming in garlic, lime, butter, and Baja attitude. The kind of seafood that makes you stop mid-bite and look at your table like, "Yep... we picked the right place." If you love seafood with a Mexican twist, this place doesn't mess around. And then there's the legendary Bulldog drink. It's tequila, beer, citrus, and just enough mischief to make the table louder after the first round. Order one and you'll understand why people start signing their names on the walls like they just joined a Cabo fraternity. Bottom line: this isn't just dinner. It's a little Cabo adventure wrapped in garlic shrimp and cold drinks. If you want quiet elegance, go somewhere else. But if you want flavor, personality, and a story to tell later... pull up a chair. Killer line: Some restaurants serve food Maro's serves memories with a side of shrimp.
