First, Carlos is an excellent plumber. We have used him many times with consistently positive results. That said, I contacted him recently because a kitchen faucet he installed about six months ago came loose. He responded timely to make a repair, which I appreciated. Somehow, upon arrival, he concluded that the problem was my fault and that I had been "messing" with the faucet. I told him that it had moved out of alignment with routine use and all I had done was to check to see if it was loose, which it was, which was when I contacted him. He tightened the faucet, after which he berated me with several ridiculous, insulting, and condescending comments, ending with him challenging me to try to twist the faucet to be sure it was tight because "I'm not coming back again" to tighten it. His demeanor and comments took me completely by surprise, given the history of our business relationship and what I mistakenly thought was mutual respect. I won't use La Quinta Plumbing Solutions again, despite the work they have done for us. We had been taking COLD showers in the master for a while. It was kind of like, cardio-cleansing as you had to jump & move while the ice water bounced off of your skin. I finally ponied up by calling Carlos. He was quick to respond, and he recommended a plan of action. Even though the cartridge could have merely been replaced, we decided to do away with the old lever fixture as well. This included a new valve fitting too. I called Carlos for a leak under my house- for which we had to turn all the water to the home OFF. He showed up for the first appointment- Found the leak and said its very muddy under the home from the leak- he said to LEAVE the water off- and he would be back at the end of the day to fix the leak. For the next 5 days- he kept calling and postponing the service. All the while telling us to leave the water off so it can dry out. I called another plumber Valley Wide- they were very busy but gave me an appt for the next day- which is now the third day without ANY water. Carlos called on the third day and pushed the appt again - Day 4- Carlos said he would be there at the end of the 4th day. Valley Wide came at 8AM and fixed the leak in 20 minutes. The reason why I decided to write this negative review is because he had the nerve to call in the afternoon on the 4th day to push to the next day- Guaranteeing he would show up on the 5th day. So I told him fine- even tho the job was done- Needless to say on the 5th day he never showed, never called, and never answered my calls. read more

We recently hired La Quinta Plumbing Solutions to replace our nearly 20 year old water heater, before it gave up the ghost, with a tankless one. Carlos showed up on time for the quote, took some time to understand our plumbing situation and our needs, then sent back a quote that was less than half one of the other quotes we got. Quotes were all over the place price wise. Carlos and his team showed up on time for the install and stayed into the evening, on a hot Saturday, to complete the heater replacement and get the WiFi interface working (the heater worked fine, just the WiFi was being a pain). The crew cleaned up well after themselves. His "IT" guy came back a couple days later to complete the WiFi setup. We're very happy with the new heater and love the fact that we don't have to run the water for so long to get hot water in the shower in the back of the house.
