Ordered a cake in advance next day pickup and I was very specific about design and flavors 3 Leches with peach filling and fruit on top Showed the lady taking the order how I wanted it and she took my order. Paid for it in advance Show up the day of pickup and I see this old looking cake that is not what I had ordered It had white chocolate I didn't ask for caramel on top that I also didn't ask for No almonds and the fruit was rotten I mean it had mold the berries looked wrinkled old and the girl said to me well the person who took the order messed it up, so I can just give you your money back. One if the most expensive and worst tasting bakeries in town. I stopped by this morning to pick up some sweet bread and roles (birrotes). Spent over $15 for a couple of pieces so you would figure that you were buying the freshest and softest most best tasting bread in town. Well, think again my friend. All the bread was stale and hard. Even my son's carrot cake was dry and hard with white spots. The birrotes were rock solid and sold as fresh. They we're so hard that I couldn't squeeze the bread. I am pretty angry. I just went in to this store13825 Amar Rd La Puente Ca 91746, and I asked how much a dozen pork, red sauce tamales are. After thinking about it for a minute the woman replied, $20.00. I thought about it, as 20 bucks seems like a lot of $$$, but ended up paying the 20 bucks anyway. Came here super last minute to buy my friend a cake. They were very helpful in asking how many people were being fed, the taste my friend had, etc. They had banana filled cakes, strawberry, tres leches "sponge/butter cake", chocolate, you name it they had it. Anywho, ended up with a large cake, was asked if I wanted something written on it. I mentioned to the lady a "happy bday" and to draw on a rainbow (because my friend is gay). I expected a simple drawn rainbow, but they whipped out this airbrush cake w a rainbow, and topped it with a man laying down (check the photo! Lol). I thought it was awesome!
