Here is a picture of the sale for taco Tuesday.
    Daniel T.

The food was ok. The cook was friendly to me. I spoke Spanish to everyone from the moment I walked in, and was polite to the only 2 staff members. It was taco Tuesday. I ordered 2 carne asada tacos. I was over charged for each taco. They charged me 2.97 per taco before sales tax. When it should have been 1.99 before sales tax. The decore is humble, but well kept. If you come on a Tuesday expect to pay full price. The tacos taste just like any other street tacos off of Tustin Ave.

Churon. You eat this as an app with your drinks. Haven't tried but looks amazing

I had a completely average bacon breakfast burrito and paid $14! Usually place with so many obvious health code violations would be cheaper.

Picked the prime filet mignon since I wanted something more lean and she gave me the perfect cut. I also picked some lemon peppercorn butter to top my steak with. They also have a sandwich station which I will give a try at another time. I'II be back!

Displayed in a shiny cold case that is expertly manned by a friendly, informative staff, there is every cut of meat...they even have quail if you ask! They also have a deli where you can order huge, hearty, delicious sandwiches (you always want it on ciabatta since white & wheat bread won't be able to handle all the oil & vinegar, pesto, mustard) to go! These are $14 sandwiches but worth it! Our sequence of events: We ordered #4 and #6 Shopped for dinner (ribeyes, filets, asparagus, red bliss potatoes, garlic bread) Picked up our takeout sandwiches Impulsively picked up 2 bags of chips that were near the front Paid for everything at the register Finally got home to enjoy all the delicious foods we got from the Butchery!

After eating at several Argentinian restaurants recently, I've been on a chimichurri kick. I have…read moretried chimichurri sauces from Whole Foods and Trader Joe's but they aren't really very authentic. A friend recommended seeing what El Gaucho might have, so I visited the next day. The market is easy to spot with a big street sign out front. There are only two parking spots in front, one is a handicapped space. There's plenty of parking around the back though. When you walk in, you will see the main market with lots of items and brands I've never seen before. Slightly to the right is their deli counter with lots of meats, cheeses, and other miscellaneous items. To the right of the entrance is a dining area, and another counter where you can order sandwiches, empanadas, pizza, French fries, and drinks. I was laser focused on getting the chimichurri and leaving since I was short on time. It is in plastic bottles in plain view on on top of the deli counter. I purchased the regular variety, but they also have a spicy version. I could already tell this was going to be way better than the other two sauces I tried. I've had it on a steak, and on my breakfast scrambled eggs, and it's in a whole different league from the grocery versions I tried. It looks just like a restaurant chimichurri, oil based with lots of herbs and spices. I just had a nice filet mignon with chimichurri at a good Argentinan restaurant last week, and this chimichurri is about 90% as good. I moved it from the plastic bottle it comes in to a glass jar which will hopefully help preserve it longer, and store it in the refrigerator. I now have no reason to look elsewhere for chimichurri. My friend visits here periodically and says the sandwiches are excellent. I'll have to return again to try one, get more chimichurri, and explore the market and deli to see what other goodies they have.

There is also a small diner where you can enjoy the delicious foods or some wine and beer while you sit and discuss who is the most legendary footballer (soccer).
