I have nothing but great things to say about QP Plumbing! Oscar is very responsive, professional,…read moreeasy to work with, and an overall stand up guy with a high level of integrity. Last year we had a water heater installed by QP Plumbing. There was one part of the installation that was overlooked and caused us some issues. When I told Oscar, he took complete accountability and offered to give us monetary compensation. I told him if he could just provide us with a credit on future service that would be great. Fast forward to present day, we had leak with one of our pipes. Oscar was able to come immediately to diagnose the issue and got his crew here the next day to get the issue resolved. Oscar did in fact give me the credit we had discussed over a year ago which I appreciated. I certainly plan to use QP Plumbing for any of my plumbing needs moving forward and I would highly recommend them.

Your home's plumbing is an "out of sight, out of mind" thing. If you don't have to think about it,…read morethen it's doing its job correctly. My parents-in-law had a toilet that wasn't draining properly, a semi-emergency since it's the only toilet in their small condo. It was already late in the day, but I found QP Plumbing and messaged them and they were able to have a plumber out early the next morning. Leo was the plumber who visited and he did a lot of troubleshooting: first with a plunger, then an auger, then removing the toilet to inspect the trap and the drain pipe. In the end, we determined that the toilet should be replaced because of its age, and Leo took care of buying a new toilet, installing it, and hauling the old one away. He recommended a toilet that's elongated and slightly higher, which was a great option for our elderly parents with reduced mobility. Leo also replaced the wax ring and flange bolts and caulked the new toilet well. He took the time to do the job right, and the price was quite reasonable. And the new toilet is a huge improvement over the old one. Thanks QP for the quality work and for giving our parents one less thing to have to worry about!

Raul explained to me in detail how it actually works, tested my water afterward, and showed me the adjustability of the unit. I really recommend Raul, and I am now a Next-Gen customer!

I was connected with one of their sales representatives after reviewing the flyer. They install both salt based and salt free systems from EcoWater. My home can only support a salt free system due to the current plumbing- prior to this meeting I had performed my own research and have received multiple quotes. The sales man showed me a power point presentation and then took a water sample. Based on our discussion I was offered a Salt Free system. I was told ,and based on his presentation, that this system descales and also has a carbon filter all in one. This was listed specifically in their powerpoint presentation that was shown to me and my family member. As part of the installation several promotions were included such as 15 year supply of soap products and a discount with future NexGen services. Additionally they were going to replace our pressure regulator and also the control valve as part of the installation- although this involved a back and forth telephone conversation with his manager who was not going to originally cover this. One other issue before signing was that the salesman had no clue about the required maintenance of these units, as all other companies require maintenance every 1-2 years. Before signing he took pictures of the space and sent it to his management who said installation was possible. We signed the contract and I connected with Costco management to also put a deposit down so I could get my cash back promotion through them. For some reason I was enticed with the 15 years of soap products and the cash back, my mistake. However, this is when the trouble started. That evening I review the contract and I review information of the unit that is being installed. Given my background I go to the EcoWater website and review the product information. I see that the unit being installed only descales the pipes but offers no other filtration features- no carbon filtration is possible with that unit, which was listed as being a feature of that product in their advertising. I call the next day and explain the error to the salesman. He reviews the paperwork with his manager and they realize their error. They offer to then throw in a unit that actually does the carbon filtration. So now I am getting two of these towers. Now comes the next issue. The day of installation the contracted plumber reviews the site and says that the unit cannot be installed due to a potential code violation, although this had been cleared by his management to install. Additionally, they only bring one unit instead of the promised two units. They then offer the more top of the line unit- something that would exceed 12K that I am now getting at a discount. The installation has been at standstill as we were told that they would reach out to the inspection office of my city to see if the installation was up to code and could proceed. I am now no longer interested in having this system installed by this company because their sales force are extremely aggressive and seem to not know what they are doing. For those of you who had an EcoWater saltless system installed by NexGen through Costco I would review what product was actually installed as you were probably sold the wrong product. I am going to table this home installation for a while as I generally do not trust any of these whole home water filtration companies. Sorry to leave this long negative review but this needs to be public knowledge of the business practices of this company. It may not be reflective of all the work that they do and offer but this needs to be public knowledge. Thank you.
