    Ensalada Verde/Green Salad

This is walking distance from the Eiffel Tower which made it accessible on our first night in town. We were greeted and seated promptly. We had pepperoni pizza and basil fettuccine. 4 of us ate and were pleased with everything we tasted. Portions were also appropriate for a satisfying meal. The seating is quite intimate which makes your conversation not private.

Nice restaurant with lots of space to dine outside and inside. They even have more tables downstairs. Service was great. Food was ok. We ordered the gnocchi with black truffle sauce, spaghetti bolognese, bruschetta palermo, pepperoni pizza and mushroom risotto. I was hoping my risotto would have nicer mushrooms than white mushrooms, but nope. The portion size was enormous for the price. Honestly, back home in NYC, I would be served less than half of what I got here. The flavor left something to be desired. The bruschetta palermo came with a nice little salad on the side. A good dish if you are trying to eat light. Everyone else enjoyed their food. The gnocchi sauce was interesting. A single pizza can feed two very hungry children. The 4 and 6 year split it.

Little restaurant located steps away from the Eiffel Tower. Don't let the looks of it fool you, this place serves delicious food for a great price. The pasta and bruschetta both had a little spicy kick which was unexpected but added to the flavor. Don't walk by and ignore, give this place a try.

DO NOT COME HERE THEY ARE PIGS! I ordered a linguini with clam and it came out with so much sand! (see photo attached) and that was just one clam (the rest didn't even have clam inside only fucking sand) I asked to exchange to a different dish and they let me change it to tomato and basil pasta.. when the check came they charged me for the linguini and clam and said the tomato and basil was 'free' fucking ridiculous. DO NOT COME HERE. ruined my lunch..

My friend and I walked past La Piccolina looking for a certain street with an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower and promptly returned because of the scrumptious smells coming from the restaurant. Our waiter was a hoot! Very flirty but also very kind. We both ordered pizzas and when they arrived they were heart shaped! We both ate all of our pizza, quite a task since they were prettttyyyy large. Our waiter also gave us from free tiramisu! Because he joked us about finishing our pizzas. We ate so much we could barely walk out of there. Prices were decent (especially for being so close to the Eiffel Tower). Food was AMAZING! Service was AMAZING! Yes our waiter flirted with us but we saw him and the other staff Interact with other tables and their coworkers and they were genuinely good people. Bathrooms were clean and they let me charge my phone behind their counter.

We ate here twice in 3 days. It was fantastic! Service was great and the food was delicious. Between the two visits , we got salad, pizzas, a calzone, pasta and dessert. Everything was excellent. We loved it both times we went.

I ate here during my trip and certainly enjoyed it. This was one of the few Italian eateries on this strip of restaurants so I figured I'd give it a shot. I had the mushroom raviolis and I thought that it was delicious. Very flavorful and well made. I assume that the pasta is handmade/house-made as it tasted extremely fresh. The food here is actually very affordable compared to the surrounding restaurants which is nice as well. I also noticed that they sell a bunch a fresh pizzas that were huge! One order is definitely sufficient enough for 2 people. If you are in the area I definitely recommend this place for a nice lunch or dinner!

The owner is on a budget. We have received to ask multiple times for simple things like napkins, water, wifi, etc. Food is mid grade.

The staff here is really excellent and their care for their patrons is apparent. As a vegetarian it can be hard trying to find proper food besides pizza. Our server was extremely helpful and helped adjust menu items to a vegetarian diet. Removing fish or chicken or adding some sauce, he really made sure we had a positive experience. The restaurant is quite cozy and feels like home. Though it does seem a bit older, this just adds to its charm. All in all, I found the food to be really delicious, especially the tagliatelle which he did with sauce and mushrooms minus the meat. The flavor of the food was beautifully balanced. I would definitely recommend this tiny little place to my friends and would guess that the non-veg food is equally as tasty.

On the other hand, it made me realize that my mother was a terrible cook. Bistro des Augustins is a small, cozy venue offering both indoor seating and terrace seating near Pont Neuf. It serves a small number of curated dishes, including a wonderfully traditional Bistro Gratin in a homey ceramic dish served piping hot with a brown crispy cheesy top, herbs, spices and chicken. You can also get it with salmon. My brothers and I only saw my mother use our gas range to light her cigarettes, sanitize needles to remove our splinters, and make s'mores during the summer months when she couldn't muster the energy to take us 'outside camping.' I mean, all she had to do was borrow a cookbook, which I'm sure were readily available from maybe a neighbor or in any local bookstore or the public library. How hard is that? I was the only kid who brought a can of tuna and his own monogrammed can opener to school every day. Every day. And mom convinced me that the tuna holster she got me for my birthday was cool and hip. I was a naive mercury-filled fool, although I did become a very fast runner in junior high school because of the tuna holster. The interior décor of Bistro des Augustins is informal and vintage bistro style - wooden tables, traditional chalkboard menus, and soft lighting - creating a relaxed and comfy ambiance. My eyes have been opened to what's possible. Thank you Bistro des Augustins for expanding my culinary horizons. Five stars.

THE FOOD ------------------…read more= Fermier - Cheese gratin with chicken was good. Didn't blow me away, but was solid with the creaminess of the sliced potatoes and emmental cheese combined together with mixed vegetables. The cheese was very strong though, so anything else was unfortunately pretty much overpowered by it. Arrived with bread, but it DEFINITELY could use other carb options to sop it all up (e.g., rice???)! = Landais - Cheese gratin with duck. Same comment as the above, except the Landais had egg and goat cheese also mixed in with almost the same ingredients as the Fermier. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + The lone waitress, who also worked the role as greeter, cashier and bartender was friendly. + Food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ = Small, tight restaurant. = Not many tables inside - 6 in total. + Located a few blocks away from the more touristy restaurants, towards the East, on a much quieter street.
