Authentic Salvadoran, down to the enormous puddle of piss and MS13 gang tags in the men's room. The food is awesome, though.

Out of towner + lover of really good, authentic tacos read reviews to pick out this place…read more Closed Mondays so just made it on Sunday for dinner. Counter order/buzzer to hold til ready. What a find!!! I have to mention the amount of flavors bursting forth before anything else. 1st bite- we were sold. Never said this B4 in a review - these tacos could not have been any better, in any way, than they were here. Juicy and tender, we tried 5 types, the beef birria, goat birria, chicken tinga, chicken+chorizo, and beef tinga. All equally great. Then Sopas chicken tinga, beer birria So fabulous too. Loved every single bite. Small place, very casual with several inside tables, more outside. Sat down for some, carryout for more. Carryout was well packaged- self serve some of the 3 sauces to go to try. Green is avocado/tomatillo mix, red is hotter/sharper, orange (kickin/creamy) good. Decent sized menu but not trying to do everything- smart move. Because everything they do they do extremely well. Before we even left, I said "If we lived here , I'd be coming here almost every week". It's that good. We're both retired chefs and cook at home constantly, but this was something special. Do Not Miss.

This is a very nice little shop for some great tacos…read more Food - The birria is definitely the best taco here, the beef consommé for dipping is just great. The lengua and carne asada are good too. Only problem is they are not consistent. One day it is amazing and the next it tastes off. The best quality about any restaurant is in the consistency more so than one off good day. So, I can't vouch for it. You may get a good one or may not!

A gutsy move and worth a visit…read more I always wondered why someone would open a taco restaurant so close to a Taco Bamba. Today I decided to go see for myself. There were several things that set this place apart, and mostly in a good way. The space is clean and open. There's plenty of comfortable seating... on comfortable seats... at actual tables. The staff is friendly and helpful. The setup is use a tablet to enter your order and get one of those round, vibrating pagers so you know when to go pick up your order. To my surprise, a few seconds after I sat down one of the staff brough my plastic soda glass so I could get my beverage while I waited for my food. And a few seconds after I got back to my table with my Dr. Pepper ("No Coke, Pepsi") someone dropped off my food. Now, to the food. I ordered two tacos, a Carne Asada and an Al Pastor, along with an ear of street corn. Of that, my favorite was the street corn, followed by the Al Pastor taco. I was unpleasantly surprised by the Carne Asada taco because it was soaked in grease. They also have a nice assortment of daily specials and happy hour bargains. Such specials and happiness includes leveraging their full bar. I will be coming back, probably for their happy hour and will make a point of not getting a Carne Asada Taco.
