The food was amazing here and the drinks were good. We loved the chips and salsa and will definitely be coming back. Good for groups too.

Stopped here for lunch on a road trip. Randomly found this place on Yelp and had good reviews and figured we would stop. Glad we did. It's a cute little place looks authentic. The service was great. Their was one guy working and he worked really hard and did a great job taking care of the whole restaurant. Onto the food. We had the table side guacamole. It was made perfect. The chips and salsa are homemade and really good as well. I got enchiladas for my meal and it had three different sauces on it. The verde was my favorite. Mole I didn't really like because it was too sweet for me. The rice and refried beans were both really good as well. The chicken in the enchiladas is diced not shredded and I prefer shredded so that would be my only complaint.

Food was excellent and the staff was really nice. The orange hot sauce that was served with the opening chips was outstanding. The red salsa that was also served was very flavorful. I had the Chile Relleno, (one chicken, the other cheese), the presentation beautiful. My Dad has the beef Tacos that he loved.

I've been driving past this modest-looking gem for months. NAH, said I. And that was my bad. Very bad. After all, my shelves are lined with Mexican cookbooks, Diana Kennedy is a household god, and my chili has won awards. I don't bother going to just any old roadside Mexican restaurant. Fortunately, I finally ordered from La Patrona last night and I'm blown away by the quality of the food. This is a seriously real restaurant serving surprisingly good food. And bite by bite, it gets even better than that. This first order was modest. a simple dinner for me and my bride. Carnitas Burritos for me, Carnitas Michoacanas for her. The overly generous servings of well-seasoned pork were slow-cooked, tender, and lightly charred on the edges. Sorta the way real food is supposed to be made, but rare from all but the very best restaurants. The taste was even better. There were three different and distinct salsas, from mild to bright. with a fresh pico de gallo, generous portions of well-flavored refried beans and uniquely prepare rice (made with corn and bits of unctuous veggies) and a seriously good serving of guacamole. There's obviously a real chef in the kitchen. I'm torn about posting this. I'm afraid there'll be long lines and a waiting list next time I go. This place deserves no less and I'll definitely be back, long lines or not, for the rest of the menu. Maybe I'll bump it up another star. This is, hands down, the very best Mexican restaurant I've found anywhere near here... ----- A brief update since my last visit. Because the crowds may be sparse (for reasons beyond my comprehension), it's best to ask what's freshest before ordering. Some things on the menu may be more recently prepared than others. if Pedro is your waiter ask him. He knows. He also makes the best margarita in town; ask for that, too.

Best Al pastor tacos I've had in a long time. Nice charing on the pork. Guacamole was very good too.

From the…read moremoment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by a wonderful young lady, which set the tone for the night. The place was busy, but the staff still made us feel completely taken care of. I'm usually not a fan of prix fixe menus and had my heart set on trying the Beef Wellington, but honestly, I didn't feel like I missed out at all. My filet and husbands lobster ravioli were both delicious, and the appetizers were just as impressive. Their wine selection was also really nice and paired perfectly with dinner. They were sold out of 2 of the bottles we initially requested so that speaks for itself ! We ended the night with a soufflé and a tart for dessert, which was the perfect sweet finish. Overall, such a great Valentine's dinner,we'll definitely be back! In addition to all that I was a huge fan of their fine China and wine glasses they were not only in pristine condition it was just so comforting to enjoy my food on beautiful plates. Good job to the owners/ restaurant's manager sometimes it's the smallest things people notice.

Kitchen needs to know how to stage food better when they are busy. We also enjoyed watching other customers being pissed off on the operations. Waiter was as nice as he could be considering how busy they were. The need to manage operations better. Disappointed with the fries. Too much oil and soggy. Lucs in Ridgefield is way better. I would avoid and we will not be back. Would also recommend the French restaurant in North Salem.

This is not your typical Italian restaurant. The food is truly authentic, and absolutely amazing! We started with the calamari as an appetizer, and it was delicious. On Valentine's Day, I made a reservation for 8:15 and arrived 10 minutes early. After ANOTHER 20 MINUTES ON TOP OF THE 15 THEY ASKED US TO WAIT, we were seated, and immediately put our order in. At 10, we didn't even have our appetizers. At 10:30 we decided to leave. Firstly, extremely understaffed and can tell the employees are miserable. Our waiter was unfriendly and very robotic. Clearly stressed managing multiple tables, this should not be an issue in a larger franchise like this. Second, Our food was atrocious. The boneless wings were the only manageable thing to get down. We ordered the chicken tenders and classic burger and both were sub par for what we paid. The food is lazy, downright disgusting at times and not worth the money. Our silverware was served to us with food particles from previous meals and clearly unsanitary. This is purely disgusting. Shame on the owner for allowing this. I feel bad for the clearly overworked employees but above all, this experience should NEVER happen to paying customers in any establishment.
