The portions are huge! Great to share family style and very delicious also very HOT! If not careful might burn your tongue. Service was fast and the employees attentive. The music is loud so be ready to use your outside voice lol.

We went on a Sunday at approximately 5pm and it was packed but we got seated within 15 minutes. Server was very attentive despite it being busy. Asked for aguachiles to be a little less spicy but they were still super spicy. Sauce was tasty though! The langostinos were great and more meaty than at other places I've been to. Michelada was great! The mejillones were also great! I will definitely be back at this local spot!

Still a 5 star experience. Their seasoned fries are wonderful and I forget what the dish was but it was a seafood dish served in a pineapple and covered with cheese. It was so deliciously rich. Not photod is the mango margarita that really hit the spot. everything I said in the previous review still stands. I just wanted to include a photo

Very nice establishment! The service was amazing and the food was perfect! The crew is from Jalisco so beautiful ladies doing what they do!! And the price is reasonable

    Not worth the price!!

Not worth the price, they bring out a complimentary ceviche appetizer for two that is no bigger than my palm, I have a small hand. The ceviche has no flavor and only enough for one tostada and bone dry. The the red snapper deep fried in garlic was terribly over cooked and the the shrimp wrapped in bacon tasted like mush , this kind of dish is normally my favorite at other restaurants, well not here. I asked the waitress for ranch dressing she said okay yes and never came back. Also the they live karaoke which is nice but the music was so loud and blasting that you could not have a conversation. All on a Friday night. Do not recommend. See ya!

    Agua Chiles

I placed an order through DoorDash for my husband and I to enjoy a lazy Saturday. Ive never ordered Agua Chile's and thought it would be a good idea to give Agua Chile's and La Palma a shot. Needless to say once the order arrives, the shrimp are completely raw and looked disgusting. What kind of restaurant sends out food like the pictures I attatched?? I tried calling the restaurant and No one answered. Honestly one of the most disappointing experiences I have had with any restaurant.

Seafood filled pineapple cheesy and delicious

My coworkers and I are in town for work and traveling all summer we finished at 9, we saw restaurant was still open and had high ratings so I lead them over there since I trust Yelp! The food ordered was the pineapple filled with a cheesy seafood medley and my other coworker ordered the fajitas , they were both extremely happy. I ordered the ceviche mixto it was extremely flavorful and yummy but the biggest disappointment was that it was loaded with imitation crab in the ceviche, it made me wonder if they use this in their other dishes for flavor :(. My issue with imitation crab is the artificial and terrible ingredients. We got in and the waitress was very nice and friendly, there was a friendly man who came by and asked my coworker if he needed tortillas for his fajitas which was very considerate, We were the last people in but everyone waved goodbye at us !

    Mango and Don Julio!

Totally loved, it had a mix of Magueyes, Islas Marias and Mi Tierra, With extra, karaoke on fridays with Dj, and Mariachi on Sunday after 2pm per greeter. Will be coming back again, and so happy to see a great establishment in the south side of Chicago. Customer service, is a plus, plus, plus, and the atmosphere was cheery.

We were seated right away on a Saturday night. Ordered the crab legs, garlic bread, and drink. They were done super fast & tasted great. The service was amazing. Constantly checking on us and bringing everything out right away. Such a great night will definitely be returning :)

I found a place for seafood. I ordered Camarones a La Diabla The shrimp was properly seasoned and the sauce gave it a kick. Warning if you do not like really spicy food I wouldn't recommend this dish. The flavor was delicious a hit of tomato with a spicy tangy flavor and the fries were perfectly cooked. The only reason I gave it 4 stars because the rice was basic not thing to write about a dry. The tacos where delicious with a lot of flavor and the tortillas buttered up with the meat oil . The drink had mixed of flavors with the perfect amount of liquor. I would definitely go back

As much as it was packed from 2:30 til 3:30 we were still were able to order a drink at bar. Martin was so nice and took our order and brought it to us being we went back to waiting line. The place is small with a hard time to walk around when it's full. It's a nice bar restaurant and didn't realized until we were leaving that there's a back area. The bartenders could be a little more social and happy bc that seem a bit dull and unhappy working there. Unlike Martin he was happy. Mildred was our server and she did phenomenal. We stood at the door for about 20 minutes before someone finally told us the wait would be 1-2 hours. Keep in mind, the place is pretty small and already crowded, so there's barely any room to stand while you wait. After getting on the waitlist, we decided to go to a nearby spot for food--but not even 5 minutes later, we got called back saying our table was ready. When we returned, we were seated along the wall in a very tight space--so tight that if I stretched my arm out, I would've hit the person next to me. We noticed a large table nearby had been sitting for a while without food. When their food finally came out, it made us realize our wait would probably be even longer. After another 20 minutes passed and we still hadn't been able to order, we decided to leave. I'm not sure the space is fully ready for the rush right now--it feels overcrowded and service is slow. I'll give it another try once the hype dies down. I'm happy for their success, though--just be prepared to be patient when you go.

Starting with margaritas (because obviously ‍), queso and chips that were dangerously good, and the chicken empanadas that came out perfectly crispy with so much flavor. We kept looking at each other after every bite like "okay wait... THIS is the best thing here" and then another plate would arrive and prove us wrong again The carnitas fried rice??? I genuinely cannot stop thinking about it. So savory, flavorful, comforting, and packed with crispy carnitas on top with the eggs and pickled onions... literally unreal. And then the skirt steak tacos absolutely stole the show. The steak was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and paired so perfectly with all the toppings and sauces. Every single bite tasted fresh and homemade in the best way possible. And can we talk about the ambience for a second because WOW. The music, the energy, the vibe inside, everyone celebrating, the drinks flowing -- it felt like the perfect Cinco de Mayo dinner spot. The service was also AMAZING from start to finish and made the entire experience even better. One of those dinners where you leave already talking about when you're coming back If you're looking for the place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, date night, tacos & margaritas, or honestly just an incredible dinner in general... this is IT

Appetizers were quac and chips, and shrimp ceviche. The guac was really good, but the ceviche was the star. Served on a bed of cucumbers, it was visually beautiful, and the flavor was fresh and complex. There was also a LOT of it. We ended up taking some home. Entrees were steak and shrimp for me, and Tampiquena for my friend. In both dishes, the steak was done to perfection. The sauce that came with my shrimp was spicy and deep--lots of flavor layers there. Both of us took home portions of our meals because there was a lot of food on the plates. Finally, the service--the servers are attentive without hovering. If we needed something, they were there, but never intrusive. It is hard to believe this is a little neighborhood spot, given the service and the quality of the food. It was not too busy tonight--we ate early--but I recommend reservations. It is very popular with the neighborhood. Bottom line, we each had 2 margaritas, appetizers, and entrees, and our bills with tip were around $105.00 each--totally worth it! Try this little gem--you won't regret it.
