    Dinning room

Really good place to come have breakfast or lunch. It has a nice and clean dinning room area and a counter that is very inviting for a quick coffee or even enjoying your breakfast. It is truly a great place to try Honduran cuisine. Soups and stews are amazing. Service was very personable and friendly.

Jocote never had them until now and Joni was sweet enough to gift me some to take my mom. Thank you Joni.

Wow My parents are from Honduras. In my household my parents embraced us with many tradicional meals. Every meal I have tried each dish has kept its authenticity in taste seasoning and portion. Today I craved enchiladas and chicken tacos and I apologize inhaled two tacos before deciding taking a picture. Ha! Everything is delicious from simple tortillas to catrachitas, beef soup, seafood soup, pollo ceibeño, nacatamales, corn tamales, and trust me I always walk out with so much food and products I never leave this place without taking something for my parents.

a bowl of soup and tortillas

The food is delicious, but the restaurant is always so hot that I sweat a lot. There is only one air conditioner inside the room, so it is to steamer inside

Fantastic food and great customer service. Try the Bandera cerveza. The steak was juicy and delicious, more than enough food in the meal.

The service was Attentive, genuine, and on point. You can tell the team cares deeply about every table. We felt welcomed and completely taken care of all night. And the food... hands down, every single dish transported us. As second-generation Cuban Americans, we grew up with these flavors -- plates that filled our childhood tables, surrounded by family, stories, and culture. Every bite brought back memories of home-cooked meals, Sunday gatherings, and our grandparents' kitchens. The seasoning, the textures, the presentation -- authentic and elevated without losing soul. This place doesn't just serve Cuban food. It brings our culture to life. Thank you Mikey for sharing your art with our community, you truly created art on this. La Tasca G is such a great little restaurant…read more It is actually a Local's Gem. The owner ... Guisella, a Cuban with Spanish roots, actually just came back after living in Spain for many years and wanted to bring to Miami a little of what she loves from her time there... her love for the food and tapas, bar, etc. This humble restaurant is located in an unassuming area in the west Hialeah area... but packing a ton of flavor into their dishes. Croquettes, Paella, chorizo, octopus... and so on... everything was delicious. You must come here if you want to have a good time and a great meal. Prices are on the cheaper side compared to other local restaurants that do not compare on food quality. (LA Tasca G is it!) Pro tip... ask for items of the menu like matrimonio pincho (a bread toast with tomatoes, onion, anchovies with an olive oil vinaigrette) and many more. The ceviche is also great and only $9.00 This restaurant was a great surprise for which I hope I can enjoy many more times. 2 thumbs up

The service is very good as they offer an outside window for coffee, shakes, and small order pick ups. I feel obligated to write a review for this cafeteria/ restaurant based on my own experience…read more I have read some reviews that say service here is bad. In my experience is actually the opposite. Maybe it is due to the fact that this restaurant changed ownership or management a few years ago and things seem to have improved since. Service is fast, friendly and attentive. Other reviews said that they pay no attention to detail as far as food presentation..... "it is a cafeteria" not a Michelin rated restaurant. Having said that, quality of food here is good, it is plentiful and inexpensive. Most clients here are from warehouses around the area and it only opens from early morning until like 6 pm. They bake their own Cuban bread on premises and have lots of daily specials ranging from like 6.50 to 9.00 dollars. Their Ajiaco, a Cuban soup, is delicious. Also very good here is Rabo encendido (oxtail stew) among others. But almost everything is good here... rice, beans, sandwiches and batidos. Having a coffee after lunch? Mary's cortadito is very good.... and it doesn't lack presentation either. Cold beers are always available. Thumbs up.

There was deliciously fresh complimentary bread (and complimentary water too, which was amazing to find in Miami). The bread was still hot from the oven, and it was nice and crunchy but still soft. The table had olive oil for the bread too, but I don't think it necessarily needed it because it was so good by itself already. The Valencia Paella had chicken and seafood in it, and I honestly loved the combination. The chicken was cooked perfectly so it was nice and tender and also well-seasoned. The seafood had great flavor, and I really enjoyed trying all the different kinds. I love paella, and I've been looking for a good paella ever since I tried it in Spain for the first time. After debating between a few options in Miami, I was so happy I went with this restaurant because I was very satisfied with their paella. Overall, the food was amazing, and I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The experience couldn't have been better, and I'm already eager to go back to try the Iberian Ham and say hi to Felipe again.
