She then offered salsa but got annoyed that we didn't give her an exact number of how many we wanted. The food was actually really good. Cheesy quesadillas, decent enchilada sauce, even the beans and rice were good. Only complaint was that the carne asada was a bit salty. Now on to the good. On my first visit, all I ordered was the Peanut Butter Protein shake and it wasn't very good. The taste of banana was strong with only a hint of PB. This time around, the flavor profile was much more balanced. So while it has improved, it's still something I feel I could just whip up at home instead of plopping down $6 bucks for. It needs something added to give it a boost. I also gave the food a shot and ordered the, "New York", bagel. It was scrambled egg, bacon, cheese, and ham (I had them hold the ham) sandwiched in between a, you guessed it, bagel. I will admit, it was delicious. Huge, as well. They certainly don't skimp on the serving size. My only complaint was that they used what appeared to be a "Kraft" slice of cheese. I could be wrong, but that's what it looked like to me. I wish they would use a higher quality cheese. The customer service is good. In the few times I've been there I haven't encountered any rude employees. While I feel that there's definitely some improvements that need to be addressed, they're also off to a decent start. Using better quality ingredients, labeling items that contain nuts (for those with allergies), and improving the look & feel of the interior is what I would like to see. I will definitely come back from time to time to try out other menu items.

No delivery was offered to me, just a "when can you come pick it up when I get back?" (We chose to pick the order up instead of her deliver it because there is an additional $15 fee.) I asked for a refund and stated I'd never try to do business with her again. Apparently I was the rude one! I showed up at the designated time and place (on a road that's blocked off completely for construction, so I had to walk to her house a bit) to pick up something I paid for to be gifted to me, on Mother's Day.
