Absolutely pathetic, poor service. Food was wrong, no apology, couldn't even get a refill on drinks or salsa despite asking our waitress numerous times. Anyone with tastebuds would skip this place. This is a nice small family business. They have everything you can want. Fideo (vermicelli) is great! They serve Menudo daily when most places only sell it on the weekends. Very bland Mexican food. If you like Taco Bell, this place is for you! Ordered a la carte, taco and tostada, and they did not offer shredded beef, only GROUND beef. La Mission continues to impress us with there food quality and service. There staff goes well out of there way to make sure that your experience is excellent! There table salsa was a little mild for me and when I asked if they had anything hotter the gentleman (not our server) said he would make me some hotter salsa fresh. I had a steak burrito with the hot green chili covering the burrito. The meat was tender and well seasoned and the green chili added great flavor to the burrito. Overall I think this is the best Mexican place My wife and I have had a meal at as of recently. Keep up the hard work and we are sure to continue coming back! Save your money. I took my husband and 3 kids to La Mission and was really disappointed. We ordered the carnitas platter, one chili relleno, cheese enchilada dinner platter w/rice and beans, tacos al pastor platter w/rice and beans, grilled fish taco platter w/rice and beans, and a kids quesadilla w/fries. The carnitas weren't bad but they were a bit soggy. Carnitas should be moist but still have a nice crisp! The carnitas, as well as the grilled fish tacos were topped with shredded chedder cheese...why?! The relleno was really an oversized anahiem pepper cheese popper; not a chili relleno. The tacos al pastor we're a bit spicier than they should be and really was fried up pork toasted in chili rub. Not roasted on a spit... Close but no. Cheese enchiladas were really the only thing wasn't 100% disappointing. The horchata was good; tasted fresh. Don't drink the prickly pear margarita if you don't want diabetes. I'm not sure if there was any tequila in there. It tasted like some really sweet country time pink lemonade. I stirred it and still too sweet. I couldn't even finish it. Our server was sweet when we she felt like coming to our table. Had to call her back twice to refill drinks and then we had to wait for her by the kitchen to get our check! Wished we had the other waitress on duty. She seemed on it! Anyway, it's a $65 lesson I won't repeat. I'd rather make the drive to Colorado Springs and grab some Taco Express. read more

The food is pretty good. We used to go all the time since we live in falcon and liked good price on beer. That being said, we just came back from there, the price for a pitcher of beer went from an amazing $6.50 up to $12 with no warning. The price of the pitcher is the only reason we would constantly choose this place over the others in the neighborhood. The foods not cheap or out of this world, the beer was the saving grace. That's it for us. Only reason I give it 2 stars is for the kind unfortunate staff. We are a large group of friends who would go here often. What a shame. You guys just lost no less than 20 regulars from our group not including visitors. Hope your 5.50 profit on those pitchers make up for it. read more

This is my wife's favorite restaurant. Our orders are taken quickly, and chips and salsa are provided free while the food is cooking. Food is there before we finish the chips, which are refilled at that time. The staff is very friendly and we have never had a problem there. So I took my Aunt out for a late lunch. I ordered the tilapia tacos with beans and rice. I tried to swallow my first bite of the tilapia taco but it was sooooo fishy. I tried to squeeze a lime on it, but it was such a rancid, scummy pond taste that I spit it out. I have never ever in my 57 years of living have tasted a fish taco I could not stomach. I ate the beans and rice but could not tolerate the two tacos in front of me. I am pretty mild mannered. Knowing that you can get a bad batch of fish, calmly spoke with the waiter. The waiter told me he knew about the fishy taste and he did not like that meal either. I got up to pay the bill and talk to the manager about how bad it tasted. I told him tilapia should not taste like it was soaked in dirty pond water. It is a go to fish for even those who prefer an non-fishy tasting, fresh water white fish and suggested to use a halibut or check into another fish company. The acting manager explain that the real manager was on vacation. They never offered to take it off the bill or substitute it for something else. Of course I paid for it and walked away hungry. I would not recommend this place to my enemy. read more

I would give the food five stars, but the owner is one the rudest waiters I here ever experienced in my life. The food was so good I was willing to over look his arrogant attitude,but after last night it is just not possible. The owner took our order, brought our food and never came back to ask if everything was okay, and it wasn't okay. Our food was so cold we wanted Togo boxes so we could heat it in the microwave at home. I'm very disappointed and unfortunately this was not the first time.
