The crepes were perfect and delicious. They have a variety of options from sweet to savory [I tend to like savory more]. The staff were really friendly and accomodating to our diet restraints. I love the ambiance of the cafe; as someone who has been to Paris it gave the appeal that I was there again. The prices are pretty fair especially compared to some other creperie options in town. Parking however can be a challenge; that part of Selby ave is limited for parking due to so much in that area. It would however be a perfect idea to either walk, bike or even catch uber/lyft and venture to some the neat shops in the area.

The savory crepes are light but filling with some traditional offerings and some less, like L'Italien (pizza crépe). The sweets choices are varied and scrumptious. Light texture, subtle flavor, and some straightforward toppings and other combinations that are show-stopping.

I've since removed myself due to how popular the shop got and recently had an opportunity to revisit. I'm so glad I did! What I once knew as a tiny, cozy shop has expanded into an entire new section directly behind the original space allowing for more guests to visit. This is fantastic! I know the original owners of Cafe Astoria have stepped down, yet I'm pleased to say under the new ownership that many of the original decor and items remain the same from awhile back. The biggest transformations are the larger space, added painted mural, flexible ordering system where you can now order from a QR code at your table or walk up the register, expanded menu that includes brunch all day and items such as breakfast sandwiches and avocado toast. What went from a small crepe and specialty coffeehouse has truly grown. Don't worry the crepes and coffees are all still on the menu. I had the mango smoothie bowl and a mushroom and Swiss crepe - both were outstanding. I even had an iced pumpkin chia. Yum! I look forward to returning. Wifi is good and some people WFH here, but it does get crowded fast on the weekends! The menu is expansive, but the crepes and drinks seem to be the main attractions. They have unique espresso and matcha options, including a secret menu and seasonal items. They do tend to be on the sweeter side. I always get the dirty matcha! My friend enjoyed the campfire mocha and creme brulee in the pasr. The crepes are pretty good - thin, but still soft as crepes should be! I also like the variety. You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu here!

I got the Canadian brunch crepes and the cream puff latte. The crepes were a little crispy without being overcooked, and the filling was delicious. The latte was maybe a little too sweet. The place got a little loud as I was sitting there, and a lot of people came in for to go orders, but the ambiance was still very pleasant. Note that the bathroom has two doors, because they share it with the restaurant next door, so make sure you lock both doors.

We got strawberry crepe with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. So good! The crepe was soft and fluffy and the cornflakes inside added a wonderful crunch. The two employees there were both so welcoming and friendly! We'll be back when we are in the area again.

The pancakes themselves aren't very sweet which really balances the sweet toppings on the Crème Brûlée. When I visited, there was no line at 5pm on a Saturday so service was quick and staff let me know the pancakes would take ~15 min which was accurate. The space itself is pretty small so seating options are limited and a bit cramped. The price on the pancakes was a bit steep at 15.99 but would totally get these again because it's such a unique experience!

We then found out she was the General Manager. We were very impressed that the leadership here leads by example and they step up and do every job. She was a server, at the register and cleaned tables. This is rare these days and not only that she was very high energy and very welcoming. We plan to make another trip to try more items on the menu the food was fantastic and the portion sizes were generous. They also have a beautiful outdoor area.

They have a lot of great sweet options, and I'd love to see more savory especially for breakfast. The family that owns the stand moves quickly and is so helpful when taking, making and delivering your order. The chocolate was very tasty!! The prices are a bit ridiculous in my opinion. It's delicious no doubt. But the service needs an upgrade and the prices need to be dropped a little.

It was a pretty good size so that was good but I got to say spending $20 on a single crêpe felt way overpriced. I was expecting somewhere in the $12-$13 range. I would definitely say it's overpriced. The interior was pretty nice and clean self service as far as putting away your own tray and garbage which is no big deal. There was a couch seating area, which is pretty nice and then then the other side was more like diner tables so kind of a weird vibe inside.
