So, it has now been another 18 days - We were told they were going to order pieces but no confirmation. When you call service if they do not answer it rings and then hangs up. Over the last week we have called over 20 times and had the phone just hand up. Called the switchboard and left a message and were told we would get a return call- 2 days later- nothing. Called the service manager and was sent to voicemail. Bottom line- La Mesa RV Sales lied to us. LaMesa RV Maintenance has done the same thing TAKE your hard earned money SOME WHERE ELSE! read more

This is my message to Phoenix Crusier RV. Save yourself some headaches and heartaches avoid La Mesa at all costs I purchased an 2100 from La Mesa rv. I purchased it with their commitment that you would provide them with the upgrade for larger display and sirus. That did not happen I brought it in for service multiple times. Refrigerator it was not working for very long on LP. They said working fine. Each time I have been in there for service I have had to return it as it was never right. I had outside warranty mirror replaced and they screwed up dash and didn't hook up turning indicator. I called awhen I returned home and they said they would put it right. I explained i was not keeping it in town after extended trip and they said no problem. The service worldwide found the leak that had been there since beginning la Mesa is the worst. We like the RV and recommend it with the caviar not to buy anything from la Mesa. I tried to schedule and appointment and earliest was nov29th. Too late for our trip. I stopped by service rv and they fixed generator, turn signal and Lp leak in a few hours. I suggest you find another dealer. And to matters worse when I said I wanted to have the mirror corrected, their response was we only guarantee our work for 90 days!! read more

Highly DISAPOINTED with La Mesa RV 7525 W. McDowell Rd. I do not even know where to start. After paying $64,546.00 in cash + another $3,990.00 for extra insurance, we never been treated so poorly!!!!!!!!!!! 1. After 3 days in the 2021 Crossroads Cruiser, we woke up to 2 inches of water from broken water line behind refrigerator to the icemaker. 2. How do we know it was the line to icemaker? After many unsuccessful attempts & many unanswered messages left to contact La Mesa RV we had to contact the makers of refrigerator to figure out how to get the icemaker working. The service people did not turn on the water to icemaker. 3. Which brings me to turning on the water outlet value to the icemaker, my husband reached under the kitchen sink to turn valve and the board under cupboard fell because there was one staple holding the board up. 4. Hot water tank will NOT work with electric ONLY propane. Who knows why I can NOT get anyone to answer the phone? 5. Which brings me to the so called "We'll Be Here After You Leave Today!" flyer. For the first 120 days after you purchase RV from La Mesa RV they will continue to provide support at toll free phone number. This is a laughingstock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never answer the phone & now all the sudden they will be out of office till the 12th of July. Why, so they can run the 120 days out. Bought this 2021 Crossroads Cruiser April 30, 2021. We are now at 40 days as of July 10, 2021. 6. A/C unit in living room/kitchen is NOT cold. 7. Gas lines run down the bottom of the frame so we can NOT block up the RV. 8. Why would we need to block up RV you ask? Because electric levelers in the middle will NOT work. Keep getting an ERROR Code. Yes, I have called. 9. And this brings me back to the 120 days we are here for you. We were told by the salesman that just because we live in Flagstaff, AZ they have a mobile unit to come fix this $64,546.00 RV. Outright lie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No names mentioned the lady on the phone yesterday July 9, 2021 told me their mobile unit will cost us $149.00 for the first 50 miles & then $1.00 per mile after that. Do they realize we live 145 miles +? So let me get this right $249.00 for LA Mesa RV to honor their warranty for a brand-new RV. I AM APPALLED!!!!!!!!! Wait folks it gets better. 10. Sewer pipe outlet is put on crooked. Husband had a time hooking sewer up. Yes, we have had an RV for years, so we know what we are doing. 11. Bathroom sink has a drip, make sure you do not leave the drain closed. Or we are going to flood again!!!! 12. Molding by the door was never fixed, we asked multiple times. How hard it to put a couple of staples in the molding? Apparently, extremely hard. 13. Satellite system will not work with the dish system. Why? I can NOT get any answers from anyone. 14. La Mesa RV had a whole month to get this 5th wheel ready for us before we picked it up. We had an appointment at 9 am in morning. We had to wait another 3-4 hrs. for them to get it ready. We have a business also, but apparently our time means nothing to LA Mesa RV. 15. Electronic recliners will NOT work unless I unplug them and reset them. The recliner gets stuck into the up position. LA Mesa RV should be ashamed in the way they have treated us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keystone should be ashamed of having LA Mesa RV as one of their dealers. Keystone should cancel their contract with LA Mesa RV, with this kind of service we would never treat our valued customers this way. For the price we paid for this RV we are HIGHLY DISSAPPOINTED! Never, ever go to LA Mesa RV for a new RV you will get the shaft in the end but only after they receive their money! Updating to date 12/14/21 on the new 2021 Crossroads Cruiser made by Keystone. 16. Had a water leak under 5th wheel, Guess what, Keystone did NOT even attempt to hook up the drain pipe on shower also noticed absolutely NO INSULATION UNDER 5TH WHEEL!!!!!! I AM SURE THERE IS MORE TO COME!!!!! Sadly, disappointed in LA Mesa RV 7525 W McDowell Phoenix AZ, Sherrie Williams read more

This is in regards to my neighbor that just returned from a summer away. They have a 2023 35' RV from LaMesa and when he went to set the jacks to level and unload etc the jacks wouldn't drop. He called them and a woman answered after he explained what the issue was she said "not our problem take it to Ford. BUYER BEWARE... I am at a loss. Long story, short - we had wall separation that caused damages to our 2019 Thor Miramar 37.1. La Mesa RV has washed their hands of it, w/the Customer Relations Manager, literally telling me "good luck, I hope you can work it out w/Thor" and Thor is covering some but not all of the damages. See my last email correspondence below. I've cc'd https://www.azfamily.com/news/investigations/3_on_your_side/ too for help since https://www.lamesarv.com/phoenix-west-motorhomes-rvs?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=GMB&utm_content=GMB-Phx won't do anything to help me get this covered. The structural warranty is 3 years, 36K miles (we were at 2 yrs 7 mo and 20K) BTW, there's TSB for this issue on several models, including ours. Hi Brittany (Thor Customer Service Rep @ Coach Link Support Team) - I just received a message from Juliana that the items requested have been denied. I am having difficulty understanding why the warranty for the wall separation that caused all of these issues is not allowing the coverage for all of the repairs necessary. The passenger side wall, kitchen countertop, entry door, compartment door and step motor were fixed but the bent and gouged steps and bent screen door and bent/buckled molding around the door aren't??? Why is that? This wall separation that fell down, bent my entire door frame, causing my entry door to not open/close properly, bent my door frame, bent my screen door, put pressure on my steps, causing the motor to not work properly and bent/gouged my steps and bent/cracked the paint on my compartment door. I need someone at Thor to look at this again and if not reconsidered, I need an explanation that I can share with all of the other Thor owners that have been telling me that "Thor will take care of you" as to why our 3 year structural warranty covers the motor that pulls the steps in/out but won't replace the bent steps that are damaged, fixed the door but not the screen door or the bent/buckled molding around the door is not covered. As I mentioned in my phone call w/Julianna yesterday, I can live with the aesthetic issues that I'm left w/on the side of our brand new 2019 coach but leaving us with a defective screen door and damaged steps does not make sense. As for the window shade, we had to pay to have that replaced just days prior to finding out that it was caused by the wall falling down (service date 6/10, paid for in full 7/13, wall fell down on 7/18) and the kitchen countertop and backsplash have both been repaired, poorly but the countertop/backsplash was covered & both have been repaired. The very fact that they are being denied in this request shows me that someone isn't paying attention to the big picture here. These are not standard bumper to bumper, 1 year warranty items. These are all damages caused from the wall separation and poor workmanship, not even just the standard structural coverage here, there's a TSB (technical service bulletin the placement of the screws to attach the wall. *Technical Service Bulletins, or TSBs, document recommended procedures for repairing vehicles, issued by a vehicle manufacturer when there are several occurrences of an unanticipated problem. It's bad enough that I've had deplorable customer service at La Mesa RV, here in Phoenix but to have Thor not honor the warranty and all the damages caused from the poor construction of the 2019 Thor Miramar 37.1 and from what I'm told by the Thor service advisor, the Outlaw models are affected too, is unacceptable. I'm requesting that you take this to a manager, supervisor and/or someone in a senior level management position for reconsideration. And again, if denied - please, explain to all of us, why some some items/damages are covered but I'm left with bent and damaged entry access to my 2 1/2 year old Thor motor coach that was caused by a wall separation. I'm looking forward to hearing back from you soon. I'm yes, I'm open to suggestions on who I can contact to help me, feel free to call/text or comment. Shari K. Yates 602-625-9949 read more

I'll keep this simple. My RV has been in their shop for more months in 2022 than I had it in my possession. They come up with every excuse there is: waiting on extended warranty authorization (call warranty, they have no record of getting called by La Mesa), parts are back ordered (manufacturer says they shipped the parts the day after they were ordered...they were ordered last week when dealer says they've "been waiting weeks.") Utterly disappointing service from them. It's always another excuse and the service manager (Phil) obviously isn't engaged at all in his business. read more

We wanted to give a shout out to Zenus Pridgen a service consultant that we work with for all repairs on our RV. This company has many disgruntled customers mostly related to service. We never understood why a successful RV dealer would have so many unhappy customers sitting around in the lobby or outside on the patio seats. Many of them unhappy with just the service they provide. Dear Buyer Beware, We recently bought a 2020 Thor Quantum RV from La Mesa RV at their show at West World. The experience was pleasant and professional while we were buying our new RV at the show. Unfortunately, this ended quickly. We were told in writing that the chassis of the RV was a 2019 and when we went to insure it, we found out it was a year older. We contacted La Mesa and after a rather tense conversation, they agreed to reimburse $1,000. When we received the paperwork to release the funds, it also included language releasing them from any and all rights we might have as a buyer - way beyond what we agreed to on the phone. I spoke with a manager (Jay Castro) and he said they would only reimburse us for their mistake if we signed the document waiving all our rights. You can imagine my surprise when he said, 'When we do something like this, we want to be done with you forever'. Nice comment after we spend $95,000 with them. Additionally, during orientation we were told we had a 15 day warranty on the RV. I told the gentleman who was doing the orientation that we would be heading out in a few days and would check everything out. He gave us the 800 service number. Sure enough, we discovered several issues during our first trip. When we called the service department, they said the warranty was only on the drivetrain, which Mercedes already covers for 60,000 miles and 5 years. They pointed out we signed something that said we do not have any additional warranty, and in looking through the paperwork, they are correct. But this does not excuse the fast-talking delivery manager from saying the opposite and acknowledging that I was going to come back to him with a list after my first trip. Had this been communicated properly, I would have checked over the rig in detail and not taken delivery till than. I would have discovered that the refrigerator had issues, the hot water heater did not work consistently and several other problems. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere when considering buying an RV and even than, make sure nothing is misrepresented or passed over. Steve read more

We said goodbye to our 2019 Entegra Qwest that has served us well across the 35,000 miles cross country trip to 35 states. Our kids got to say hi to the Presidents on Mount Rushmore on Independence Day last year. They got to see George Washington's boyhood home, and the very church in Alabama where MLK pastored. All thanks to the beautiful and dependable Qwest with the large window over the cab where you could see the stars and the moon at night, Anyone looking for a Mercedes Benz Diesel engine over a Sprinter 3500 chassis, come to La Mesa RV and check out our Entegra Qwest, Meanwhile, we said hello to a gorgeous Thor Palazzo. It has hidden loft (or drop down bunk bed) which our kids will love. Jeff Ridgeway, our salesman, and Sales Manager Neil Criba, went above and beyond to make our purchase experience a great one. We drove 5hrs to get to Phoenix for this purchase having only seen the unit online. We went by faith that it would be everything we saw online. The reality was it was more beautiful than we expected. Freddy and the Service Team did an amazing job detailing the interior, as well as the walk-through and orientation. Upon delivery, they even had a red bow on the side of our A class to welcome us. Such a nice touch! Too bad we were so tired from the drive and subsequent move of all our stuff from our trade-in into the new unit that we didn't have time to take a picture of the bow. I am not one to usually leave a review for a company I did not purchase anything from, but felt that was necessary. First off, on our visit there the sales person was less than helpful and as others mentioned, they bash their competitors to say they work on commission and La Mesa RV does not. Assuming that is really even true, maybe La Mesa RV should change that to motivate their sales people to learn about the products they sell. Interested in one of their units, I called and asked about getting a generator installed at time of purchase. The sales person was confused and told me he did not think the model I mentioned was prepped for it. I had already done tons of research to know that it was. He offered to call me back after checking with Service. I agreed. On the call back he informed me that the model was not prepped for a generator and jumped right into trying to tell me a slightly bigger model would be prepped. Ultimately the quote to install a generator (in a unit that was prepped for but they claim it is not was $8,000) and the generator itself costs about $3,000 (Cummins Onan 4K). I called a different dealer about the generator for the same RV and was greeted with a nice salesman who told me that this unit prepped for a generator and they would gladly help install it, but recommended I just do it myself to save labor costs. Did not even have to talk to service to makeup a ridiculous quote. La Mesa RV lost my business and I do not think they should get yours either. read more

If I could leave a 0 I would. Leaving 1 star gives way too much credibility. Picked up my 2022 Winnebago Minnie on 5/20. During delivery I noticed an issue with the dining room table seat and missing upholstery button. No biggie, assured it was noted and would be taken care of. Upon arrival home, also noticed the roof ladder was crimped/damaged so I immediately called and left a message with the delivery team. You can only leave a message because nobody ever answers the phones there. No return phone call or acknowledgement of my message, Following weekend 5/28 I had my trailer out at a campground for the first time and was assured I would always have assistance if I needed it. I called for technical support at 4:00pm (open until 6:00pm per message) and never got a call back until the following Tuesday afternoon. Way to look out for your customer. To sum it up and be succinct, I have contacted Kristie Gallardo with the "Customer Relations" two times now via email and also talked to her on the phone back in mid June. She assured me that local phoenix associate, James LeMaster, would call me to give me updates and rectify the outstanding issues. I specifically asked for the outstanding delivery issues to be addressed and for a quote for a second battery installation. As of 7/20, I still have not been whole, received a call back, been scheduled for repairs or even talked to a person who have a single F*** about my customer experience. Sad! Really sad service! It's too bad because my sales experience with Harry Carroll was amazing and I sincerely believed that he thought his company takes care of customers after delivery. We were told about the family business and how much we would be taken care of after the sale. Definitely not the case in our experience. Highly recommend you go elsewhere or demand issues be fixed before delivery. Personally, I would just stay away. read more

purchased a brand new 2024 Entegra Esteem class C motorhome on 4/5/2024 from La Mesa RV in Phonex, AZ. We live about 850 miles away in Texas. The unit was supposed to have been checked out and paid $995. For this service. After arriving home we discovered many problems. The batteries were completely dead. First it was the inverter was not ever turned on under the bed. Second the converter was not plugged in. Once plugged in found out it was a BAD converter. We purchased a replacement converter off Amazon which entegra will reimburse us for. After installing new converter still would not charge batteries. After hours of working on this brand new unit found that underneath the chassis the ground wire had never been connected. This dealership has an F rating and I understand why. Further more this dealership is not responding to our text or emails. Update.. Well it's been 2 work days since I emailed etiras like you ask me to do. If you really cared about your customers and trying to do everything to address my concerns and problems you wouldn't just say it in your response that you were going to address my concerns you actually would do it. ** BUYERS BEWARE... DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM LA MESA ** Worst experience hands down - Please do not fall in their trap. They are a sleezy, blood thirsty, con artists. They only have one mission sell RVs as fast as they can before you realize what you got taken for. Hopefully sharing my experience will make you think twice about even walking on their lot or attending one of their shows. We attended one of their shows with the intent to find a vehicle in which we could spent more time together as a family. I have High School daughter, Middle School son, and toddler. Road trips are tough crammed in a car, with kids getting older wanted to enjoy the journey more getting to where we were headed. Never owned an RV or ridden in one. Well that was music to the "salesman's" ears. Every picture he painted was a far cry from reality. The coach was beautiful inside, lot of room for the kids. They loved it. Since it was literally in the middle of the showroom at the show we DID NOT HAVE THE OPTION TO TEST DRIVE IT. Not normally something I'd do, but for the ridiculous price and salesman description that it road like a dream, these things increase in value due to limited supply because of covid, yada, yada, yada... We bought it. Blindly, clearly blindly. Within 30 days we took our first road trip. Discovered several flaws in the coach (of course you never know until your drive it for a length of time, clearly none of them "covered in their warranty" which is a whole other tangent we could discuss that is sleezy). But the biggest concern is the fact that this coach rides rough. So rough that I was the sickest I have ever been. My teenage daughter in the same physical state. This clearly will not work for our family. Reached out to La Mesa, describe the situation. They absolutely could careless that I just spent a fortune on and could not use. But "kindly" offered to rebuy it from me for $25k less than what I just paid 30 days prior. You complete scoundrels. You knew exactly what you just did, found some unsuspecting buyer to unload this on without a test drive and then completely eff them over after I put $15k down just to cover licensing and taxes and want me to give it back to you for $25k less than I currently owe after 30 days. I thought maybe this buyer is just misinformed. 3 months later, supervisor after supervisor, customer service after customer service. Only message I heard. We have to make a profit of at least $15,000 on it. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM REITERATED. The Buyers have told us our best bet is to just take their deal. Yet I had one of their own sales managers tell me it would be much easier and cost effective for me to sell it on my own, because, you guessed it they HAVE to make $15,000 minimum on a unit.  So, an RV I've owned for (well I guess 4 months now) is going to cost me $40k so you can continue to make a profit by selling to any unsuspecting victim. I have reached out to customer service, joke as well, and they said what the buyers were offering was more than they could even say yes to. I go back to buyers to get the price we negotiated up to and then they come back with a number $10,000 less than that! La Mesa RV I can't wait until karma catches up with you and your unethical business practices! The fact that you can't do right by one customer because, in your own words, you wont be able to make enough money. This unit was sold to us less than 6 months ago and I'm sure you made at least $15,000 then. Now you want to offer us a number to where you can make another $15-20K on based on what your sales manager told me he would list it at is absurd. For anyone reading this... If you want an RV... BUY IT FROM A PRIVATE SELLER!!!! SAVE YOURSELF $40k They don't stand by what is wrong with them in the first place, they will lie, cheat and tell you literally anything for you to buy it and the second you sign that paper you are NOTHING to them. read more

You can buy it here but watch that pitch about selling you the extended warranty. Mobile unit is a plus, any time...lmao. just say no, I am looking at 2 weeks to get a mobile unit. The sales person was great, very helpful but the service I give ZERO. Every thing these guys touched was a failure, redo. Try to reach service for a callback is just hit n miss, more a miss. You are lucky if you hear back at all. I purchased a new and these folks at the Phoenix service have been a disaster. I have so many pictures, before and after. You should see my door repair. The door was hard to pull shut and latch. These guys took a hammer to it, flipped the female part of latch over, hammer and you could not bolt lock. I was told they completely had to remove frame and no did not use a hammer, they fixed it right...BS! I HAVE PICTURES. My black tank after they got ahold of it leaked, yes my black tank. I can back everything Update - sept 14, 2021 Manager of service called yesterday ( sept 13, 2031 ) and would like to take care of my door, get the rating up. He asked if icould bring it in to.look at door. I could not bring in due to my tow vehicle was in shop. I picked up my truck today and called the service twice, left message but have not heard back at this time. Update - sept 16, 2021 The service received was excellent. I finally got in, thanks to the Service Manager Xavier Carrillo. Xavier stayed on top of it the whole time. They did several repairs in about 2 hours. They even did maintenance on a few things that were repaired in previous drop offs. My question, why did I not receive this service in previous visits and maybe the need to return would be limited, right? The door, I hope it holds but it finally shuts and locks... thank you! Mike has called me back maybe 3 times out of about 20 attempts, and all HOURS later while I have been at work. I ended up going with another dealer in town that answered their phone and scheduled me on the first attempt. This place cares about selling you a 100K RV, but not taking care of you afterwards. read more

My uncle just bought a new camper van from another location but stopped in here because something wasn't working right. The service department told him to pull up the van and within minutes the problem was solved. We walked inside the showroom and the sales guys were nice. We had a dog and a kid with us which they didn't mind. The best part is they let me use the employee microwave! read more

La Mesa RecVan - Phoenix - RV Dealers Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Customer service has been a real disappointment. I realize during Covid getting things done is a challenge but service at La Mesa in Phoenix West is terrible. If you are purchasing a new RV and expecting to have solid service as a result of your purchase you will want to look elsewhere. read more

While I have seen not everyone is happy with La Mesa service department, in fairness, I need to give them a top rating. I was within 100 miles of my warranty expiring after returning from a 7,000-mile trip this summer and I had several items to be repaired. Due to illness of a family member in Wisconsin and a trip to Texas upon my return from providing care to her, my window of repair was very narrow. Frank Troutman was my service adviser and he ensured that he fully understood each item, carefully documented them, and kept me advised as to the progress being made. Frank is a great adviser and an even better person. I picked up my motorhome today as promised. Thanks La Mesa. Five-star service for me. read more

It's sad to see these negative reviews. I've been camping for 40 years. I've bought more than 20 RVs the last two from La Mesa in Phoenix. The RV business is fraught with poor quality and poor service. However you're not going to get a better price anywhere than here. So buying anywhere else is foolish. I have purchased 12 RVs from TJ he has always been honest and direct. He's a man of character. I'd recommend him to my closest friends. Neal the manager is truly salt of the earth. James helped me work through problems after hours. Seriously this is the place to buy. read more
