We have eaten here several times in the last few months and love the food. It has always been good, and we keep going back. We love "our" waitress, Kaylee. She is the sweetest! All staff is very nice, and the restaurant is very clean. Highly recommend La Mesa if you like Mexican food.

La Mesa en la Calle Waldron en el pueblo de Fort Smith es la mas bonita y deliciosa restarante del mundo. Cuando yo como la bisteca y camarones me siento muy agradable y tengo la fuerza de los toros.

Right in the middle of Rogers Avenue is the best Mexican food in Fort Smith!

Brand new location in addition to the Highway 271 location!! If you have never ventured out to Highway 271, to try La Mesa, you are missing out. Don't worry, because now you can hit La Mesa right on Waldron Road across from the mall off Rogers Avenue. Margaritas are $1.99 a lot of the time and the food is better than any other chain or local chain here in NWA. We love the Carne Asada fries, Nicole's Special, and any other many varieties of fajitas. The service is amazing. I've never had an empty cup or a dirty plate on my table for very long at all!

Upon moving to Arkansas, I've been on the search for a solid authentic Mexican restaurant to dine at. Tonight, my search ended. El Mariachi is absolutely amazing! Located on the south west side of Fort Smith, you get a combination of awesome tasting food, delicious drinks, a choice of different heat level salsas, and all at very reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I had the street taco plate, with al pastor and carnitas meats with a side of refried beans and Mexican rice - which is all made fresh daily in house. I also tend to judge a Mexican restaurant very hard on the quality of their salsa. The regular salsa is tasty, if you ask for their tomatillo salsa, it is hotter and flavorful with a hint of chipotle pepper in the background, and for those brave enough to try it, the Diablo salsa has just the right amount of heat if eaten in small amounts. I also had a top shelf margarita, which for the price point they have it at was perfectly made and enjoyed. In the end, I had to try their flan. I will state, this is probably some of, if not The best flan I've ever eaten. If you are looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food in a comfortable restaurant setting, look no further and give them a try; you won't regret it!
