Quaint Italian restaurant. Service was attentive and friendly even though we were a rowdy bunch of 15. Everything was above average and straight up Italian... they have a dish that was made in a cheese wheel, but it broke and they had not gotten a replacement for it from Italy yet :( .. I'll go back just to try that

Arguably one of the best meals we had while in BA. This quaint family restaurant was recommended to us by our butler at the Hyatt. From the moment we set foot in this restaurant, we felt like we were treated like family. Greeted with menus, daily specials and an English speaking host, we could not have asked for more. Wine list - ask for recommendation. I have no clue what we had, but it was fabulous. The burrata - To Die For. You have not had burrata until you have it here. They were so gracious enough to let me order off the menu. My favorite thing is pappardelle with tomato sauce and cheese. Success! My husband had fresh fish that was cooked do tender in a Portuguese pot, he said it was his favorite dish of the trip. Highly recommended.

It was great to dine outside on a balmy summer night. Italian food done right. The wild pig Agnolotti were fantastic as was the octopus.

Situated in the Recoleta neighborhood, it's known for its house-made pastas. And, ultimately, yes, I was grown up enough to eat there, although, since I'm not a wine drinker, I felt I was missing out on the total experience. The decor of the restaurant is very elegant with lots of wood. We dined on the second level and were treated to an excellent view of the diners below. Being as there weren't many non-alcoholic drink options I had water. This is one area of opportunity. I would've loved to have something like a fruity cocktail to complement my dish. As an appetizer, we had the Corn Polenta with Prawns. It was an interesting dish with tender prawns and a seafood broth poured over the polenta. Very good. For my entree, I had a very rich pasta dish called Tagliatelle with Creamy Spinach and Ham. This was a delicious dish- let me tell you, the standout was the ham which was very mild and not heavily salted. That dish was a 5/5! For dessert I chose the Panna Cotta, it was a little too sweet for my liking. We also passed on the complementary Limoncello at the end. Overall, I really enjoyed our visit to Sottovoce, the main dish was spectacular, but the other elements bookending the main were a little less than spectacular. Nonetheless, I would definitely return for the Tagliatelle, but next time try a different appetizer and dessert.

Originally, we had not planned to eat here, but a torrential downpour came out of nowhere left us stranded and hungry in the vicinity of the mall, and this seemed like a good place. Even though Quotidiano is in the mall, the entrance from inside the mall is closed, so you have to enter through the street entrance. Now, to characterize Quotidiano would be to say it's part bakery, part Italian and all deliciousness! The pasta was freshly made and serve a perfect al dente. We tried the Puttanesca Tagliatelle and fried ravioli- all of which was great! I was also having a bit of a sweet tooth moment and ordered a banana shake, which was the BEST BANANA SHAKE of my entire life! The atmosphere is great, it was busy and the smalls in the air were intoxicating- you know you're in for a treat when the air in the restaurant is fragrant and in a way is a glimpse into the meal itself. The service was a little inattentive at times, but given that there was a massive rainstorm going on, and the power flickered on and off a few times; I'd assume there was other stuff going on behind the scenes. No biggie. We needed to ride out the storm anyway, so no worries about that. It was also fun to look at other diners plates and appreciate all the beautiful and tasty dishes they were eating. Quotidiano is definitely an incredible restaurant and I would definitely be back in a heartbeat. The food was extraordinary and I'm so glad we happened upon it.

It was more soft and doughy than I expected. Most quiche crust is a short crust pastry and tends to be crumbly, and this crust was decidedly not that. It felt like I was eating bread. I didn't mind, personally. It was very filling and I ended up taking half of it home. The lettuce it came with was fresh. They provide you fresh olive oil and salt. Like most dishes I've had in Argentina, I find that I need to add salt or black pepper to enhance the existing flavors. Unfortunately, there was no black pepper provided at this restaurant. The pasta was supposed to be a ziti with a mushroom sauce but as you can tell from the pictures - this was not ziti. It was cooked well, and I liked that they grated the Parmesan for you, but it was an average tasting pasta dish. Ambiance was nice and casual. Service was friendly.
