Decided to dine here after looking for a place that served an "American" breakfast that included all the fixings that I'm "used to". The place was full when my friend and I walked up so we ate outside - the seating was tight. Regarding the food, I ordered the avocado toast meal and my friend ordered the vegetarian meal, minus the cheese. We both enjoyed our meal and the price was reasonable. We discovered this place thanks to Yelp, it was a few minutes from our flat, very close and other than the queue (must be good if there is one) we as top notch. Would give it a five, but really all we had was some warmed street food and cappuccino and London fogs. Service is friendly even at the crazy pace they work at. Order what you want, get your ticket, go pay, and moments later your order is ready. The tables fill quickly, and expect a queue as mentioned. The place is decorated with stuff for sale, be it foodstuffs, or trinkets. What it really is, is a place that you can grab pretty darn good food at a reasonable price to get your Roman morning going on! read more

Believe the reviews this place is phenomenal! A small little cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. It is a little cramped inside but you forget about it once the food and drinks arrive! The cappuccino is likely the best I've had in Roma. The pastries were all very light and the creams in the pastries were all flavorful. The pancakes were too good to be true. Not spongy or overly airy. They were just the right amount of sweetness. If you're more of an egg person, they have eggs and they are fluffy and creamy! This is a place that I found on Yelp. Most of the patrons are local Italian's. You are supposed to go in, order and take a seat upstairs. Only speaking English, we sat down. One of the employees suggested to another "Please go help the Americans." They were very nice. Cappuccino and fresh orange juice was great. we were fortunate enough to stay super close to La Licata during our time in Rome and it came in super clutch!! since we were very busy during the day it was really important for us to get in some filling and nourishing breakfasts. although it would have been nice to have a traditional Italian breakfast (cappuccino e cornetto), that wasn't going to cut it for us since we were walking 25k+ steps a day!! also the food was delicious!!! I thought this place was just okay. We had a reservation and had to wait in line for a bit but we were first to get sat. I had the avocado toast and a passion fruit aperol spritz and my boyfriend got the veggie omelette. My meal was very bland but my drink was great. My boyfriend enjoyed his omelette but said it was just okay. I think we are spoiled with San Diego brunches back home so this meal was nothing special to us. The service was just okay too. She did take our order promptly but she was not smiling and seemed like she wanted to be anywhere else. There is a nice view of the Colosseum if you sit outside. What a great little cafe! They waiter suggested the vegan breakfast and I'm glad he did. The carrot cake was not like American carrot Cake but still very good! The fruit fresh and delicious. The croissant was perfect. My cappuccino was so good, so much so that I had to have another. The orange juice is fresh squeezed, I normally don't like OJ because it's acidic but this was tasty. It seemed to get very busy inside and they have limited seating but it moves pretty fast. You may even see a dog or two stop in with their owners grabbing a coffee. We came here for a quick breakfast before sightseeing in Rome. It has a lot of tables and the service is great. The waiter speaks great English and was able to go through the entire menu with us. I ordered the Tomato and Mozzarella Panini. Although it is cheap, it is a very mediocre panini. The tomato is quite bland and the mozzarella is not very tasty either. The bread is absolutely fantastic though and did save the sandwich to some extent. Overall, not too many great options for vegetarians. I also ordered a Caffe Chocoliato and it was really good.
