The place is always busy, which means the chicken is fresh instead of sitting under heat lamps and drying out like it does at slower spots. The same goes for the yuca. There's plenty of seating if you want to dine in, and since you pay upfront, there's no tipping required. I did notice they started adding a $3 service fee for takeout today, which I hope they reconsider. Overall, the food is consistently excellent, and the kiosks make ordering quick and convenient.

One of the managers came over to check on us and offer menu ideas. Truly, everyone was very nice and welcoming. Decor was festive and cute though the music was a bit on the loud side. My dad got pozole. He loves that dish and loves it spicy. He remarked at the bland taste. My mom got chicken taquitos. She said they were fine, but lacked enough sour cream and there was no guacamole with it. I got Cancun Tacos. It was supposed to have this: Grilled shrimp flour tortilla tacos, baja style, topped with chipotle cole slaw, pico de gallo, guacamole and cheese, served with rice and beans. I just asked them to use corn tortillas, not flour. It took two people 4 conversations to get that clear. What I got was sautéed baby shrimp, iceberg lettuce in a thousand island type dressing and some watery salsa in cold corn tortillas. No cheese or guacamole. Overall, the food was all very bland and overpriced in my opinion. We wanted to try a new place and my parents love Mexican food.
