Brownie (GF,vegan,raw)

Amazing food with GF and vegan options in a beautiful space in Tulum. Got the Tacos and a brownie but there was so much more.

5 stars for service, quick and friendly! 5 stars for my gin torro, great cocktail! 5 stars for the location, it was so close to so many other cool spots. The food... was interesting. I want to preface by saying I'm not vegan, but I grew up vegetarian and have had food at vegan restaurants all over the world, it's kind of a hit or miss for me. We ordered the Tofu curry and the falafel platter. 3.5 stars for the falafel platter - it's redeeming quality was the falafel and the vegan tzatziki. The falafel was well seasoned and well cooked, the tzatziki brought life to an otherwise bland platter. None of the other sides really stood out to me. 3 stars for the Thai curry - I don't understand it, it was barely seasoned and kind of bland. Again, None of the flavors really stood out to me, and I didn't feel like going through the whole bowl. Overall, I don't understand the hype behind this. I would not recommend it to a friend (unless you're vegan lol)

I expected more. This is vegan place, it was empty during lunch time but I didn't want to judge and the google reviews said this is a great place. Vibe is good. Went in and ordered a pizza with pesto tomato, it didn't even look appetizing. I honestly felt the bread dough was really still raw. Service was okay but felt like they are watching us like hawks because we were only ones. Glad we didn't order anything more.

Lovely, open view location in the center of Tulum. Hearty, fresh vegan & vegetarian options from burgers to smoothies. Crafty items for purchase as well. Service was welcoming, pleasant & prompt. I felt like I made a good choice. A street musician even stopped to serenade patrons. Temp checks & hand sanitizer at the entrance. Gracias, ~Christy

Coconut mango lassi to die for!

After searching yelp for a while, i decided to give this place a try although i was craving fish. It was the best decision of the day. Absolutely delicious flavors, pleasant service, and the best smoothies in town. Especially the coconut mango lassi, but also El Poderoso with coffee and banana. The beetroot humus on the green bread with ghoat cheese and avocado itself would be enough for 5 stars. We'll return!

This place gets a solid 4 stars. The food comes out very fast and I wonder how they do it. There's a good variety of gluten free options and juices. It's a decent vegan and vegetarian spot. I used to come here quite often but haven't felt called to go back since, probably because I tried everything on the menu there was to try.

Love the food options & the food was amazing. We got tacos (trio) & coliflor. Esperanza drink & mango lassi

Sometimes when you are on vacation you enter a gluttonous state....who are we kidding..that's what vacation is for. Well Tulum really brought it out of me from Mezcal to gelato for breakfast. It was only on my last day where I felt I needed to use a recharge. La Hoja Verde (the Green Leaf) would be my vegetarian adventure. I ordered the carrot-orange-beet juice. This would be a fortune in NY but in Mexico it's a couple bucks. Literally like $2. It was just as refreshing and delicious as I'd hoped. MOVE OVER - Avocado Toast!!! The sope with creamy avocado and roasted plum tomatoes was hands down incredible. I could eat this every day. It taste super fresh. I loved the pepitas on the masa cake. A sope is normally a thinner, flatter masa cake but I love the thick version. I asked the waiter if it was a large dish. He said it was not. I will say it definitely is. I could have had this dish and a side salad. Instead I ordered the falafel. The falafel comes with potatoes. It was a little heavy for me. I should have ordered the "Plato Hoja Verde". It's more falafel balls with humus and tabbouleh. I prefer to have little nibbles. The place is beautiful bright and oozes that modern hippie vibe. I recommend this spot for a little change in the glutton glory of vacation.

Best food I had in Mexico!. The food tasted so fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this spot for any vegan or non vegan. It is a MUST when visiting Tulum.

Trio of tacos

This is a totally vegan restaurant and the prices were soooo good! I got the trio of tacos so it came with Barbacoa, pastor and mushrooms. Flavor was great and tortillas were fresh and soft. Overall good flavors!

HIDDEN GEM!!!! Oh, my goodness! You guys! This is one of those experiences where I was literally walking down the street looking for something to eat and I saw the sign VEGAN! For those of us who are or occasionally like to eat vegan you KNOW how difficult it is to find true vegan restaurants with an array of REAL, DELICIOUS, NUTRIENT DENSE, COLORFUL food, and the plus- a great price! The menu goes on forever! Most vegan places have a few select choices this place has breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My ONLY regret is finding it on the LAST day of my trip... (the tears). I ordered a green juice Fresh fruit w/ honey and granola (however, I wasn't notified until after I ordered and paid that they were out of granola) but still 5 stars! Empanadas (OMG!!) There was so much to choose from I only wish I had more room to put it or more days to enjoy it. Everything was delicious! A real menu!!

Pasta bolognese
Risa T.

This place is a great vegan/vegetarian option in Tulum. I had the pasta Bolognese and it was delicious. The decor of the restaurant is so vibrant and welcoming and they have ample seating. All of the servers wear masks and they are also priced very fair. They have so many options for breakfast lunch and dinner!

Originally we tried to make reservations, but they said it was not possible, it it was completely empty when we arrived around 10 am on a Sunday morning ( could also be it was election weekend ). It was like we had the entire place to ourselves anyway for the first 45 minutes. The backyard was super cute and they offered free drinking water as well. Very laid back and nothing fancy. Between the 6 girls we ordered everything to share and we loved every single dish Hummus -- This dish was beautiful lots of color and easy to share Mushroom Ceviche : Easily one of our favorite dishes and would come back for this item! Packed full of interesting flavors and the hot sauces are amazing. Especially that white one, it has a huge kick! Huevos Rancheros -- Fried Eggs on top of tortilla with bean cheese spinach and lots of yummy stuff! Basically what you expect it to be and delicious Tofu a la Mexico-- Scrambled tofu served with rice, avocados, and tortillas. we all grabbed some of the tortillas and filled them with the scramble tofu and items it came with. I would recommend this one. Enchiladas -- This item confused us, maybe we didn't order the correct item? But it almost felt like a deconstructed enchilada.... which made us sad. But the flavors were delicious, Avocado Toast -- Your basic avocado toast, nothing too special. It was very pretty. Of all the dishes I had to ask someone to pass the salt and also put hot sauce on it lol. Molecito Corazon -- Roasted Cauliflour steak covered in homemade mole, with sweet potatoe purée, brown rice and avocado! This item was very hearty and interesting. The mole sauce was delicious and great item if you are hungry and want something on the heavier side! We also ordered some of the frozen drinks and coffee, I would recommend ordering regular or ice coffee but the frozen drinks are not bad! Overall we loved all the items! If you are looking for a vegetarian restaurant or just healthy brunch with recipes you've never seen, I definitely recommend this place! Will not disappoint.

We walked up for brunch timeframe and were told it would be 10-15 minutes, they had plenty of seating to wait BUT it was really only 3-4 minutes which was perfect. They have an open air concept, and we sat in back which was like a little magical garden area with a creek running through it. It was so adorable, and so tropical. Their drink menu was tasty, we got a couple of their mezcal drinks which low key were probably the best in all of Playa. Unique, fresh, and delicious. The food was incredible. My husband got a shrimp dish, it came with some very unique and creamy potatoes and a sauce that was so flavorful. I got a classic Chilaquiles dish that had so much flavor, but all the ingredients tasted so fresh and amazing. And almost a whole avocado on top which was insane. Such a great experience. We weren't rushed, taken care of, fantastic food and drink. I can see why it's highly rated.

If you're in Tulum, I do think it's worth stopping by and checking out this place. If for nothing else, the ambience and the service. They are some of the nicest people we met in Mexico and everything presented was beautiful. I mean look at the art work for that french toast! Yes, that's french toast under that beautiful strawberry design. The mushroom quiche was good, but needed a little more flavor including salt. Like I said, probably just my taste buds. The coffee fell a little flat for me. I ordered an iced latte. My husband had a flat white and liked his for the most part. I love that they have live musicians stop by - there was a flute player and a guitar player in the short hour we were there and both were so good.
