If you want to taste an authentic piece of Mexico, this your place. It may be a bit out of the way but the food is so fresh and well made. There are so many options from Huaraches to Tacos . Don't forget to pick up a bottle of Boing that is similar to aguas frescas - Guayaba or Mango. ¡Delicioso!! Pick up or take out Social distancing enforced ¡Buen provecho!

Cubana Torta & Coke

I put a spell on you... La Hechicera (or Enchantress) is a bewitching place full of the great street food of Mexico as well as many of the Caribbean islands. Here you can find Tacos, Tortas (sandwiches made with large loaf of bread), huaraches (like a torta but only using the bottom part of the loaf), and tons of other goodies. This is not Subway, the food here is tasty comfort food. With ingredients such as sausage, beans, avocado, cheese, ham, carnitas, carne al pastor, nopales (cactus), rajas (cut roasted poblano peppers), ham, just to name a few. My fave things is the specialty, the tortas. I usually get the Cubana (Cuban), it's filled with a slather of refried beans, large breaded steak, ham, cheese, avocado, tomato and mayo. This is no small meal, I can only usually eat half and it's pretty cheap at about $6. They also have not only Mexican Coca-Cola, but also Pepsi as well as many other Mexican sodas and Dublin Dr. Pepper in the bottle. Full stomach = spellbound.

Fajita machete with beans & guac

False advertisement.. I ordered a machete. on the menu it looked filled with guac, beans & meat and when I received the plate it was completely different. Let me say it's a bit over priced as well for what they serve. Do the cooks receive bonus for giving out less ? ..

**** plates can feed two people*** Considering they don't serve rice and beans their plates are huge!! Food was pretty good but the BIG FALL is no prices on the menu had I known I would pay 1.50 for 3 slices of Avacado and a 1.00 for a scoop of sour cream I would have reconsidered. Overall not bad I will probably come back

The Finch - Cocktails: Salt & Pepper Martini

Have you ever just needed to relax after a long week of working?! This is the place…read more The Finch is a relaxing restaurant and var with amazing water views. Its located in Grand Prairie off of State Highway 161. If you go during happy hour, they have a selection of drinks and appetizers for $7 each, when regular price is at least $15 each. Ive included my receipt so you can see my first old fashioned was $7 but I missed happy hour end time - which made my same type of old fashioned $15. And by the way, this Brown Sugar Ild Fashioned is beyond delicious!! I would probably give this a 5-star rating, but the parking is so difficult and over-crowded. I highly recommend a visit.

First off, The Finch was offering brunch for Mother's Day and you did get a complimentary mimosa…read more I'll also note that I visited for Easter brunch previously, and the food was amazing, the staff was amazing, and my waitress Alicia made the experience great. At that time, brunch was around $40-$45 and I truly enjoyed myself. This time for Mother's Day, it was the exact same food, but the price jumped to about $55 per person. Everything was going well until my daughter asked for a to-go container for a slice of pie. After that, the manager, Joe, walked up to our table of eight adults and two children and literally rolled his eyes and stared us down for what felt like 10-15 minutes. I would normally give courtesy to our waiter, but instead of helping, he sat there with the manager talking negatively while we were still dining. I can't even remember his name, but he appeared very unkempt. Meanwhile, the table next to us had two girls dining, and he continuously checked on them asking if they were ready to go or needed anything else before leaving. We arrived around 1 PM and by 2 PM we were already getting death stares from management, as if we had overstayed our welcome. We were not even there for two full hours, yet the entire experience felt rushed and uncomfortable. On top of a $513 bill, we still left an $80 tip, only to feel stared down over asking for one small to-go box for pie. Also worth mentioning: there are only TWO bathroom stalls while they are serving what looked like well over 150 people during brunch service, so the wait for the restroom alone was ridiculous. The food was still good, but the hospitality completely changed my opinion of this place. Prices went up, service went down, and the atmosphere felt very unwelcoming compared to Easter brunch. I'll gladly take my money back to downtown Dallas restaurants instead.

5/5 wow this place seriously impressed us!…read more I ordered the crab cake Benedict with crispy potatoes. The crab cake actually tasted like crab (not filler), perfectly poached eggs, and the crispy potatoes could not have been better. My kid ordered the French toast, and didn't use any syrup (she normally drenches everything!) It was naturally sweet and flavorful all on its own. She finished the entire plate with sausage and potatoes. We ordered two glasses of fresh-squeezed oj, and it was legit fresh and very reasonably priced - so many places overcharge for fresh squeezed juice and this place has much better quality for way less dollars. The service was excellent - multiple check ins without hovering. The staff really paid attention, and the patio seating was perfect, they set up the umbrella for us, and it was quiet and peaceful - a completely different atmosphere from inside. For $40, we got a generous amount of high-quality food and cleaned our plates. We will absolutely be back. Easily one of the best breakfast/brunch spots we've tried in the metro

Both orders of hashbrowns tasted old like they might've been made that morning. The coffee was not hot but good. Definitely check in early and make a reservation because there's a line of people out the door. Good but I wouldn't have waited otherwise. Chilaquiles were why I was in the mood for and it seemed to be their specialty! I got them and the food was super delicious. It was good but I do think that for the portion should be bigger for the price. Filling but if I wasn't about to go on a hike I'd have liked more. But liked I said, quality was pretty good. Young, high-energy staff and everybody was friendly. I had an adorable little waitress who was possibly high as a kite. But flower high, not the bad stuff. Honestly, it worked in everybody's favor. She was upbeat, extremely polite, and got my order right. I'm happy. The menu is one of those long double-sided laminated things with probably 50+ breakfast choices. Everybody should be able to find something. Prices looked to range around $10-17 per entrée, and the portions were solid. They also had a bunch of turkey and chicken sausage options for non-pork eaters like myself. I ordered the chicken fried steak with hash browns, scrambled cheese eggs with onions mixed into the eggs and hash browns, plus two pancakes. Around $15. Pardon the food pics. I forgot to take them until I had already loaded everything up with every sauce known to man: ketchup, hot sauce, gravy, syrup... probably a few others. I definitely recommend this place. A gem.
