I stopped here before it closed and it was very nice and clean. My sandwich was good lots of meat and they made it very fast. We sat outside and enjoyed our food.

Unassuming restaurant with high-quality sandwiches that come out fast (and get inhaled just as quickly). Came here for lunch on a Saturday with my family, and the restaurant was not busy. My husband wanted to try a Cuban sandwich while he was in town, while I opted for La Guantanamera (comes with a soda) because it shared its name with the restaurant. The bread was nicely toasted and was a good combination of crunchy and chewy. My toddler went for the pancakes, which were delicious and came out hot and fluffy. My rating is only 4 stars because I thought both sandwiches were just good, not great. The pork in the Cuban was very juicy, but it wasn't very flavorful to me. My husband really enjoyed it, however.

    This was a great spot!

The Cuban all the way was great! The plate with ground beef was also delicious. We will definitely be back.

Literally the best Cuban I've ever had at a great price. Fresh bread, super juicy pork, with a delicious sauce. The sandwiches are huge and can definitely be shared (I did not). Their cafeteria style plates with meats, plantains, veggies, beans and rice also look SO good. I will definitely be coming back!!!

WOW! This unassuming place is awesome! We got some of everything on the food bar...roasted pork (you HAVE to get some of the crispy skin) delicious, pork steak with onions and peppers VERY FLAVORFUL-yum, Maduros were delicious, pressed-Cuban sandwiches to-die-for, and huge hand-rolled tamales, this will be my go-to when I am back in Seffner- don't let the strip-mall vibe fool you, this is great Cuban fare, period.

Excellent food! I felt very welcomed as I they greeted me and explained the menu before I ordered (without me asking!) My favorite was the pork with potatoes. I recommend having it with white rice. Paid roughly $18 for two entrees, food tastes amazing and very generous portion.

Great steak sandwich. Cuban sandwiches are really good too. Big enough to split between 2 people.

Everything has been fantastic in flavor and portions. Great spot again for work meetings lunch or dinners, anniversary, dates, everything all events. Now for theme, obviously it's a Cuban restaurant so very Cuban/Spanish themed. Now the fun part about this place is the outside looks nothing like the inside. It looks bigger inside honestly as each room has its own theme. If you get a moment to look around do so as it's fascinating!

I loved that it's still run by the fifth generation of the founding family, it makes the experience feel even more special. I ordered the famous 1905 Salad and the Chicken Salteado, and both were fresh and delicious. Everything we had was excellent. The only thing that surprised me, as a Miami Cuban, was not seeing Cuban sodas like Jupiña or Materva on the menu. Not a big deal, just something I expected. Overall, a great meal, great service, and a place I'd happily visit again.

The inside is bare, empty and unassuming. The booths are ripped and tables wearing. But you just sit back and listen to the Latin music in peace imagining you are in Cuba as you eat. If ambience is what you are looking for, a to go order would be better. He brought us out our water and told us to take our time looking over the menu. When were were ready to order, we decided to just split the cuban sandwich and get an order of fries. When the food came out, (on two plates!!) we were so glad we did decide to split the sandwich. It was HUGE!! It was also SO GOOD!! Fries were nice and hot and crispy. Highly recommend this place, when we get back to FL we want to try some more of the other tasty sounding menu items.

Naida makes some tasty Cuban sandwiches here for a good price. The star of the sandwich is Naida's roast pork. It's well seasoned and it totally makes this sandwich shine. I usually get it with everything, but I keep forgetting that they'll include onions if you ask for it "all the way." It's good with or without it, but I prefer it without. Just keep that in mind and be specific if you don't want onions on your sandwich. Naida also makes the best café con leche. I sometimes go there just for Cuban toast and that awesome coffee. It gives me energy! They have a small hot bar area of daily offerings with some kind of rice and beans. It may change daily. I haven't ordered a platter, but I will one day. They do have a tasty arroz con salchichas side item. My mom used to make it sometimes with those little canned Vienna sausages. Yeah, it's a comfort thing for me. They also make wonderful breakfast sandwiches and ham croquettes. El Cuba Cafe is hidden inside of a Circle K convenience store on Bell Shoals Road. It's directly across the street from Publix at Bloomingdale Square. I know it has Cuba in the name, but their is a lot of Puerto Rican representation here. That may also be why I'm so fond of it. It's also super convenient, and the service is great. I usually drive in the back way to avoid all the construction nearby. There's no dining area. You just order your meal and take it with you. It's a no frills kind of place. A real hidden gem!

I've only had Argentinian-style milanesa before, and I can easily say I liked the Teresita style better. The marinara sauce on the milanesa brings enough acidity to cut through the grease from the fried meat -- the meat is thin and crispy, but not at all dry. The fries and yellow rice make the meal an absolute steal based on the amount of food you get. My friend had the fried fish, which looked delicious -- excited to try it myself next time. Will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!
