I stopped here before it closed and it was very nice and clean. My sandwich was good lots of meat and they made it very fast. We sat outside and enjoyed our food.

Unassuming restaurant with high-quality sandwiches that come out fast (and get inhaled just as quickly). Came here for lunch on a Saturday with my family, and the restaurant was not busy. My husband wanted to try a Cuban sandwich while he was in town, while I opted for La Guantanamera (comes with a soda) because it shared its name with the restaurant. The bread was nicely toasted and was a good combination of crunchy and chewy. My toddler went for the pancakes, which were delicious and came out hot and fluffy. My rating is only 4 stars because I thought both sandwiches were just good, not great. The pork in the Cuban was very juicy, but it wasn't very flavorful to me. My husband really enjoyed it, however.

    This was a great spot!

The Cuban all the way was great! The plate with ground beef was also delicious. We will definitely be back.

Literally the best Cuban I've ever had at a great price. Fresh bread, super juicy pork, with a delicious sauce. The sandwiches are huge and can definitely be shared (I did not). Their cafeteria style plates with meats, plantains, veggies, beans and rice also look SO good. I will definitely be coming back!!!

WOW! This unassuming place is awesome! We got some of everything on the food bar...roasted pork (you HAVE to get some of the crispy skin) delicious, pork steak with onions and peppers VERY FLAVORFUL-yum, Maduros were delicious, pressed-Cuban sandwiches to-die-for, and huge hand-rolled tamales, this will be my go-to when I am back in Seffner- don't let the strip-mall vibe fool you, this is great Cuban fare, period.

Excellent food! I felt very welcomed as I they greeted me and explained the menu before I ordered (without me asking!) My favorite was the pork with potatoes. I recommend having it with white rice. Paid roughly $18 for two entrees, food tastes amazing and very generous portion.

When you enter the gas station store turn right, walk ahead and you'll end up at the counter for Belkis. Fast, super friendly service. Great portion size and prices. Exceptional food! No contest the BEST cuban sandwich I have ever had. Exemplary meat/filling to bread ratio. The bread was fresh and perfectly crisp with garlic (I'm pretty certain) grilled onto the outside of it. The meat was tender and not at all greasy. There was the perfect amount of ham to pork to cheese to pickles to mustard. All around there was not a single thing I did not love about my cuban! I also got a very large portion of plantains. They were hot and cooked to the best texture. The Cuban and the plantains cost me $22 and supplied me with two and a half meals.

She was very friendly and made it fresh in front of you. The smell of roasted garlic when she is making it makes you so ready to dig in. The sandwich was also huge and well worth the $15 price. Still run by descendants of the founder. We had a Saturday 7pm reservation and the place was packed (seats around 1,700 people, per our server), but we were seated only 5-6 minutes late and service never felt strained despite the crowd. Started with warm, authentic Cuban bread and butter, then split the Original "1905" Salad -- tossed and served tableside, with Romano cheese, garlic dressing, ham, tomatoes, lettuce, and Swiss cheese. It's basically an entree on its own. The empanadas were also excellent: light crust, extremely flavorful filling, juices running with every bite. For my entree I had the Red Snapper "Adelita" -- grilled, topped with hearts of palm, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, served over their signature yellow rice. Perfectly cooked fish, very flavorful toppings. For dessert, we compared the key lime pie against the white chocolate bread pudding. The pie was well-made -- perfect texture, perfect graham cracker crust, light raspberry sauce -- but a touch light on the tart key lime punch I look for. The bread pudding was the better dish: rich, decadent, excellent. Finished with proper Cuban espresso. The menu here is enormous -- expect to need multiple visits to make a dent in it. Everything we tried was excellent. Highly recommend, but book ahead on weekends; even with 1,700 seats, this place fills up.

We were told that it would be a 30-40 minute wait, but it was hardly a 20 minute wait. The ambiance of the place is so homey, and the staff is generally pleasant. First of all, do not underestimate the BREAD. It is probably, hands down, the best baguette bread I have had in the US. We had croquette and stuffed mushrooms as appetizers. They were good. For my main course, I had the mahi mahi varadero and it was really good. It came with crab and Spanish rice, and was breaded with crispy plantains. It was good, although I generally don't like Spanish rice. HOWEVER, if I had to recommend a dish, it would be the mahi-mahi cayo-Hueso. It was marinated with citrus flavors and it was divine. Now I don't know who in our party ordered the fries, but they were amazing and felt as good as home fries. Now to the dessert, we ordered almost one of each and it was some of the best dessert I have had in my life -not too sweet, made well, and with real ingredients. I would have ordered my own cafe con leche but it was too late for me in the day but man did I wish I could have had my own cup instead os stolen sips. A record would not be complete without aknowledging the staff. Our waiter was Alfredo and he was such a nice, sweet, and accommodating waiter. He was also patient with such a large party. Thank you, Alfredo!

Naida makes some tasty Cuban sandwiches here for a good price. The star of the sandwich is Naida's roast pork. It's well seasoned and it totally makes this sandwich shine. I usually get it with everything, but I keep forgetting that they'll include onions if you ask for it "all the way." It's good with or without it, but I prefer it without. Just keep that in mind and be specific if you don't want onions on your sandwich. Naida also makes the best café con leche. I sometimes go there just for Cuban toast and that awesome coffee. It gives me energy! They have a small hot bar area of daily offerings with some kind of rice and beans. It may change daily. I haven't ordered a platter, but I will one day.
