La Goumandise used to be famous for the elegant birdcage afternoon tea. Since Covid this has been suspended but we hope it returns soon. Management thinks that may happen by June or so. In the meantime there is only a selection of pastries and some other items in a glass refrigerated cart, coffee, tea and the like. However the lobby setting is upscale and comfortable as you would expect in a St. Regis. The pastry we selected, a raspberry and lemon cake, was quite delicious, with some macchiatos for an afternoon pick me up.

! One of the best afternoon teas I have ever experienced in Miami. From the moment we sat down we were truly treated like royalty. The chef even introduced himself and really was a creative force in our experience today. My little girl adores high tea and being treated like a princess. They did not disappoint here. The pastries are all made in house and they have over 20 kinds of tea to try I highly recommend the st Regis blend made just for this property it's a flowery British black tea. I really enjoyed the warm scones and house made mango jam. The sandwiches were incredible so unique and so much attention to detail. They also have an amazing tea for children with creative sandwiches I've never seen god dust on grilled cheese before but hey we are living it up. If ambiance is your cup of tea then the views here cannot be matched. I encourage everyone to experience this afternoon tea once it's worth the splurge !

We went for the afternoon tea that is offered daily from 1PM-4PM. It was amazing service, food, and tea. At 3PM a pianist played. It is a relaxing ambiance and they do not rush you. When I made the reservation I mentioned we were celebrating my friend's birthday. The staff acknowledged it by wishing her a happy birthday, provided a special happy birthday sign on the birdcage, and provided complimentary chocolate strawberries. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We felt very welcomed during our visit. The tea includes your own pot of tea (no tea bags here!), scones with clotted cream and jam, tea sandwiches (lobster, salmon, cucumber, egg, and turkey), and pastries/chocolates. IT was a feast. We took some of it home. They serve the pastries in a bird cage that hangs next to your table. It included macaroons, chocolates, tortes, yogurt, chocolate bomb, etc. Everything was fresh and delicious. We used a travelzoo voucher and received chocolate croissants to take home! The valet parking is validated for $15. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be back. It is nice to know some places still offer top notch service where they make you feel special and welcomed. Pet friendly!!!

Our server Dikla made the experience. Food and tea was great. Carpets looked terrible and are in dire need of being replaced.

We went to the St. Regis for afternoon tea to celebrate Mother's Day and I was very impressed. The St. Regis tea blend was delicious. The scones were so good but the tea sandwiches were some of the best I've ever had. I wouldn't call them sandwiches really - they were super upscale. My favorite was the crab salad and the egg truffle croissant. Deserts were great as well. My sister is a vegan and we let them know prior to arrival and they were super accommodating and she got to eat a fruit salad for a starter, her own vegan vegetable bites, and a variety of vegan desserts. Also, the servers were very attentive and friendly. The hotel lobby is also beautiful and the tea is served in the atrium portion which is a great and unique experience. Since it is the st Regis, it is on the higher end price wise of afternoon tea but it great for a special occasion. Will go back if I'm looking to treat myself or a loved one!

I have been to several high tea experiences, including top ones in NYC and SF, and I can honestly say this High Tea experience was by far my overall favorite. The service was incredible, the view of the beach was beautiful and the quality of the profiteroles and canapés were top notch. The only nit-picking critique would be - online indicated a substantially lower price than the printed menu, and it prompted us to have to ask about it. The server handled it great and the printed menu ended up to be the typo. They validate valet parking which lowers the parking price.

It was a truly magical experience at La Gourmandise. My husband and I accidentally stumbled upon this corner when we were looking for the restrooms in the lobby. We've had lunch here numerous times, but it was our first time at La Gourmandise. First of all, the location of this little spot is very peaceful. The decor, the furniture, and the ambiance is absolute perfection. The service is exceptional. Anna and Mayra were so sweet and accommodating in every way possible. Because we just had lunch by the pool, we stuck to desserts only. We ordered a few macaroons, bon bons, and an eclair. The desserts were just as delicious as they looked. The details on the eclairs is true art. During our visit, Anna informed us of the St. Regis tea party. So of course we had to come back the next day and try it. It was truly a delightful afternoon. We began with teas (a wide selection from India), then we moved on to the scones. The scones were so fluffy, served with butter and jelly. Next, came the sandwiches, each one was better then the next. The finale was unforgettable. The desserts are presented in a gorgeous birdcage. The $45 per person is worth every penny. If you would like to add champagne, it would be $65 per person. I can't wait to come back and do this all over again. It was one of the highlights from our trip.

As the first to review this pastry shop, allow me to say what a pleasure to have experienced dining here not once but twice. Hidden in the very back of the hotel on the lobby floor is this quiet comfortable environment that is not only beautiful but ever so comfortable. Their glass pastry counter is magnificent with a variety of in house made fresh daily, croissants of different flavors, macarons, eclairs, cakes, treats. It's absolutely marvelous. The staff Anna and Mayra are so wonderful and so sweet. All they want is for you to feel at home and enjoy. Upon finding this counter and sitting area, my wife and I decided to order a few sweets and some coffee to enjoy. Anna had recommended the tea time and that we should try it. We scheduled a reservation for the following day. They host tea time from 1-4pm daily. I cannot tell you how exquisite it was. The selections of the little canapés were simply scrumptious. The attention to detail with the presentation blew us away. All the imported teas from India blew us away as well. We tried saffron, white pearl, black vanilla, passion fruit was the last I believe. At the very end they hang by your table your very own birdcage filled with all of their sweets. If I lived in Florida, I would come back again and again. Nothing but the best at st Regis.

I have had better afternoon tea experience. Our scones and clotted cream and sandwiches were different from pictures of other yelpers, ours were smaller. Piano man played excellent, that I like very much. I recommend afternoon tea at Biltmore, much better and free parking.

The experience is nice very relaxing. Unfortunately I think they were short staff because service was a bit slow. We went for the afternoon tea and it was all set up very nice. Not all the parties were good but the tea sandwiches were very good.

Amazing hidden gem! We found this place through yelp after we had eaten lunch and were craving desserts. It was a bit hard to find, as it is housed within a hotel, but staff helped guide us to it. It's a small little shop with lots of choices of tea and desserts. We got a chocolate cake, vanilla eclair, and two small caramels. We also got an iced jasmine green tea. Everything was lovely. They have a gorgeous inside seating area with comfy chairs, and a deck outside with a beautiful view of the ocean. It is a bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion for this lovely experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit at La Gourmandise from the beautiful entrance of this glass house architectural structure that incase's beautiful interior decor. The food and the presentation was matched by extraordinary customer service from beginning to end but I must highlight my experience. I want to talk about the exceptional service that I received on Sunday, October 7, 2017 by one person in particular, server Myra Rosa. The level of customer service and personal attention that I received from her was something that could not have been taught; that was pure personality. Myra honored me and made me feel so welcomed not knowing who I was at the time she was just genuinely a gracious hostess.

JK but our eyes really wanted to, especially when I laid eyes on the Nutella croissant section. From delicious paninozzo bello ripieno perfect to take to go and eat at the beach, to delicious pizzette e focaccia, Rosetta Bakery has everything you need for that sweet or savory tooth. We had the best breakfast, tipico Italiano, with nutella croissants, caffè macchiato e caffè, come in Italia. Everything is baked fresh, at the spot and you can see all the hard work through the little glass window. This place makes you feel good and it's food dopamine for your nose and eyes. Can't wait to come here again next time I'm in the area.

I especially like all the freshly baked smells coming from the active bakery onsite. Chocolate Cake: What can make chocolate cake even better? A nutella-like frosting! It really took this to a whole new indulgent level. Apricot Croissant: Why spread jam on your croissant when it comes pre-jammed? A nice amount of tangy apricot jam inside the flaky pastry. A great way to start the day. Pistachio Eclair: Normally I'm a chocolate frosting and vanilla custard guy, but they didn't have that combination. Was pleasantly surprised by the sweet pistachio cream, made it feel very European. Cannoli: A tiny little indulgence of dense sweet cheese inside a not-that-crispy-anymore shell. Potentially made awhile ago; wonder if a fresher one would have had a better crunch. I did like the candied orange peel at one of the ends. Mortadella Sandwich: A simple way to live up the olive roll. A few slices of mortadella to make it meaty and feel kinda fancy European. Ham & Sweet Baguette: Simple and easily transportable to the beach. The baguette tastes fresh, likely made onsite not that long before. It had a good chew. The ham and cheese are just enough protein to make it into a meal. Might have been even better with a little mustard. Mortadella, Cheese, Sun Dried Tomato Sandwich: A nice soft roll with lots of mortadella, some fresh mozzarella and heavy umami sundried (or slow baked?) tomatoes. The addition of those tomatoes really ratcheted up the flavor of the bread, meat, cheese.

We came for the CommuniTea event, and I highly recommend the experience. We signed up online and reserved our spots for $20 each, and we all felt like we got more than our money's worth! We had 5 different kinds of teas - each steeped at 3 different levels. They also had some light snacks available. All the teas we tried were amazing and very high-end. What's nice about the experience is that you can try completely new teas each time because Adrienne is very flexible and suggests teas based on your preferences and moods. The space was also very cute, especially with the tea tray and pets. We loved how each tea was served in different kinds of cups depending on the type. The location has parking, which is pay-to-park, but the price isn't bad. There's also other restaurants that looked good next to the location. We would love to come back soon!

Walking in, you notice it's clean and stocked with specialty tea and tea ware. There's a comfortable area on the side where the tea tasting is done, and did I enjoy it! Tea connoisseur / mistress / master Adrienne was welcoming and extremely passionate and historically knowledgeable about all things tea. I consider myself fairly well versed with the culture, and she was definitely next level with her education and experiences with the craft. It was a true delight to witness. Not only welcoming and knowledgeable, but the tea itself was truly quality and of special variety. Again, I've tasted a number of styles in my time and it's rare for me to come across something truly new... well, I found it here. During the tasting there were nice light snacks to compliment. It was a private tasting friends hosted for my birthday and a perfect activity to do with loved ones. I also understand she hosts a few public tastings and quite a few non private events so there are ample options to take part. Lastly - this was such a special time, all friends engaged, our guide seemingly loving and enjoying her trade and never once felt rushed or hurried during the time. Even when closely about to overlap her next event, she was incredibly warm and welcomed us to stay. I considered this visit a real treat. An easy five star+ recommend and a place I would definitely look forward to revisiting. Btw you don't have to do an experience. You can simply pop in for specialty tea from a diverse set of regions and styles, but I highly do suggest the tea experience. It was amazing - and again this is coming from a pretty snooty tea person. PS when my friend forgot the birthday cake our host was so generous to share a special part of her moon cake stash with us (somehow we were on that topic). She was an amazing host at every moment and took great care of us. Walked an extra mile out of the love of tea. While I can't guarantee the experience will be the same, I do have a lot of faith you will be well taken care of and guided by a true expert. Gooo.

Now, I live in Florida and haven't been to LA yet to try the famous smoothie, so I have no idea what it tastes like, but what I can say is that this one TASTED AMAZING! I added a photo of the menu and the ingredients of the smoothie below and it tasted so interesting, healthy, and delicious. It was sweet because of the added coconut cream and the dragon fruit pieces. The service was really good, the employee was very nice. The one thing we all hate about going to Miami Beach is that they ask for an additional tip for EVERYTHING. So beware. My order total was $38 for a smoothie and an Acai Bowl. ($20 for the smoothie and $15 for the bowl plus tax) Absolutely insane prices. I did love the layout of this "cafe" they have merch, protein bars, and extra powder additives that you could purchase.
