After an internet search we came across a well reviewed place that turned out not be available, but recommended Salerno In Alto Mare. We talked to the owner on the phone and communicated via email. It turned out to be very hard to locate even though we new the square/piazza that it was in. I posted a picture that shows what the building and front door looks like. Owner was very friendly and genuinely eager to do what he could to help us. Breakfasts were very good. Views were fairly good for a location a bit off the water. We did experience what we didn't like about B&Bs with a couple of Swiss girls that woke us at 0130 one morning with progressively louder laughter. Banging on the wall stopped it thankfully. We'll ignore the thoughtlessness of these clients towards our opinion of the owner and facility. For the price it was a good location, good service and the bedroom and private bathroom were clean and in good shape. We would consider staying here again if visiting the Salerno area, and recommend to others.

All she does is complain about bad reviews. It's way over priced for the options that are around. A hotel is a much better option. This place is just a money maker for her. By the time you get there and realize how bad it is it's too late. Stay away from this idiot

Simply put, it is the ideal combination of hotel-style rooms with the personal attention of a B&B. Beniamio & Concetta went WAY out of their way to help us with transport arrangements and provided an elegant breakfast spread on their veranda, complete with their adorable dog, Custard. We stayed two nights on either end of a trip to Agropoli (see reviews). Situated on the edge of town, the Centro Storico and New Town are a brief and pleasant walk away. The place is immaculately clean, very stylish and as far as we're concerned, the beginning and end of accommodation in Salerno.
