The Bellini House - the name stems from the idea that we wanted an place downtown where we could invite our friends and guests -- something more than your standard B&B. We imagined a home away from home that everyone could consider "theirs". A house which was made to receive guests, entertain them, intrigue them and most of all, allow them to relax and get to know the city of Naples.
Each room has its own, defined identity with a little story to tell. Inside, you can find objects that were lost and others that were found. Some were re-covered, recycled, up-cycled; while others we re-invented, re-used and transformed. Each object, with its own story and soul, blends seamlessly together with other pieces of design and art throughout the house. If you want, you can look at them, use them, read them, share them, admire them and in some cases even purchase them.
History
Established in 2014.
Sometimes (but not always) in life, its the circumstances and single events which decide our future and the paths we choose to follow. Rather than spending time wondering if what you are doing is the right thing... its often better when things are right there in front of your nose, waiting for you to simply say, "I'm in!"
Bob and Rich, after a long journey working in the colorful world of clubbing, launching and running a night club and organizing events and concerts... one day stumbled upon a hidden pocket of green grass, flowers and sweet-scented, tangerine trees - right smack in the middle of one of the most happening "Piazze" of the Historic Center of Naples: Piazza Bellini. It took them only a few seconds to know that this beautifuly kept secret was going to be their new adventure.
So that's how it all started. The Bellini House. A cozy little bed & breakfast with three rooms in the heart of Naples.
Meet the Business Owner: Richard and Rob K.
Following our interests and passions in a beautifully restored, 16th century apartment, we tried to create a space in which young neapolitan artists could share their work.
Social bee's by nature, we love to be with other people. That's our excuse for often inviting friends and guests for an "aperitivo" at the house, or maybe even dinner with a guest chef from the local restaurant. Small happenings, concertos, readings, meetings or whatever brings people together - it's just better that way.
