Lafixit will be the only people I call for my appliance and hvac needs. Ive used them for my business and home. Best customer service ever and pricing. Ive called other places and lafixit always had the best pricing and the best timing. I will only recommend them from now on. I would give them 100 stars if I could. read more

Absolute waste of time and zero accountability. I booked a dryer repair appointment yesterday for a 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM window today. I drove an hour to get to this vacant property to ensure I was there on time. When they never showed, I called and left a message. The woman who called me back was incredibly rude, claiming the appointment wasn't in their system and that I needed to reschedule for tomorrow. Mistakes happen, but a reputable company apologizes and tries to make it right--they did neither. They wasted my entire morning and afternoon. Save yourself the headache and use a different company!! I wish I can give zero star. Wasted 4 hours of my busy workday with this unprofessional company. read more

I called Mr. Fixit based on a recommendation from a neighbor to look at a 5 year old Samsung oven that was not working. I'm rating this 2 stars based on the complete and utter lack of communication with the owner. He sent a contractor named Greg who diagnosed the problem as a bad igniter. He did not have an igniter with him and said he could not get it until the following day. He would not order the igniter unless I fronted $300 to the company owner. I did and he returned the following day to complete the repair. As far as I'm concerned Greg did the job. I told Greg that I needed an invoice to send to a warranty company. He said that Nathan (the owner) would send one shortly. When I didn't get one after 48 hours I called Nathan and left a message. Another 48 hours went by and I left another message. The following day I called 3 more times and left 3 more messages. I finally got an "invoice" a week later. The "invoice" was as a photo of an invoice showing the total paid for parts and labor. There was no breakdown of parts or cost. I called again asking him to revise the invoice per the warranty company requirements. This lead to another round of messages which were never returned. I never received an original paper invoice and the photo version was barely visible. I cannot recommend this business. read more

These guys are total con men. Dimitriv came to my house last year to fix a dishwasher clog, which they charged $250 for and it just clogged again 4 weeks later, and then they took a $300 deposit to fix hinges on my refrigerator. I must have called and texted them a dozen times to follow up on the hinges, and after 6 weeks, just to refund my deposit. But every time I called it was just a litany of excuses and constant re-requests for me to send them copies of the invoice, the check receipt, etc... . I gave them plenty of time to set this right, but nothing. Do not trust this service provider. Just look at recent reviews. Not honest, not worth the time. read more

Outstanding Donut Shop Fridge Repair! Mike the technician was absolutely amazing. He texted me in the morning and showed up the same day within a few hours. He quickly troubleshot the problem with the compressor and coil and fixed it that same day, saving all of my food from spoiling. Mike has also repaired my ice cream cabinet and freezer in the past, and at this point I literally have him on speed dial. He has saved me on numerous occasions. His speedy response time and technical know-how are unmatched. If you run a donut shop or any food business, Mike is the guy you want. I truly appreciate his reliability, professionalism, and expertise. Highly recommend! read more

Made an appointment. Technician did not show. Called twice to see where they were. No call back, no nothing.

The worst ever company. They charge my daughter a $190 without doing anything. And I tried calling this company many time. They are not answering the phone. read more

I scheduled a repair appointment for my fridge but the technician never showed up. I called and spoke with Nathan, who assured me he would find out where the tech was and get back to me. Despite multiple follow-up calls, no one ever arrived and I was given no explanation. Very unprofessional experience and a complete waste of time. read more

My Samsung 5 year old ridge; for the first time, went bonkers on me. I had a recommendation to call LA FiXIT by my stepson Gary, and I glad I did! They sent out Michael, who I believe is the owner, who not only fixed my hinge but even made added Freon. And also cleaned it free of charge. I'm beyond grateful! read more

I reached out to LA FiXiT because the Wall Heater in my Guesthouse was not functioning. While other companies only wanted to replace the Wall Heater with a new one, Mike from LA FiXiT told me he could repair it. He did an amazing job, and now my tenant is happy. I will definitely call LA FiXiT the next time I need a major appliance repaired. read more

Scheduled an appointment for a tech to arrive at my house between 10am-2pm. The tech never showed. When I called, Nathan apologized and claimed he had texted the tech was unavailable. Problem is that I had told Nathan my phone was a landline that does not accept text messages. He promised to have a tech arrive the next day between 10am-12noon. The tech never showed. Calls to the office went unanswered. read more

Best appliance repair service. Nathan was so helpful on the phone. They came and fixed my refrigerator the same day. Don't double guess these guys. They gave me the cheapest price and got my fridge ready for my party of 80 people the same day. read more

My father contacted LA FiXiT May 15 because we needed our Ice Machine fixed due to it not producing any Ice. They came next day to assess the issue and the Gentleman that came to look at the freezer said that one of the parts wasn't working, and he would have to order the part which would take about a week but first he needed a $250 dollar deposit. He then proceeded to write down my mother's debit card number so he can charge the deposit, something that made us very uncomfortable to begin with. They told us they would call us once the part came in, almost a week and a half went by and no word on whether the part had arrived. My father ended up calling them to see if had arrived and they said that it had in fact and they can come the next day to fix it. Why did it take my dad to call them about the part for them to come fix it??? Any way then the guy came the next day to fix it and he said to give it 24 hours for the ice machine to start producing ice, that by the next morning we should have Ice. Next morning rolls around and what do you know, there's no ice! So my dad calls back and sets up another visit and this happened 2 more times, at the last visit the guy "inspects" and says that it turns out that it's a sensor that isn't working and he needs to order it. It's been almost 3 weeks since he said that and we have yet to receive any phone calls and my dad has tried to call and his call has been sent straight to voicemail and the guy who tried to "fix" the ice machine blocked my dads phone number. This is unacceptable, the entire thing cost my dad $569 dollars and now you guys are basically ignoring my dad, the ice machine still doesn't work and you're basically running away with his money? My father works hard for his money and for this to be the outcome is very disappointing! This isn't a way to do business! Whatever you do, think twice about doing business with these people! read more

You are in for a good one if you decide to go with these bozos. You talk about incompetence! Nathan is definitely on something. He is incoherent when you speak with him on the phone. The first time we spoke was early, like 8 o'clock! lol! I thought I had woken him up but that is not the case. Gave me a quote for 800, charged my card, and disappeared. I really can't comprehend how this company is in business. read more

Phenomenal. Mike is consistent, honest and DOES NOT waste time!!!! HE IS THE BEST!!! We have been with LAfixIT for years and years and he is always reliable. One thing I really like is his availability, then on top of it, he will point out several options and predict future issues that others have never even noticed. Save time, save money, it's as simple as "LAfixIt" and you're welcome, because you can rely on a company like this. Thank you for EVERYTHING!!! read more

We have been using this company for several years for our business refrigeration maintenance. Mike make himself always available, even last minute, with an impeccable service. I'm really not sure what's happened here. Initially the appointment was set promptly for someone to come and repair our dryer. The person didn't show up because they had a personal emergency and came the next day. He seemed knowledgeable and professional, and told me it would take 1 business day to get the parts. Now it's 3 weeks later and after calling several times to follow up about when the repairs would be completed, my calls are now sent to voicemail. I don't know why their communication has broken down, and I am left to write this review as a "buyer beware." I spent $75 for them to come out for the initial assessment and wish I could get my money back. read more

I can't believe i haven't written a review for LA Fixit before now. Mike has been taking care of all of the equipment in all of the restaurants i have had in LA for many years. IF THEY GAVE OUT ZERO STARS THEY WOULD GET IT! Stay away from these irresposible people!!! The boy Nathan who answers the phone and books appointments is so rude and creepy. He sounds like hes been living under a rock for the last 100 years. Hes so unprofessional. He never calls back when he says he will. Do not use this company. They do not show up when they say they will. They can not be trusted to get the job done. read more

I wish I had read the other reviews before I called this company for service. I agree the guy on the phone is not professional and does not tell you the truth. I waited a day and no one showed up and when they finally did the next day, I got charged $628 dollars for my refrigerator that still does not work! The guy on the phone promised that he would refund my money but he has not done anything but ghost me now. What are the remedies for wasting days waiting for the service and then a refusal for crediting money after they could not fix the problem. Call someone else and save yourself a lot of aggravation. read more

Stay far away. I called them months ago to get my dryer fixed. I know the issue with the dryer & my duct so I asked if they could do the service that I needed, but when Constantine came he said no. He took apart the dryer and put it back together and got me an exhaust box. He had to come back to fix a part and he never came back. He also said he would call me before charging me, but lied. I spoke to Mason about this and he said he would call me back and never did. I spent over $500, my dryer still does not work, and I want my money back. Stay away from this company. read more

Worst service! Do not use this company. They sent a repairman over to fix our ice machine. He did not have the right part, so he said he would order it and come back. Did not hear from him for a few days. Had to call him several times to get him to come back. He came back and the ice maker still didn't work. Kept calling for 2 weeks to get him back. Said he would come and he didn't show up. This happened 2 more times. When I called the company they put me on a conference call with the repairman and he said he would come and guess what?! He never showed up! Please do not use this company. Their repair people are unreliable and the customer service was terrible. read more

2 missed appointments from their tech. When I called customer service, the guy sounded like he just woke up and didn't even say the name of the company. First missed appointment, they said they called me but I for sure never received a phone call to reschedule. 2nd appointment they gave me a time window of 10am-3pm and then the tech never showed, now I can't seem to get ahold of them. I just wanted to give them a "Yelp quote" review. I am a very demanding client and a perfectionist. This business is fantastic. Very friendly, reliable, very responsive and most important HONEST!!!! I never ever felt as if they were trying to get me to pay for parts or extra work that I didn't need. At times I would think I needed all kinds of repairs and they with a adorable smile would say, "no no you don't need that I know what is wrong, it is easier and cheaper than you think." How many times have you ever ever heard someone say that to a customer. 100% recommendation. read more

Thank you, Mike and the whole LA Fix it team. I feel bad that I have not written a review sooner. I started using them 4 years ago when we purchased our first home. Within 3 weeks our Subzero fridge was on the fritz. It was not cooling enough and finally, one day just stopped cooling. I knew I shouldn't have put it off. I called and they sent a tech over by mid-afternoon. He was super helpful, gave a great quote to fix the fridge, explained the issue, and after fixing it scheduled maintenance 2x a year. I have yet to have any problems since being consistent with that maintenance. Well, next my dad's AC unit stopped working in the middle of summer in San Fernando Valley. They sent a tech the following day and he was able to get the problem resolved in 30 min at a much lower rate than the guy who installed it had quoted my dad. It's scary when your disabled parent has issues, I cant tell you how grateful I am to have technicians I trust to go to his home when I can't be there. In the 4 years since, I have called them to fix my Wolf range, a wine cellar at my bosses house, my Bertazzoni cooktop, the AC unit, and my Fisher and Paykel washer. Just booked an appt for my Bosch dishwasher that decided to stop draining after all of the Thanksgiving dishes were loaded I know, issues right?! I trust these guys. They are honest, give me great prices and let me know if something needs to be replaced rather than dumping more money into it. Oh, and they call when they are on their way which is super helpful. Thank you LA Fixit- see you tomorrow. read more

This company is my new go to for all appliance maintenance. I called and received service the same day and my subzero refrigerator was back to work instantly. One star is being generous. I called and spoke to Nathan to schedule an appointment for a repairman to come out to our temple. He said someone would be out the next day between 12:00 and 4:00 and that he or someone would call me half and hour prior to their arrival. At 3:15 the next day, I called the office and spoke to Nathan again asking if anyone would be coming. He said he would find out the ETA and call back. 45 mins later, I called since he never called back. Guess what....no one answered the phone and it went to voice message. I left a message and yet, no one returned my call. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! If Nathan is part of the family, he's doing a horrible job!!! read more

so our compressor went out for our walk in commercial fridge at my restaurant and we needed someone to come and fix it fast, so i stumbled upon la fixit, so i decided to give them a call and Mike came straight over to my restaurant in a matter of an hour and fixed our compressor to our walk in, When it comes to customer service, he really knows what he is doing and he give you honest quotes and doesnt cut corners in anything he does. I would give my review 5 stars if I was giving it only for Mike the owner/repair guy. However, I am only giving it 4 because the guy who answers the phone is awful. As other reviewers said, it sounds like he just woke up and doesn't even say the name of the business. The tech (Mike) never showed up to the appointment, and when I called the guy said he would find out why and call me back. . .never called. I am assuming Mike never even knew he had an appointment? I called again the next day and he said the tech would come by soon, which he did. I told Mike that his worker was awful and I would have called someone else if there was someone who could service our commercial freezer that we have at home. Unfortunately most companies won't service commercial appliances if in your home. Anyway, Mike is great, I feel bad he has horrible help (perhaps it's a family member?). read more

Incredibly disappointed. We went with this company based on positive reviews. The repairman came to look at our dishwasher. Barely looked at it, said he knew what the problem was and would call us in two days about parts, and immediately requested his $59 for a visit. It felt shady right away - not because of the fee, which we knew we had to pay - but because it was clear that was all he was there for. Never to be heard from again. This was at the beginning of May. It's now almost July. We've followed up numerous times. Spoke with multiple people, all promised to call us back. And nothing. Not a word. read more

Our experience after many years in business is that we have found someone that is punctual and totally reliable at LA Fixit for our commercial refrigeration problems. First and foremost, ask for Mike. He comes even if it is not an emergency, and he answers the call. Second, he is reliable and stays w the job to its completion no matter how long it takes. After working w them for the past 10 years we highly recommend them. We have had many nightmarish years with other refrigeration repair companies, and are happy to recommend Mike. read more
