Best Mechanical Solutions - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - West Hills, California

Title: One-Star Review If I could give this company zero stars, I absolutely would. I'm extremely disappointed that one star is the lowest option. I do not recommend this company. They misdiagnosed the problem with my refrigerator, which ultimately caused a water leak onto my floor, leaving me to deal with the resulting damage and expense. If they don't have the proper equipment or ability to complete a job correctly, they should not be accepting service calls--especially through a home warranty company. All of the service calls and work ended up being a complete waste of money. I ultimately had to purchase a new refrigerator. Save yourself the time, money, and headache. I would not use this company again. read more

My A/C unit was blowing air... that's all I need to say. I called my insurance agent for a referral, however, 48 hours later it was still hotter than the day before Eugene's reviews seemed genuine so I gave him a call. He asked detailed questions and even tried helping me fix it over the phone before we scheduled the service call. Once on-site, he immediately knew what to check and found the issue.. I think it was the "flux-capacitor".. something like that hehe.. Highly recommended and yes, fair, upfront costs.. no bait-and-switch. Thanks Eugene! read more

I cannot give enough praise to Eugene and his crew at Best Mechanical Solutions. AC went out this mid-July. After several frustrating weeks with another HVAC repair company dispatched via homeowner's insurance decided to invest in an entirely new system. Here comes Eugene to the rescue. Within 10 days of first contacting, had a clean sheet new system in place. No mess, no fuss. He does what he says he's going to do in a clean, courteous, timely and tidy manner. Please don't hesitate to call Eugene. Oh, obtained two other estimates as a baseline and Best Mechanical Solutions came in significantly under. read more

Eugene did a phenomenal job not only with the repair, but also explaining to me what he was doing and why. He provided me with his honest opinions and "kept it real" with me on what I should and shouldn't do. There was no pressure or "hard selling"...Instead, he gave me the facts and his expert opinion - something that is rare to find from a lot of contractors. He was also very friendly and greeted me with a smile. I highly recommend Eugene and his company! read more

Eugine showed up on time, found the issue, explained what was wrong , and resolved it on the spot. This is what I call a true professional. I am one of those home owners who call around, do a great deal of h/w and only then hire someone. This time I did just that, and several companies sent their best technicians... who couldn't figure out what was wrong with my furnace (they just offered to replace several random parts - to see what happens). So you can go through several different companies, and then hire Eugine to do the job right... or simply call him first. read more

I've used and recommended Eugene from Best Mechanical solutions multiple times. I'm in a real estate business and come across small repairs and large jobs all the time. In anything that I do I am looking for reliable, honest and fairly priced and this is what I always get from Eugene. Last time I called him, I needed new grills in my condo. You'd think you'd be able to find whatever you want at Home Depot, but you can't. I wanted more modern look and some of them were not even standard size so had to be special ordered. Small job, but I got everything that I wanted, I got it in time and it was very fairly priced. No, it wasn't cheap, but it wasn't arm and a leg. Thank you read more

Our air conditioning went out during a heat wave in Woodland Hills. We have a small baby so were starting to panic. In comes Best Mechanical Solutions to save the day. Even though they couldn't make all the repairs the first day, they quickly returned the next day and got everything fixed up. They replaced our dual capacitor, charged our freon, and changed two valves. Our place is now cool and comfortable and we can all survive working from home for the Summer. Great work, highly recommend! read more

My compressor fans motor burnt out during a heat wave. I called over 4 companies that offered quick response times & same day service. Eugene was the only repair man to call, text, email me right away & without an operating service doing the calls for them. Eugene also provided fair pricing in advance or arriving to my home. The price was also the same when the work was completed. Best Mechanical arrived on time and completed the job without an issue. The AC worked better than ever! After the appointment, Eugene contacted me to upgrade the motor as he said he found a better match at no cost, he said this was the exact motor the unit used. Unbeknownst to me, the upgrade reduced the noise and energy use of the unit. So nice of him! I would have never known the difference. He also used a mask & Gloves without being asked to. Always nice with COVID-19 in the news. In todays world, a homeowner never knows what they're getting when they use an app or google to find home services. You do know it will be an adventure & the repair people will try to raise price, once they have arrived & or the work is done. Lol! Rest assured that Best Mechanical can be trusted to be honest, on time, & do the job correctly. They also took the next step to improve the job to make it perfect. So amazing! If you need AC repair, use Best Mechanical; especially if you like arguing with your family over the house being to cold. read more

This company came out and was very courteous and helped me sort out lots of issues in my old house. We found problems of air flow and why it was happening, it did mean I needed to open up walls, but now the flow is spot on and cooling/heating is almost instant now.
