Eh, there's better Mexican American food around. The chicken quesadilla was too salty, and I expected a bit more food for the price that I paid, especially at a Mexican restaurant. No sour cream or tomatoes on the side either. Some friends that were also in my party shared the same sentiment about their dishes.

Ok ok had to write a review. First off this place gets 5 stars for margaritas. The "El Presidenté" is off the menu, but by far the best Marg in the city. Trust me I'm an expert. 2 of those bad boys and you'll be either speaking jiberish or laughing out loud. Food their is basic fare. Their soft tacos are huge. Salsa is solid and service has always been good. Lastly you get a lot for your money. Not the fanciest place and hidden off of HWY 31 in a shopping center. Go for the Margs fill up with the food.

I've always had a nice fresh made meal when I come here Service was very polite and rapid. One tip that I have is that if you're coming alone or just with the two of you and it's busy ask for a seat at the bar and you'll get served right away.

Came in here for a quick drink, but I will definitely be back to try the food. I've lived in the area for a long time and I have never seen this place. I had a nail appointment around the corner but I was about 30 minutes early so I decided to see what was around and stumbled across this gem. This staff here is extremely kind and warm. They make you feel like you just walked into your grandma's house (best comparison I could think of, lol). I sat at the bar and I was promptly greeted and supplied with a warm chips and mouthwatering salsa dip. The salsa had a bit of a kick to it, which is something I really appreciate because it adds to the flavor. At the time, their drink special was a guava margarita. I ordered one of those and was blown away. It was perfectly mixed, with just enough alcohol. Overall a really good experience. Cannot wait to come back and try the food!

Went to La Fiesta for lunch on a suggestion of a friend who gave us a gift certificate. Upon first entering, was hit with a damp musty smell. The atmosphere was typical Mexican restaurant decor. Was seated promptly and brought the usual, "chips and salsa". The salsa was more of a "taco sauce". There was no visible onion, tomatoes, cilantro or jalapeños. It was very thin and watery. The chips were room temp and partially stale. The staff was attentive and nice. They brought our drinks and took our order quickly. The food came out within 10 mins. I ordered the lunch fajitas- steak. They were hot and fresh. The steak was under seasoned and slightly chewy. Inions and tomatoes had a good taste. Rice and refried beans were...typical rice and beans. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't to write home about. It was a typical American style Mexican restaurant that uses the same food vendor as every other Mexican restaurant. All in all, not bad but wouldn't make a special trip here unless I had another gift certificate.

Coworker invited me for lunch here. It was traditional Mexican cuisine. The food was hot and fresh, very tasty! My strawberry margarita lacked alcohol but otherwise was ok. My friends drink was great and she had steak nachos and she said she always gets that and that they are great. The service was fast and was a nice atmosphere.

Being downtown, parking is not always the greatest, but it was a lovely evening for walking less than a block to the restaurant. It was a Saturday evening so there was a little wait, but we were able to sit outside and have a drink while we waited. Once inside, the place was dimly lit, really loud with music and very clean. And for having unisex bathrooms, those were surprisingly clean as well. Our waitress was great, I wish I could remember her name... but I do know she was from Cali. We ordered a couple of strawberry margaritas, which were just your basic drink, but still refreshing. Started off with a basket of chips, salsa and fundido. This is considered an appetizer, so no freebies here. The chips were fresh and warm, the salsa had a nice flavor and the fundido was ok according to the kiddo. We had the grilled shrimp tacos with rice and beans. You had to assemble your own tacos tonight, and order rice and beans separately as the taco plate had no sides, but all delicious.... Beans had a nice kick, the shrimp tacos were missing something in my opinion, but not sure what. We also had the best shrimp quesadilla we ever tried. It has overly stuffed and cheesy with wonderful lime cream sauce to go with it. This entree was a huge hit all around and it did come with a side, so no extra charges. To finish off dinner, we all shared the strawberry tres leches and OMG... Absolutely the best we have had in a while. Too bad it's seasonal. Over all, great experience and would definitely g

Since I got take-out, I can only speak to their take-out. However, I do feel that if they can get 5-stars for take-out, then their dine-in is surely 5-stars! Secondly, they also included salsa and chips even though it was a take-out order, which I appreciated. Service was quick. I called in my order, showed up about 10 minutes after that, paid, and my order was ready a couple of minutes later. Employees were very nice. Food was good! Still warm when I opened it up 15 minutes after pick up, which tells me they were fresh and hot when packed! It's excellent, but what makes it next level is that SALSA BAR with the best salsas I've ever had. It reminds me of taquerias in California. I drowned my taco in all of the sauces. In fact, I could probably be happy eating tortillas and salsa here. Because, yes, the tortillas are that delicious. As is that guac. Again, some of the best I've ever had, gimmicky tableside guac included (never felt that was such a great thing anyway). Here, you get a generous portion of the creamiest quality guac you can imagine. I can't report on the margaritas other than to say they look gorgeous.
