We dropped in for lunch on the way to the eclipse. I had the special of the day...cheese enchiladas, beans, avacado, and a carne asada dish that had some of the best seasoning I've had in quite a while. Perhaps I like Mexican food after all. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Fallon. Each time they've brought the food on time and the quality is great. It's not the real taqueria style restaurant so if what you are looking for is something more authentic then this is not the place for you. The quality of the food is great and the plates are huge so come hungry. They also have cocktail drinks and beer so if you need to de-stress and have a taco and beer you can do it. The prices are not as cheap but the food they give is a lot to make up for the cost. I have ordered the big platter appetizers with everything and it was delicious, shared with hubby and we still took some home. I totally recommend their beans and the chips with cabbage (weird) but super tasty. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Fallon for the first time. read more

Pretty good Chinese food for being in a little town in Nevada. The all you can eat sushi is a good deal. Never had a problem with the taste, but it probably isn't the freshest of fish. Been here before & liked it, but yesterday I decided to order something other than flautas... What a disappointment, never should have. Ordered the shrimp quesadilla supreme. So much grease & oil, I thought of just throwing it away before I started. I ordered it to go & when I opened it, didn't even want it in the car, for fear of that oil going everywhere. I had asked if it had onions, which I can't eat & they said no... It was loaded with red onions... Extremely disappointed!!! And they charge for the to go containers!! This is one of my all-time favorite Mexican restaurants. The food is incredible. The creamy, salty, cotija cheese crumbled over the generous plates of Pollo al la Mexicana, or the Chile Verde with delicious house sauce. The homemade chips and salsa are delicious. The staff are so friendly. The food is served hot and fresh and fairly quickly. They offer refreshing drinks and a warm inviting atmosphere. I had 3 shredded beef tacos. I usually get a burrito, but I went with tacos. The shells were store bought, the meat that was stuffed in my tacos had potatoes in it and the meat had too much juices. It was like they had roast beef and decided to stuff tacos with it. My store bought taco shells broke from all the juices, my mexican wife was laughing until I pointed out that her enchilada had potatoes in it. La Fiesta - Mexican Near Me - Fallon, Nevada

We came to this place for dinner with a couple of friends. We were sat right away and given menus. My husband and i both order enchiladas with Queso Blanco. What we received was nasty Velveeta cheese mixed with some peppers and tomatoes. It was gross. They were lazy to because instead of putting really cheese on our beans the put this nasty cheese dip. I couldn't even eat them. We scarped off enough of the to be able to eat our food after sitting and waiting for the waiter to come back and check on us. Which he didnt do till about 45 mins later. I am quite content with this place. I have been here numerous times and haven't had a bad experience yet. I am from SoCal and have had amazing Mexican food all my life and even though this is not the best I have ever had it is definitely worth eating.
