Myself and a friend, with 4 more behind us, walked in, and were promptly told they were closed. Odd, since Yelp, Google, and the hours posted on their door indicated they were open until 4am. Over the weekend, another friend and I came in and had a great time with a large group of, who I assumed were, locals, singing karaoke and drinking the night away. The following Monday, I attempted again, to visit the bar. This time at approximately 9:45pm. I was greeted by 2 people telling me the bar the bar was closed. Again, I had at least 3 other people planning to join me but, apparently, posted business hours and eager customers aren't important to this establishment.

Our server had a lot of tables, and I think that's why our service ended up being sub par. We were the only table in the entire restaurant that didn't have waters brought to us. Our food took over 30 minutes to come out, and I absolutely don't mind, but it took 15 minutes and 3 attempts at calling my service over to get another beer. The food was great. I did ask for a spicy salsa and they brought me mild which is fine. Overall, I know what it's like to be an overwhelmed server, and the food was good. The flavors were definitely there. I went back again as I'm in town for a horse show and we are close by. The service was definitely better tonight. Jose is AMAZING!! I also had the servers whip me up a shrimp dish that was a mix of spicy and garlicky and they killed it. SO DELICIOUS!! The flavors were authentic and just in every bite.
