La Fábrika de Sabores is one of my favorite restaurants in Sitges, and we try to go every year we stay in Sitges. The dishes have heightened flavor profiles and beautifully plated, a foodie's gastronomic delight.
The restaurant has a gorgeous contemporary vibe. The modern, colorful brushstroke portraiture paintings are stunning, and I still can't locate the artist. The restaurant is not very big so reservations are recommended.
For a starter this time I tried Gazpacho de Sandía con tomato y pepino y ago y finagle y pan tostado, Watermelon Gazpacho with tomato, cucumber and garlic, and toasted bread. So refreshing and tasty!
My entree was Corvina al Estilo Sicilana, a Sicilian-style sea bass that was perfectly cooked, moist and delicious. One friend enjoyed his Solomillo de Credo con Cebolla Caramelizada, a nice Pork Filet with carmelized onions. Two others shared Paella I Caldós, Seafood Paella. They loved it.
We saw them preparing Arroz Caldoso de Bogavante con Langostinos. Seafood soupy lobster rice with prawns, squid and mussels that looked amazing. It went to another table but that's what I want next time!
Owned and operated by a gay couple, they are present every evening whether hosting, helping with tables or bartending.
La Fábrika temporarily closes in off-season, so check their website. read more
