On the one hand, they do not have a lot of parking, but on the other hand, most of their customers were there on foot as Weir most of the customers for the other businesses in the strip. We walked in and were able to order within about two minutes. The menus were easy to understand with pictures for everything and the staff made things easy as well. As we ordered and I asked for the Birria Burrito, they asked which one. I let them know that I had seen a video on TikTok about their Birria burrito, but that I hadn't seen it on their menu and that was what I wanted to order. They said it was the Birria Cali and that it was very popular lately. I mean, yeah- the video made it look phenomenal and the audio with it was funny. I had also, previously, seen a video about their Machete and wanted to order that because it looked awesome as well. They had 2! One Birria (beef) and the other was Governado (shrimp). We went for the Birria- of course. Honestly, the Birria Burrito had plenty of flavor and more variety in flavor due to the various fillings- Mexican crema, lettuce, guacamole, potatoes (surprising, but honestly VERY good), plenty of cheese, and the Birria (and the sauce is poured right in- which I think could be avoided). It was delicious, but it shouldn't have been served on the paper as the paper began to rip when I started cutting up the burrito. I had wanted to eat the burrito like a burrito, but the moment that I picked it up, it became nearly impossible. The burrito completely opened up and all the fillings started pouring out onto the paper. I was able to wrap it up again with about half the fillings, but the burrito tortilla was so wet that it was just a huge mess. I ended up eating half of the burrito with a fork. I don't know why they didn't serve it on a plate. The Birria Machete was super flavorful and simple, just Beria meat and cheese with a cup of their dipping Birria soup. It was also nearly 2 feet long! Very cool. I began to wonder if the corn tortillas for the Birria Machete were made in store. I asked- and they said they do make it themselves! The corn tortillas were the most flavorful corn tortillas I've ever had! They had texture and they were clearly NOT the type of corn tortillas that I get at most places, those premade floppy unflavorful corn tortillas like the ones you get in the pack of 150 at the grocery store. When I find out, I will let you know because the texture and flavor of the corn tortilla on the Machete was phenomenal. The place was packed when we got there. It was packed when we left. Clearly, they get plenty of business. Everyone around us seemed happy and content with their food and so were we. I will definitely be back for another Machete to try some other things as well. Give them a shot if you haven't been.

This isn't a date night spot (even though it should be), aesthetically speaking. But if you and your loved one wants a quick and delicious meal at an affordable price point, this is your place. Pay at the counter, get your number, and they'll bring it to you within less than 5 minutes. Except, they'll sometimes simply call your number in Spanish and only Spanish. I've made it clear that I'm not fluent in Spanish and they're trying to incorporate more English since they'll get a diverse crowd from time to time. Or, ya know, go back to just bringing my food to my number! This is bang for your buck! Dare you to compare any fast food dollar for dollar to here and tell me who fills you up more. Let alone the clear winner of quality, no preservatives, and unprocessed meats!

I've tried the carne asada, pastor, and cabeza but the cabeza is my favorite right now. The food is always good. The girlfriend got nachos and they were also good. Service They are crazy efficient in order taking and preparing the food. Ambiance Super casual spot, usually pretty busy but plenty of parking. If you come during a busy time, finding a seat might be difficult but it is well worth the effort.

I've had the birria queso tacos here, which are great. This is not my go-to spot for them, but to know I can get them at any hour if I haven't eaten yet is helpful. So far, besides the tacos, the tamales are probably my second favorite item here. The red pork ones are good, although I believe I've had the green ones too - also yummy. They are nice and juicy and plump, not skimpy like some places. The drinks are also good here. Very refreshing. I ordered the steak fries recently and also tried the ground beef enchiladas. I probably wouldn't get both items again, even though they were not bad. I think the fries for me would just be better fresh if I had picked them up and ate them immediately. But I do appreciate they took the care to package everything nicely (the cold toppings) to be assembled later. The enchiladas were more traditional (not with heavy sauce or lots of melted cheese). I tend to prefer the Tex-Mex style where it's smothered. This just comes down to my personal preference. Definitely check them out if you need a late night meal option or are at the gas station. I will definitely keep trying more items from them when I need a late night meal.

Right off of Jimmy Carter in Norcross, on a block away back street. This location is in a fun shopping center with TONS of free parking, so I just had to pull up. The restaurant is big, like 2x bigger than most resin the area. I ordered classic cilantro, lime, onion on corn tortilla tacos: 4 tacos al pastor (pork) 2 chorizo (pork) The meat didn't have that sear on it or any crispy bits, but was still tender, flavorful, and not too oily. 4 different salsas to choose from here, all are delicious and complimentary with your food. Also, ordered a Torta Milanesa (beef) - Fluffy bun and even better than the tacos, if I must say. Maybe this milanesa just hit a craving for me that I didn't know I had, but it was kinda romantic. Pour salsa on every bite and maybe even some lime. Cashier is very nice, line is fast. Atmosphere is clean, filled with tables full of families that you can tell meet up here weekly. If I lived closer, I would definitely visit for their weekday lunch special platters.

They have quickly become my favorite place to get Mexican food. Let's get into it! Location and Parking They are located on Buford Highway in a small shopping plaza. The lot is medium sized, but they are sharing it with a few other businesses, and depending on the night it could definitely be hard to find a spot so keep that in mind. Venue and Atmosphere The venue is decently sized with both booths and regular tables. There are beautiful paintings hung all over, and the decorations that make you feel like you've stepped into a little part of Mexico. Atmosphere is super casual and comfortable. Food and drinks Now the menu here is massive. Take your time and prepare to be overwhelmed, because everything sounds amazing. Here's a breakdown of what we got each time. 1st visit - El Rey Del Taco Parrillada It's meant to be shared with two people, and comes with a pound of beef ribs, your choice of chicken or al pastor meat, six shrimp wrapped in bacon, with melted cheese and chorizo, plus tortillas and charro beans. It was just as delicious as it sounds. 2nd visit - Tacos The pastor con queso and the shrimp al pastor with cheese, onions, and al pastor sauce. You're welcome. 3rd visit - Fajitas Fajitas Texanas, with steak chicken and shrimp. There are 7 different combinations of sides that you can get. We got white rice, salad, and charro beans. This can also be shared, which my wife and I did. Speaking of the charro beans, they have the best beans I have ever had. For drinks I got the supreme regular mango margarita. My wife got strawberry. Both great. Service Food came out fast, but other than that the service was a little slow. Our waitress was nice, but it did seem that she forgot about us for a little while. The food was so good that I forgave it, plus at the end of the day I got everything I needed. Verdict If you're looking for amazing food and drinks, this is absolutely the place to get it. It just might end up being your favorite too! Until next time!
