This is my favorite coffee shop in our area located in downtown Tucker. The staff is consistently friendly, it's a laid back vibe, and there's typically plenty of seating indoors and some outdoor seating. I like their pastries, especially the cheese danish. I am not a coffee drinker but they have plenty of options for people like me . My go-to drinks are their iced matcha latte or chai latte. The only downside is the limited parking, especially on days when downtown Tucker is hosting special events that take up the nearby street parking. read more

Ultimately not a fan of the coffee. We got a regular Vietnamese iced coffee and large white rose latte. The white rose was too sweet. I mixed the drink so it wasn't the rose syrup pooling at the bottom. The viet coffee isn't a real Vietnamese iced coffee. It was just a strong coffee. I'll give this place another try because they have frappes which looked really good in other peoples hands. However, the atmosphere and interior was amazing. It's like a three room cafe with 2 bathrooms. The cafe room is beautifully decorated with trinkets and posters. There's a main seating area with the shop name on the wall and a big shelf of games you can play like banana grams! The last room is like a study room with 5 tables and outlets by the walls. Good study cafe. They have a small lot with about 6-8 spaces on the right before you see the cafe. Additionally they have one hour street parking around the cafe (labeled with signs). I love this place. And there's a reason so many other locals love this place. That's because they do their coffee well, they run their business well, and it's comfortable. Staff is always friendly. There are a good number of tables where you can read, have a quick conversation, or even play a board game. There are even a few outdoor spots to enjoy if the weather is nice. Love our local-owned coffee shop. The staff reminds me of the 90's. They're only friendly to regulars and can be quite rude to your face. It's a vibe, I guess. Last time I was in, I walked in, looked at the bakery case, looked at the art, and walked to the register without any acknowledgement (I am not a regular). A woman walked in behind me and the staff fell over itself effusively saying "hi, how are you? good to see you!" etc. It was a marked contrast to not even saying hello. They have non-dairy milk options (soy, coconut and almonds but were out of soy at my visit), but they can't be used with everything. For example - all the frappe mixes have at least some dairy. The coffee is good, the space is lovely and the location is great. My companions enjoyed the scones. I think they have GF options but I did not visually see them myself (I probably didn't look hard enough). read more

Since I was getting my car serviced at a facility nearby, I was relieved to have a comfortable and quite place to get some school work done. There is free wi-fi available while you snack on your sweet little treat, which in my case was their apple scone. I found the scone to be of the more dry type, which would have been better with a hot beverage. The large windows helped me feel like I was outside while I was in their well air-conditioned space. Staff were super friendly and willing to provide water and a take-away bag for my leftovers. Would come again to try some of their other drinks and desserts! read more

There's plenty of parking on the side of the building as well as along Main Street. The staff was warm and welcoming. The shop is bright and inviting. There are tons of indoor seating and some outdoor. The menu offers traditional coffee and tea drinks as well as pastries and snacks. I ordered my go-to, oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon, and didn't have to wait long for it. The latte was strong and delicious. It had just the right amount of honey and cinnamon powder. I really enjoyed it and would return to The Corner Cup Coffee if I'm back the area! read more

I go into the Corner Cup Coffee early every morning before my internship. I like that this is one of the few cafes that opens at 6am because I can relax before going into the office. I live far from Tucker, so it's nice I have an option of where to go early *to beat the traffic* before starting the work day. There's lots of seating options, and it's a perfect place to study. I sometimes sit near the window for extra warmth and other times sit near the back for some solitude. The music is fun, and the people are kind. The baristas always quickly prepare my coffee and food! The food is also tasty. I often order the ham and cheese croissant or the spinach croissant. My favorite drink so far is the Matchai Pitchu (I believe that's how you spell it). It's one of the most creative cafe drinks I've had- part matcha, chai, and coffee! Yum! My absolute favorite coffee shop! Very vegan friendly, super nice staff, delicious drinks, and fun atmosphere. Any questions I've had were met with helpful answers and a friendly attitude. There's a drink they used to serve that is my brother's favorite, and they still make it for him upon request even though it's not listed anymore. It's a great place to sit and sketch outside during good weather, too. I've only had good experiences going here and would highly recommend it to anyone. read more

I love this business. Their coffee is absolutely delicious, and it is always prepared with care. The employees are interested in their work, and are welcoming to every guest I've seen. They have multiple baked goods, but not a wide variety for my taste. There are too many gluten-free options, but you can always find something tasty to nibble on. They have lots of artwork which I enjoy viewing while I'm waiting for my brew. When it is about 3/4 full of customers, it is difficult to find a seat where there is an outlet. And like most coffee shops, the tables are not attended to as frequently as they should, and you'll often find a few crumbs or spills when you go to sit down. Not a problem, I always grab a few extra napkins and wipe those down before I sit. The two things that keep this from being a five star review is the 5 o'clock closing time. read more

Great to see an indie coffeeshop in Tucker. Located in the same building what used to be a bike shop. On my visit on a lazy Saturday afternoon, we found the cafe to be quite popular. Parking was full and half the tables was taken. Its a nice open cafe and the best thing is the floor to ceiling windows. You can totally sit back and gaze out and relax. Maybe its spring time, maybe its just how this place is decorated. It feels full of energy, light and cheerful. I thought the coffee was ok, but a little dissapointed that , despite informing the counter that I was havin the coffee here rather than to go... the capucino was not served in a cup with coffee art. They gave it to me in a paper cup. hmmm.. would have been much cooler if it was in a regular cup with come awesome coffee art. There is a selection of pastries. My go to coffee joint in Tucker. It's a staple and a classic. The Vermont is my favorite, but I've yet to be disappointed by the other coffee/drink options too. The baked goods are high quality as well. I've been over 10 times and I've never left with an iota of disappointment. I wish they offered a cooked breakfast option but their space is limited so I get it! There's plenty of seating to read, work, or chat. The parking lot is small but you can park pretty much anywhere on Main Street. The staff is stellar and accommodating when you need them to be. Corner cup has 2 locations I've been to both and I've always gotten the same quality. This location in located in downtown tucker. So far my favorite drink is the Vermont. The Vermont has maple honey, cinnamon, espresso and milk & yes it's as good as it sounds. I like to order mine iced but it's great hot as well. The service is quick and staff are kind. Unlike a few other coffee shops this location has plenty of space if you'd like to sit in and get some work done. There's also some outdoor seating which is helpful during COVID. My favorite thing is that they offer some great seasonal flavors, recently I tried a peppermint latte the had and it was pretty good. Also they offer rewards which is nice! read more

Stopped by for my first time ever today after hearing about it for a while. I ordered a medium Caramel Oat Milk Latte and it was a little thin (normally oat milk is a little thicker) but better than most. I found a hefty granola bar at the front of the line and I had to have it. It was delicious! Some things that stuck out to me: -Super efficient staff (they deserve all the tips)! -Quaint space with cute art and merchandise -Customers behind me in line were way too close the entire time -Parking was not friendly -Yay Dog friendly -This is a place I'd love to walk to and visit all the time if I could -Great prices! -I need to try the Christmas in July, McFluffin, and Red Hot Winter. read more

Located on Main Street near downtown Tucker just off of LaVista not far from the Chamblee Tucker/Lavista intersection sits this cute coffee shop called The Corner Cup Coffee. When you walk/drive up, all you see are windows and a little blue sign notating that you have arrived. Its in an older building that has been repurposed throughout the years with the current purpose being the best so far! The shop overall is a mix of industrial with the exposed ceiling and concrete floors along with old school diner-esk black and white tile in the large dining room, modern tables/chairs throughout and a nice front counter - this place is plain, yet funky...but not funky enough to be weird. Additionally, the layout is a little different than your average coffee shop that boasts one big open room. The Corner Cup has three different areas, four is you include outside seating. For these three spaces, there are three different entry doors as well. One will take you into the small dining area that features a chalk board and paper on a roll for the kids to draw/write on, the larger dining area features a combination of 2/4 tops and high-tops then you have the front counter/order area where all the magic happens and the food and drink are held. The outside is a few tables and plastic Adirondack chairs lining the walkways. As with any downtown areas, parking can be a hassle during busy times. However, there are two dedicated lots for the place, one on each side of the building that hold around 8 - 10 cars each. If those fill up, you can grab street parking around the area. Now, for the coffee and the whole reason I visited. They have a plethora of choices and to make it easier they break them out into Hot, Cold, Espresso, Colder, Seasonal and Specialty. Each filled with great choices that you can customize as you need! I am a cold brew addict (first step is admittance!), so I scooped up a medium cold brew and added SF dark chocolate syrup and almond milk. It was DELISH! While I didn't get anything to snack on, they did have all kinds of goodies from sweet to savory including cookies, muffins, crepes, croissants, quiches, cakes, whoopie pies and more! While this was my first visit to the shop, I learned a lot from the staff, who were absolutely fantastic from entry to exit! Cool thing about this place is they are fully local and have all their coffee roasted by local roasters, along with the getting food from local vendors as well. Oh, another cool things is they rotate their coffee selections each season! Overall, while I am not on this side of town too often, when I happen to come this way, The Corner Cup will be top of my priority list for a visit! read more

I stopped by the Corner Cup Coffee shop to grab some coffee and also check out the Vanilla Crepes pop-up they have periodically. It was cold and rainy outside and I was intrigued by the Matchai Picchu - a combination of matcha, chai and espresso. It sounded odd but it kind of worked. Not too sweet and didn't taste very strongly of coffee. I stopped by again recently as the weather warmed up and the larger side room was finally open. When I first visited, this room was under construction and empty. I LOVED the iced Bee Naughty which is just honey, vanilla, espresso and milk. I should be doing that with my own iced coffees or cold brews at home! Corner Cup also offers coffee beans for sale - I loved the 4oz. sample packs that allows for trying different roasts before settling on one. And the names of the roasts are hilarious! Parking is slightly limited but we always seem to nab a spot each time I've been here. Overall, Corner Cup Coffee is a great neighborhood coffee shop - just wish they could move into my neighborhood next! read more

I came here mainly because Vanilla Crepes was here BUT I got coffee, and my ice coffee was a cool compliment to the hot Sunday morning and my piping hot crepe.. On parking: This I have to mention... Although the address is on Main Street, you have to enter on Lyburn Dr from Lavista because there is no parking on Main and Lyburn is a one-way street from Lavista. My GPS took me to Main and I had to pass the coffee house to make a left on Lavista... So to save others the trouble, I thought I'd put it on here. Free parking is at the back of the establishment. I will surely come here again as it has very well shaded outdoor seating and enough space for my 114lbs Great Pyrenees to lie down. read more

My wife and I were slightly disappointed with our visit to Corner Cup. We ordered a decaf iced americano and a hot regular americano. The service was friendly but slow, and they mixed up our order. Lucky for us, that resulted in an extra hot Americano mistakenly made by the barista. Unfortunately, the iced decaf Americano was good, but the two hot americanos were fairly watery. The regular americano tasted strongly of cardboard, and the beans seemed to potentially be over-roasted as the cause. read more

I'm trying to support more small businesses and so I was looking for a replacement for my usual Starbucks. I looked on Yelp and saw The Corner Cup is just down from my house. The first time I tried a vanilla oat milk latte and a cranberry orange muffin. It was outstanding!! Since then I've tried a few different drinks, including the white chocolate mocha, the cookies and cream frappe, and even the strawberry mango smoothie. All have been amazing. Creamy, rich, and flavorful! The only item I've had that wasn't great was the cinnamon roll. It was a little dry and just tasted like it had been sitting for a while. But that one item doesn't take away from the overall 5 star experience I've had over multiple visits. If you're in the area, definitely give them a try. And if you're not in the area, hop in the car and get there! read more

i just moved to the area and this was the first coffee shop I've been to, and I am so glad it is. The atmosphere is so chill and calm, and the staff is incredibly sweet. I ordered the buttered croissant and asked the barista, Ruby, for the seasonal recommendation which was a lavender latte with oat milk, and I'm glad I did. It is creamy, just sweet enough, and the lavender flavor is definitely there but not overpowering. I'm not even a coffee person and this is so good. Will def be coming back. read more
